BTC has been on the hot seat lately, and today it's pushing ETFs to the top of the heap.
According to news reports, ETF investing has taken in more than $800 million in capital, which is a macro figure Why is it that ETFs are the only ones in the cryptocurrency ecosystem that have made an epic rise to prominence?
Let's analyze it from several angles
First of all, as the first cryptocurrency to be listed as a backdrop, BTC is the only giant that has experienced a lot of bloodshed even before it grew up, which has also paved the way for its current status.

Let's put it another way, is this a God-given destiny or is it being manipulated by invisible capital behind the scenes?  We don't know, but with the volatility of the cryptocurrency market and increased demand for digital assets, bitcoin spot ETFs have become the focus of investor attention. on June 4, bitcoin spot ETFs saw a one-day net inflow of $887 million, which was the second-highest one-day net inflow since March 12, when it hit a record of $1.05 billion. And with ETFs allowing investors to easily buy and sell bitcoin in traditional securities markets without having to directly hold or manage the digital asset , doesn't this this break the decentralized nature of it? As we've talked about above is this God's plan or is it the control of capital Is the peak of ETFs really shaping up as us investors?

BTC has been on the hot seat lately, and today it's pushing ETFs to the top of the heap.
According to news reports

But where is the link to the source on this, there are times you will just have to include a reference link to buttress your facts about an area of discussion a d for others coming across it to read more better on other aspects not captured from your own summary, I know personally that bitcoin has helped with the accomplishment of many goals under the organizations applying for spot bitcoin ETF and this has severally been discussed as well on other threads coming up before this one.

ETF investing has taken in more than $800 million in capital, which is a macro figure Why is it that ETFs are the only ones in the cryptocurrency ecosystem that have made an epic rise to prominence?

ETF is not something to be considered as part of cryptocurrency, because it deals mostly with the centralized institutions and their financial market value or bonds, but they have seen the impact of how they could also tap from been a beneficiary of bitcoin market price for their stocks, and this made them to gain more attention because they now got approved for bitcoin spot ETF, while they are not direct investors of bitcoin.

Yes. Bitcoin ETF is a centralized way of holding bitcoin. It quite literally is the opposite of what bitcoin should be but somehow people feel more comfortable buying ETFs than just buying bitcoin directly and holding it themselves.

I don’t correlate God or any religious entity to market and economic development, mate. It’s money, not destiny. Since ETF has just been approved not too long ago, people are starting to buy more and more bitcoin ETF.

You're talking about god's plan or invisible capital...wtf hahaha.

Money going into ETF is just people and institutions buying it through TradFi products. No different than people and institutions buying bitcoin itself on exchanges. Just another bitcoin market.

And the $887 million happened several days ago, on Tuesday. Wednesday was another ~$500 million, Thursday was $200+ million, and yesterday was $140 million or so.

ETFs have nothing to do with Bitcoin's decentralization, so not sure why you are even mentioning that. Bitcoin is not proof-of-stake, ownership of coins doesn't affect decentralization at all. With the upcoming ETH ETFs, that will indeed further centralize Ethereum, but Bitcoin is Proof of Work so it does nothing to Bitcoin other than increase adoption.

I don’t know which one specifically did op take their summary from but there are multiple articles talking about this.

This is the very first article that pops up when you try to search etf and its second-highest inflow in a day without any outflow
https://cryptoslate.com/insights/bitcoin-etfs-see-887-million-total-inflow-with-no-outflows-from-gbtc/

I don’t know if there is any particular news that has driven investors to be all buying bitcoin etfs but I think this just shows how much they trust bitcoin (well not much considering they are buying etf) and its potential growth. I will not be buying etf bitcoin but instead just your old normal bitcoin and everyone should be doing the same thing.

Because the fund managers from the companies that are offering bitcoin ETFs are so good at their jobs and that they've got a client that's got a deep pockets so it's no surprise that they were able to get it to this point, basically, they've done their best at doing sales talk with these people so they can get their commissions, anything for commission after all. This is also the gateway investment for some big money investors into bitcoin investment, they like to try and see this if it's any good and then they get curious and they buy their own bitcoin which will eventually lead to more bitcoin demand and leading to increase in the prices.

As far as I'm concerned the numbers surrounding the value of bitcoin ETFs are certainly cause for excitement. With the world's most famous cryptocurrency now available to financial institutions with a combined multi-trillion in assets under management, the potential institutional influx could be transformative in an industry with market capitalization the demand for bitcoin is attracting.

Could it be possible that there is a large entity or institution that purchased btc etf that’s why the data appears to have such a huge inflow of buyers. We all know that companies prefer to buy etf btc instead of buying btc directly.

The approval of etf btc was mainly for companies who were not allowed to purchase btc on its own. Now that they are able to, many are taking the opportunity before btc’s price rise more in the next following months.

Bitcoin is not a first cryptocurrency because there are some cryptocurrencies before Bitcoin but Bitcoin is a first successful cryptocurrency.

You used words like bloodshed to try making impressions but I disagree. It can be barrier for people who hate Bitcoin feel hate it more and it can prevent new people to join this market. Bitcoin has gone through many years of fear, uncertainty but it has grown up with time and after 10 years since a first Bitcoin Spot ETF application in the USA, this year we have it in January. It's big milestone for Bitcoin and Bitcoin communities.

