Yes Bitcoin just as many has said has been a beacon of crime reduction in many society who full adopt Bitcoin with good policy through a good leadership of the government, what Bitcoin had done is crime reduction of many society most time deem infinitesimal because of some unfavorable policy of the government and hardship that has already overweight the people, it would have even become worst that what many experience in terms of crime rate if not of the Bitcoin cutting down the unengage population that would have facilitate more crime as they are been fully engaged in Bitcoin with by trading, mining and all sort of activities in Bitcoin that one can still find his daily bread.

The fact that crime can't be totally eliminated in humanity despite any favourable measure or medium in which human is involved doesn't make Bitcoin not curving crime  just that human want is insatiable and crime is inevitable in human existence but the introduction of Bitcoin had save many life's and has save nation and society in peace keeping from what would has happened when millions of youth and people engage in Bitcoin is idle, the saying of idle man is devils workshop would have been the order of the day mostly the third world countries where unemployment rate is hitting high on daily basis .

All we need to do is to spread the good news of bitcoin and it benefits to more youths, so to gain more of them that's constituting nuisance in the community to stop.

We all know that bitcoin is still not popular and known by so many Nigerians. Many that have known about it has no interest in it as they take it to be a thing for the people that are using it meaning that they do not want to be part of it. People are yawning for inventions that are profit oriented. Bitcoin is a risky business as one can loose his money in form of fraud, losses in trading and high transaction fees. 2. The purpose of your bitcoin usage might vary from my own. Bitcoin can also amplify crime in terms of money laundering, scamming people, frauding people. Someone can grand you now and deposit the funds in his bitcoin wallet so that you can't trace him or her since we pack knowledge in that area. Many other persons bitcoin has been hacked and stolen, all these are criminal offences.

3.i do not think bitcoin can help in reducing crime since it is expensive to buy the asset(bitcoin). For instance, a prospective criminal that would have engaged himself with bitcoin may not be able to buy the coin. Especially for we using naira to buy it. Therefore the criminal will be left with no choice than to commit crime.

Could you you to enlighten us where bitcoin mining i actually taking place in Nigeria, I would love to visit there myself, if not at all to gain more knowledge of the act and witness it first hand. I have not heard of such activity in Nigeria, but I'm optimistic of its existence.

Well said, an idle mind is a devil's workshop and bitcoin activities has kept the masses, even the dangerous species busy with trying to make a living in it so they barely have time for their illegal activities and our streets are cleansed  of crime by almost 70%,  thanks to bitcoin and crypto generally. No doubt ,that was what one bolt guy and I was discussing earlier today. The rate of unemployment in Nigeria and hike in fuel price and market goods. Imagine they was not bitcoin, that's keeping the youths busy because of the opportunity it brings, the government Would have seen chaio they never seen before. I totally agree with you. In most cases the crimes are usually related to money which applies to Nigeria or other countries as well. People can benefit from Bitcoin only when they start accumulating it or keep themselves by buying and selling it. Also, criminal tendencies may occur despite having more money in many cases.
In order to reduce the crime trend in the social sphere, raising public awareness and providing employment should be widely practiced through a small portion of the income to deposit Bitcoins which can greatly benefit each holder in a short span of time. People should increase bitcoin deposits where regular banks offer minimal profit for fiat depositors. Crime tendency can be reduced only when we can make ourselves more aware and make our children aware. In this case, our financial well-being is also very important.

Bitcoin somehow have reduced major crimes, but in the other side Bitcoin also have increased cybercrime. Although, there are so many factors facilitating the increase in the rate of crime in our society but if we critically deepdown on the root of incessant increase of crime and other criminal activities in our society today it will be so notable that poverty and unemployment especially among the youth are the major anchor to the increase in crime and criminal activities in the society. In our society today, Even the blind man feels the impact of crypto involvements on security unrests. Apart from the security breaches planted solely by the government and their hit men, our streets are safer and those assumed bad boys have all taken careers in both forex and crypto trading alike.

In my area in the South-South part of the country, nobody has your time anymore and we move around in odd hours freely as against earlier when we were always skeptical when returning home late. Bitcoin na money, just telling someone about bitcoin does not mean the person would immediately start making money (bitcoin). This is no money making scheme, and you need to have money to be able to buy/invest in bitcoin, which the poor cannot do, and if they manage to do so, the amount and possible ROI would be so small and inconsequential.

already Bitcoin has grown so popular that everybody is aware of it in the country and majority of people are currently investing on it, some are into trading while some are into long term holding depending on the one that's best for them, so truly we have seen and experience a very good impact Bitcoin has brought in our Obodo Nigeria and has moved most people from dependent to independent person were they can now fed for themselves.
