Manny is already in Japan together with his family for this fight so this is a go. Though i'm not excited of this exhibition fight of Manny but i want to see if he still has it, i mean i want to if he still got the moves to defeat a legit boxer because this fight is the gauge of whether he will fight Mario Barrios next or not, defending on his performance.

No odds yet for this fight in my favorite crypto bookies, maybe they will released it one day before the fight.

It's hard to gauge whether or not Pacquiao still has it when he is against a non-boxer. Surely, this Rukiya won't be 100% comfortable in the entire fight considering that his natural reflexes involve kicking. Trained as a professional kickboxer, Rukiya will have to mind his legs all the time in this match. Otherwise, if completely absorbed in the fight, it might fly all of a sudden as it's his nature already as a kickboxer to use it. Anyway, at least we can see Pacquiao's speed, reflexes, defense, and all in this match.

I doubt if the top crypto bookmakers would offer odds for this. If they will, it might not be worth betting at all. Pacquiao winning is probably too low but Pacquiao winning via KO is also not worth risking.

Right, last time we see him fighting a boxer, he lost that fight, although there could be arguments that Manny was not able to adjust on Ugas style as he was just a replacement fighter. But here, maybe in the training footages we can see his power, but he will be fighting a non-boxer so it's not a good measurement to say that he is back and ready for Mario Barrios as we have seen his name popping lately to be Manny's next fight.

Manny Pacquiao targets 'very winnable’ Mario Barrios fight ahead of 46th birthday.

We talked so much about this fight, but we haven't touch base how tall Anpo is. He is 5'11 and obviously this is Manny's tallest opponent, same with Antonio Margarito, when they fought at 154 lbs.

But this is just exhibition though so Manny might not have difficulties of fighting a taller Rukiya here. And yes, Manny is making a comeback in the professional rank. But we will have to wait for this fight to happen and as boxing fans, see if Manny even at his age, can go up and fight a bigger guy in Mario Barrios and very young as well. So it's going to be a big effort on his part to become a world champion again at age 45-46.

Reach would be an advantage to a tall person but it would pretty useless if that one wont really be able to land a solid punch and also it would be always that under on someone who do have that speed and agility.
Yes, reach is a problem but wont really be that much on the moment that he could really be able to close in but just like on what you have said that this is really just that an exhibition match.
World champion again? There's no way that he would really be going back into the professional ring and he's old for that, this is why we are seeing that these legends are making those exhibition
matches on which they do know that they could hook up that good amount of fans that will really be willing to spend on buying up tickets or PPV's to watch their fight. This is actually
their advantage because they're known or popular. Speaking about the fight then we do know that when it comes to boxing then boxers would really be having that advantage.

To protect Manny from un intentional used of kicks and elbows in which Anpo is used to. The referee can't just simply in their face or even if he did then Anpo being a MMA fighter can kick Manny so fast that he can't stop it from happening.

We will never know, against it's the instinct but with the huge fined, he will probably think twice. Sometimes fighters can't control themselves in the ring, we have seen them even attacking the referee.

Yeah, probably they did it for the hype, but I don't think it is needed because Manny is already an attraction where ever he go.

I doubt that Manny is a like a football player, will fall and start rolling as in huge pain after a slight touch. Kicks are nasty and they are key to success against boxer in MMA fights. But that is boxing. At least several kicks Manny could take before ref will jump in between them. Even a regular guy can take one or two kicks from a pro before being chopped down like a tree. But Manny is a fighter. I doubt that Anpo looses his head so hard, that he will eventually turn this fight into kickboxing. And yeah, Manny is already an attraction and hypes the fight, but there is always never enough of hype Cheesy

Yes, he is, Manny Pacquiao exploring fall title bout vs. Mario Barrios. Not just he wanted to come a comeback on professional boxer, but he has shows intention of going into this years Olympics but the IOC shoot down that idea of Manny because of his age.