Bitcoin first, paved a successful path for Ethereum to be a second cryptocurrency to have its Spot ETFs in the USA. The leadership of Bitcoin is clear and it will continue to be like this. It is more easily to attack, shut down centralized blockchains, projects than doing this with a true decentralized blockchain and project like Bitcoin.

Look we have to see the markets reaction after every incidence now because it's not like that if some changes are made is capitals are raised the price will pump. We have seen previously that after the halving the market was so volatile and unpredictable.

Trends will tell these things better so let's see how BTC responds to these situations. I hope it will respond positively so that the meme coin investors will come back to BTc.

Based on what you said, I would say something about Bitcoin ETFs. Bitcoin EPF is a slightly centralized way of holding Bitcoins. Who holds Bitcoin through ETFs? I have seen people holding Bitcoins through EPF instead of directly investing in Bitcoins because they are more interested in buying ETFs than buying Bitcoin directly.
Great investors understand the market well, so they know when to buy something that will be profitable for them. You will see that it has been allowed for a while, but it is managed by big investors who have taken a lot of interest in it, and now you understand why.

Simple reason that I can think of is that this is the only thing that's coming out of the mouth of many fund managers that want to sell something to their clients, bitcoin ETFs are a new thing and they can easily spin the narrative that this is a new thing and that if you invest now, you're one of the early adopters of the ETF which in the ears and the mind of that investors, it would sound really good that they can't pass up on the opportunity albeit the risk is tied with the volatility of bitcoin. It's actually pretty impressive that we're not even half a year to the approval of ETFs, they're able to get this much money already, goes to show that investors have a confidence that bitcoin's going to be a really big deal in the near future and missing out means that you'll regret things later when it inevitably goes up.

Perhaps the OP is referring to "paper bitcoin" and how it could potentially manipulate the BTC price like paper silver is manipulated by big bankers to affect the market value of silver? I'm not sure, purely speculation but that is what came across my mind while reading that. Surely the inflows are great & will help the prop the price up. One great thing is the sheer rarity of Bitcoin vs. Silver in this example. BTC clocking in at 21 Mil (less than that if you count all the lost coins) vs. an estimated 60 billion troy ounces of silver https://learn.apmex.com/answers/how-much-silver-is-in-the-world/ and I don't believe that even accounts for all the paper silver either, but i'm not so sure...

Not really a great news! When people are free to buy actual Bitcoins from the open market, why do they take ETF route and go via brokers and exchanges where they are fully taxed on the income? This sounds absurd!

I was never in favor of bitcoin ETFs to be honest. This ETFs have opened up additional routes to benefit from its price movement without actually holding a Bitcoin. That brings in market manipulation which we can't see at the top. But these big corporates are holding too much of Bitcoins where they can easily manipulate the market at their own will. It's not much evident yet but slowly we will start to see that.

Bitcoin should remain in the hand of people, not at the hand of the big money-hungry corporates!

We are in a dilemma, I think ETFs are fostering interest in the crypto industry. There will be many new investors, and it will grow even more. On the other hand, is the stage of development of centralization as you said. It's like a whale that can move the market and I'm sure they will work like a whale. Our best move at this time may just be to hold back to keep preventing BTC hoarding circulating in 1 company. The industry will continue to grow like this, money is the ultimate goal. It's hard to prevent that from continuing, the industry will continue like that.

i don't think there is anything to be proud of about the development of this etf, since the development only benefits these companies, and its impact is not very significant on the bitcoin market.  however, if the companies providing these etfs intend to invest directly in the bitcoin market, we need to pay attention to this because it will directly raise the price of bitcoin.

I also think ETFs are making cryptocurrencies more popular which is attracting new investors and causing market to grow. But I am worried about few big players getting too much control like whales that can affect market means if they have big amount of Bitcoin so they can pump and dump the market easily. While it is tempting to join in and make money I think we should be careful and make sure one company does not own too much Bitcoin. Industry wants to make money but we need to be careful about few people having too much power and work towards a fairer and more open cryptocurrency market.

Bitcoin was big without the ETFs. NFTs have a market capitalization of almost $75 billion, and Bitcoin NFT market has a value of $1 billion. My point is, even though ETFs got a lot of attention and can be considered successful, $800 million is much less than the numbers I've just shared regarding other crypto initiatives. So it's inaccurate to say that the ETFs are the only ones that rose to prominence, as the op put it.
Also, you have a false dilemma there with a God-given destiny vs invisible market manipulations. NFTs had powerful but not invisible actor behind them that were pushing for their approval, and it makes sense that, once approved, they've found their market.

I also think ETFs are making cryptocurrencies more popular which is attracting new investors and causing market to grow.
Of course, ETFs make a strong opinion that they are regulated and are protected by government regulations. That is a strong attraction. The reason is that all users have a suggestion that Bitcoin in ETFs is a positive sign from the government. Because currently I am very confident that there are still very many users who obey the regulations made by the government, because they will feel protected and safe.

Bitcoin was big without the ETFs.

Yes, but I have an opinion if ETFs accelerate the process of Bitcoin to become bigger. Bitcoin's growth process has become faster because of regulations that are considered more convincing for some new investors to join.
