Bitcoin may still increase to $120000 but $100000 is what we are expecting for now. We still have the remaining part of this year and also the whole next year for bitcoin bull run. That is enough for bitcoin to get to $120000. But nobody knows the future. What that we know is that bitcoin may be slow and not increasing in price for some time but this will later change. I am still optimistic that bitcoin price will increase above $100000 and higher. But we just have to be very patient about it.

But anyway, encourage everyone to find out what it is first, then make the decision you want and be responsible for what you do, don't just depend on your own judgments incredulously.

But if you are new I think what is attracting you to bitcoin is precisely that, its revaluation potential and I would advise you to be interested in its other aspects, about its nature and how it works, which is what makes it so valuable.

When Bitcoin was under $20k last year did you think it would go over $70k in the current market, did you think this was a rumor?  Don't you think bitcoin price will reach $120k in current year with this trend of bitcoin. Although the price of Bitcoin is very volatile, I think it is possible for Bitcoin to reach $120k in the future, if you want that time moment, you must hold on to Bitcoin investment.

Welcome to Bitcointalk and I hope your stay here will be fruitful. You didn't specify the source of your prediction but everyone is free to speculate. Everybody has their predictions about the price of Bitcoin but none of them is certain. Some people predicted that Bitcoin would crash but it has not come to pass. Others have also speculated that the price will go above $120k, we are still waiting for this to happen. But sincerely Bitcoin can even get to any price but it depends on different economic and political factors. I predict the coin will reach $100k because the world economy is recovering gradually. Some major economies in Europe have recently reduced interest rates and it is also predicted that the UK and US might also take the same decision in a few months. Spot Bitcoin ETF approval in the US, Hong Kong and Australia is also a plus to the price of Bitcoin.

It's hard to say with a guarantee that bitcoin will reach that in this few years but it will definitely get there eventually. Bitcoin as we all should know by now is a volatile asset, it's pumping in prices right now and then an hour later, people are panic selling because the price went down in a massive nosedive, that's how crazy the bitcoin market movement is so even if we do believe it will reach that point, there's no guarantee or certainty of when will it go there, hopefully it's going to be this year or the next year but we can never truly know when. There's also the factor that before bitcoin can reach that number, it has to pass some price resistance and there's a lot of them so I don't think that it's going to be an easy path for bitcoin, people will sell at each thousand increase in prices which will hold it back. What you can do in this situation is to just continue hodling, no matter what happens in the market that's affecting it negatively, just hodl.

If you are new to the market and want to verify this just to invest in bitcoin then I don't think you should do it. Because even if bitcoin can reach $120k in the future, if you invest without any knowledge, you will not be able to hold until bitcoin reaches $120k. So, as a newbie, you need to learn about bitcoin, learn everything necessary for your investment journey, and do not invest based on other people's advice.

Also, no one knows whether bitcoin will reach 120k or not, what people are telling you is just their speculation. They cannot commit or provide any evidence to confirm that what they say will definitely happen. You should find the answer yourself using your own knowledge.

That's not the only market price many are speculating on, some already see the market going by far up to $150,000 or something close to $200,000 and even more, you can also discover about some saying that it may reach up to $100,000 and so on, all before the end of this year or by the beginning of next year, what i will say concerning various opinions is for everyone to make his own research and fndings,  because bitcoin will definitely make a new all time high above $100,000

price stayed in the range 60k - 70k for a long time and i think its just adjusting to reset the momentum. it may take months again to see the RSI oversold in the longer time frame.  if there is to wait before going to 100k, it will be the next dip of BTC which will likely in few more weeks. and the price will probabky 59,999.

somewhere under 60k. thats likely theo 80k last dip before another jump to 80k.

If you were specific then you would get different opinions pointing at same goal but right here I doubt it because you even be confused due to opinions would come based on individual understanding of your post.

To my own understanding: We have met a new Bitcoin market ATH at $73K before the halving which has surpasses the previous ATH of $69K at 2021, investors are expects almost X2 of the last bull-run ATH to hit $120K by the ATH of this circle bull-run.
Although all these are just market sentiments where investors are only predicting what the future holds at this Bitcoins event circle.

Meanwhile... Other investors are expecting more or lesser than the specified $120K

Yes I believe it will happen, $120K is just 2x from the current price, usually Bitcoin bull season can make 2x-3x from the previous ATH, that's why I think it's possible.

If someone believe Bitcoin price will touch $120K, I don't see any reason why they need to wait until Bitcoin price hit $60K to buy, right now the price is $70K which is not that different to $60K. It's an exception if you're trader who looking for consistent short term profit.

Even more than $200K we heard about bitcoin.
You know Robert Kiyosaki's predicted the price of bitcoin in August 2024 was $350,000 even though it doesn't sound reasonable but famous people like to have their own choices.

I don't think this is a problem, people are free to predict what they want including wild guesses, for me $100K is still quite realistic even though the initial target is $100K, which is what many investors expect.

1. Making bitcoin price predictions is cheap. Most of those making them are biased.
2. Keep in mind you are on a Bitcoin forum, hence all the answers here may also be biased. So, especially if you are asking for an advice whether to invest.. please DYOR and decide for yourself.
3. My opinion on this matter is that 120k is a realistic price target, but I cannot give a time frame for it. Hence my opinion on this is that people need to stack sats and wait patiently.

I want to tell you that still a lot of people are buying bitcoins every day for 70k and if you follow bitcoin ETFs you can see that they are buying bitcoins in large quantities every day without bothering about the price. What purpose do you think they buy bitcoin for other than profit? And if you take the time to learn about bitcoin, you will see that bitcoin has increased from $1 to $70k in the last 15 years and its demand has been increasing since the bitcoin ETF was approved. Demand continues to increase combined with limited supply, do you think it will be too difficult for bitcoin to rise from $70k$ to $120k?

What you hear will no longer be a rumor but will become a reality and that will most likely happen in the near future when the bull season is really approaching. We cannot know exactly when bitcoin will reach $120k but it is almost inevitable in the future.

Actually there are predictions made by different experts of the crypto market so it cannot be termed as rumours but the reality of these predictions will show whether these are accurate or not. Nobody knows about the future so everyone is predicting some prices and that predictions are made according to past activity of Bitcoin and it is started that Bitcoin repeats its history after the cycle of four years.

It is assumed that 100k$ will be achievable during this bull season and nobody knows that when this bull season will end so it is necessary to wait until the middle of next year as halving has initiated its effects which will get better as the time goes on. First we should wait for 100k$ because we are far from such value and if it becomes possible then we should increase our target for the remaining Bitcoin which we will not sold at the worth of 100k$.

$120,000 can still be broken by bitcoin the next bullish rise can be more than 3x that's the cycle we see from previous history, you don't believe it's not a problem for you.

I don't doubt bitcoin is still in the range of 3 digits maybe most people $100K is a close enough number for bitcoin as for more than that then that's what we expect as investors.

We'll see in 2025 if this can be achieved? I predict 2025 is where bitcoin will be bullish.

Why? because of course you are dealing with a speculative market on which it would really be understandable that price predictions is something that you would be able to read up because there's no way that we can be able to predict on what would happen.
This is why people would really be telling different numbers from time to time.

Bitcoin will surely achieve $120k which anyone who is into this domain can tell you but when it's going to happen is something no one can predict because whenever Bitcoin's price increases we see stuffs like this and the same people try to term Bitcoin as bubble during the bearish season. I would say when we enter a proper bull season like we experienced in last two bull cycle then Bitcoin can easily achieve $120000 else it would take sometime since it will be achieved gradually.