But in the professional ring, he might do it again I reckon. As we have talked about, 147 lbs right now is weak, unlike before wherein this is really the center piece of boxing. Now we have champions like Mario Barrios or Eimantas Stannionis or Jaron Ennis. Unlike before that it was really stack up division. Although if you check the champions, we see names like Spence and Crawford but most likely they will go up in weight. So this division has lost some of it's steam with the current bred of champion and probably this is a good chance for Pacquiao to become a champion again.

The odds for the fight tomorrow are already out. However, the market is very limited as what you can see now are just the moneyline odds.

Check your sportsbook now. Here are the odds:

Manny Pacquiao = 1.09
Rukiya Abo = 9.40

Anyone sees Anpo's odds as very attractive? I wrote it as "Abo" as that is what is written in my bookie, so I'm quite curious now about his real last name. Anyway, what are your thoughts on this? If there's no other market for odds, would you take 1.09 if you believe in Manny?

Thanks for the odds. I have checked them, and that really was the case. Nah, I don't find it attractive because I believe that Anpo has no chance of beating the legend. Manny will win this easily, but I would not take that 1.09 either. So, what I would do is just watch and enjoy some beer on a Sunday afternoon.

Here are the details on how to watch the fight.

No, he is not 5'11 he stands at 1.84 or 6.03 feet so he is a 6-footer and this is their height difference when they face side by side since Anpo is fighting as a boxer his body is an easy target for Manny, kickboxers are not defensive oriented they rely for their kicks for their defense by means of warding off their opponent, since he is restricted he will have to use footwork and long jabs, but Manny's quick reaction and lightning speed punch will overwhelm Anpo.

Yeah, that is if you think that Anpo can beat Manny Pacquiao in a exhibition match with boxing rules. So it's obvious that Pacquiao will be a huge favorite in this fight and even if Anpo is big for him, he has faces taller and heavier guy in his career.

And it seems that Manny is going to enjoy this fight as well. He is big at 150 lbs here, but nevertheless we all know that when he goes back to his old training he is going to be deadly. So for me, I wouldn't take that risk on Anpo in this fight, and it might be better for boxing fans to just watch the fight. Although I'm not stopping you guys from betting if this is available to our crypto bookies.

But in your opinion really count the weight, Pacquiao breaks him he practices boxing the real one that was made in the jungle attention not a fake like Jake Paul this MENA is when he does it beats like a blacksmith attention that could be one of the best meetings in the history of modern boxing I like so much and see it in action I gas a bang I can not wait

Would not be a miracle if those who bet on Manny lose and this fight ends with a draw. Betting on exhibition fight is risky, as bookies see it from past achievements and record point of view, but how the fight happens no one knows. It might turn, that in such exhibition fight, ref would spoil everything and make an early stoppage, making Abo a winner, wheb Manny will be barely dazed.

There was no winner as no one got knocked out in the fight. But the way I see it, it seemed Anpo was the one dominating the fight, maybe because he was the bigger fighter, and of course, Manny is already old. Good thing Manny was able to survive and wasn't knocked out despite being hit by a solid punch.

By the way, Ryan watched the fight and it seems like he was disappointed, but maybe it's possible to see a Manny vs. Ryan exhibition. That would certainly be fun as both are pros. Hopefully, if it happens, it's not just a 3-round fight.

That show Pacquaio is old already and its good to settle up from retirement since he don't need to prove anything. We can somehow see that the decision is biased and I guess it automatically goes in favor with Pacquaio that's why the result is draw.

That's why I don't like to bet on exhibition games since everything is unsure there and for sure there would be discussions that usually legends are the one who have advantage on these fights.

Ryan maybe got disappointed since he look forward to see more better action but he didn't like how it ends up but still its good fight. Manny vs Ryan exhibition match maybe impossible to happen for now, but who knows maybe there will be a good deal will happen and we could able to see this happen.

Yeah, and for sure those who bet on Manny Pacquaio was disappointed, or at least fans who thought that Manny still has something in his arsenal. His timing is off, and it was a lackluster performance. So I don't think that he is really for Mario Barrios in the professional fight. I don't want to say this, but most likely if he tries to go pro again, he will be knockout and it doesn't look good for him.

