So far and from my understanding no minimal and maximal post required to earn merits and if you post something that is helpful to community you would see merits coming like flood to your profile,as a matter of fact a single post can possibly earn you up to 100 merits depending on creativity and useful you information could be. The thing is most of the topic created by newbie are the topics already created but just that they always reform it make it looks like another post or I will say there is always a particular methods mostly used by some newbie to earn merits and since lots of people knows giving out merits to similar post could be very hard.

One thing we have failed to realise in this forum is that newbies will always post like one and using your standard of post quality to judge them might be the reason many of them are resorting to seeking help from AI in order to impress people. As much as possible, we should try and remember  how difficult it was for us when we started. Blockchain technology is an entirely new concept to many people, so we should manage our expectations from people properly so that there could be continuity because many of them are running away siting that here is too harsh. Reading the rules and all the links you shared are not enough... most people learn through practice.

Well said Mate, same time the links he shared would be useful for OP, to guide him on how to make useful Post on the Forum. Remember we practice based on information we have and not vice versa.

Yes, there’s no minimum or maximum post needed in the forum in order to earn merits. Earning merits does not matter on the quantity of the post, but rather on the quality itself. If you are only able to make a single post and yet that post becomes very relevant and useful for majority of the members, in no time you will receive series of merits. That looks very easy to achieve but actually when you are not a good and quality poster, you will find it the hardest.

Such users usually join forums only after they are told by someone that they can earn money from those forums, and they have been given directions about what they need to do to earn money, and they keep following what has been told. So if someone has been told that they need to participate in bounties if they want to earn money, they will stay in that section right from the beginning and will stay there for as long as they stay in the forum.

Users who join the forum randomly or because of their interest towards cryptocurrencies wouldn't have that sort of a nature, they will be seen surfing around the forum, reading and maybe making posts where they feel they can, and those are the kinds of people who grow in the long run.

You know sometimes people always look at the merits aspect without them thinking on how to help the community, when community is being educated then people tends to be attracted to for merits. However there are some dedicated thread worth for merits if he thinks his post aren't receiving accordingly then he can report them to those people who are willingly giving out merits to people.

You don't have to make a lot of post to earn merit, only knew psit is enough to earn you a merit, it just has to caught the eye of a user that has some sendable merit and is willi on or happy with your post and decides to give it to you.

I believe different people have different way of viewing message and at same time they have different motive of viewing a particular post, there are people who view to criticism or belittle one's post, there are also people who view one's post with the intention to get the writer's point and there also people who view to correct you if there's a mistake etc those people who view in order to get the writer's point are the people that give merit the most if they have Smerit. Good of you to point out that your low quality posts could be the reason why you haven’t earned a single merit yet although i can see that you have already earned 2 merits from just asking this question. Sometimes you earn merit from posts you don’t even expect it just depends on who feels the post is merit worthy. There's no minimum or maximum number of posts that will make you to be eligible for merit and nobody is obligated to give you merit in this forum, this is the fact. I'll advise you to focus on learning about cryptocurrency from experienced members in the forum and also research from reputable crypto sites to increase your knowledge. That's the point most newbies don't understand or they simply don't understand this due to a lack of knowledge about the system. They hear from a friend or someone that it is possible to earn money from this forum but you need to have merits for that, and as soon as they create an account, they start a topic asking about how they can earn merit and what are the requirements, etc.

Everyone here inter go this situation before they become high rank members, may be the reason why you're not been merit in some of your posts if your content is not up that will be deserves merits, even though you made one hundred postia day no any of them will be merits.