Might be better to stay in the exhibition games for now, make easy money just like what Floyd is doing, and stir away from fighting young professional boxers. As for Ryan Garcia who would be his next exhibition fight, it should be stage and Ryan might hurt him bad.

Father time has already Manny's number and i don't think he could beat a legitimate boxer like Mario Barrios. The reason for his off-timing maybe the ring rust but i don't think hard trainer would bring back the Manny Pacquaio we once saw fight the likes of Thurman.

If he wants to box, maybe he could do a Floyd which only fought on exhibition matches and not on regular professional fights as it would be a risk to his health.

It does not favor him, it's part of the rule that when no KO, there will be no winner declare, and that's just what happen.
Pacman was really rocked by the power punches of his opponent but he survived. However, it wasn't the Pacman we used to see, he was suppose to be the one dominating the fight, but that time, it was like Margarito hit him so hard, or maybe it's a wrong choice of opponent as the size difference was really evident.

That's why I don't like to bet on exhibition games since everything is unsure there and for sure there would be discussions that usually legends are the one who have advantage on these fights.

Ryan is current suspended in professional boxing due to his violation against Haney, so it's high time for him to schedule with an exhibition fight with Pacman, that if Pacman would agree after he experience getting rocked by the solid punches of the Japanese.

Manny Pacquiao is back out of retirement and he will be up against Rukiya Anpo he is a replacement for Suzuki who suffered from injury, he is former K1 Super Lightweight (-65 kg) the fight will still be held  on July 28 in Saitama, Japan

Anpo, 0-1 in MMA, holds a record of 27-8-1 as a professional kickboxer, scoring knockouts in 14 of his victories, winning and defending the K-1 super lightweight championship.

Do you think Manny Pacquiao still has what it takes to fight in the ring, this could be a tune fight to the match awaited Pacquiao - Mayweather2
Of course he still has it, and it will always be there. He still can go toe to toe with younger fighters as shown on his previous matches. But with this match, I guess this would be one sided if ever it will be an official one and not just an exhibition match.  Boxing is a different sports as we all know; rounds are more in numbers and  boxers are just having that resistance to be at an advantage of this. Will be exciting to watch given that these players are originally from different "worlds". But I guess it won't be worthy of placing a bet with since I'm expecting both of them to not go all out as sign of respect. Would be preferring Manny to fight Floyd for the second time because it is more of a bigger deal, however one fighter is just not okay making this possible which is quite unfortunate for the fans out here. But I will definitely be watching this bout between Manny and Rukiya.

This is the highlight of the fight :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okl-1cqOWcg

It's only a three-rounder since it's a stoppage that can only score a win. The bout was declared a draw. I think Manny should finally retire. He had a hard time against Anpo, but on the other hand, Anpo could not even stop a guy half his age, but he had a good showing.

With this fight, I don't think the Mario Barrios fight should proceed as Pacquiao showed ageing in how he moves, and although there is still sting in his fight, it's not enough to seriously hurt an opponent.

Manny should realize that the body cannot keep up even if the mind says he still can, the boxing community do not want Pacquiao to get seriously hurt at his age.

Quote
It was indeed tough to watch at times, with Pacquiao getting tagged again and again by Anpo, the tallest man Pac-Man has ever shared a ring with at 6ft. Pacquiao couldn’t find his range and he was picked off, sometimes by what appeared to be full-bloodied shots to the head and body. Pac-Man had his moments, flashes really, but he looked a faded force compared to what he once was. As fans have posted on social media, ‘Father Time remains unbeaten.’

        -     Honestly, Paquiao was disappointing in that exhibition. I can't say that the punches he unleashed on his opponent still had power because his opponent was able to sustain his punches.

I watched the replay and I think age just caught up with Manny.  Aside from being old, his opponent knows how to box and knows how to use his reach advantage.  I saw several throws of Manny that were supposed to be hitting miss.  That simply show that manny is overly cautious, thinking of defending even before his punches landed.

Aside from that the reach advantage of his opponent is evident.  I think it would be a different performance if the fight happened when Manny was at his peak, this fight simply tells us that it is really time for Manny to retire.
