Although, there are so many factors facilitating the increase in the rate of crime in our society but if we critically deepdown on the root of incessant increase of crime and other criminal activities in our society today it will be so notable that poverty and unemployment especially among the youth are the major anchor to the increase in crime and criminal activities in the society. I think if there is adequate sentization of Bitcoin in our society it will help in the reduction of crime because many people that are involve in some fraudulent activities today would venture into Bitcoin and be making a reasoning resource from Bitcoin if really inconcated with the actually knowledge and information to be successful in the system.

Why only looking at the disadvantage part of the works of bitcoin when it has brought other advantages to the unemployed with or without the knowledge of bitcoin, most people that gained financial stability in Nigeria even with the hash economic situations where opportune to be privilege enough to invest with the little they have and now freedom is there's.
Some of the challenges affecting Nigeria is our nagetive perspective of drawing conclusions on issues without proper scrutiny to see if its as bad as it was painted. We have different views according to what we believe. As a matter of concern, I believe bitcoin has lifted many people from the ground. Yes of course bitcoin is actually playing a role in crime reduction. Because In the past years before bitcoin came in to play there was serious cases of armed rubberise due to poverty and unemployment especially among the youth. And that is a major problem in a society Wch gives birth to so many crime. Okay I look at it in different areas and I see reason why bitcoin would reduce but not eliminat crime. Like you, I don't think Bitcoin helps in curbing crime because we may see that kidnapping, terrorism, robbery and drug dealers prefer to receive Bitcoin from their clients instead of Fiat, which proves that these unscrupulous people are abusing Bitcoin. While Bitcoin is a fact that some people are abusing it, we see that many people are able to increase their self-employment and investing in electronic currency can increase the quality of life in the future. Bitcoin has in so many ways improved and made life somewhat easier for people, I don’t know about others, but at least now I know I don’t have to depend on help me keep my money for me cos I can literally do it myself. Imagine back them before the emergence of Bitcoin how sending money across the boarder felt like, some might take days depending on the channel used, but now in a matter of seconds I can send money anywhere in the world without even having to pay so much money for fee. I know their is a whole lot going on in our society in recent time  due to no sufficient work for the youth to keep themselves busy but regardless I don't think Bitcoin innovation is the possible way of irradicating crime from the society, because Bitcoin investment isn't a get rich schemes that after investing you will be expecting your profit any time soon perhaps you need more time (years) to reach it stage of maturity. However, all you need is a sustainable source of income like a good job or a lucrative business that can keep you going by paying your bills and all that and even when you decided investing in Bitcoin it will also play a major role in sustaining you through your period of holding.

I don’t think gambling has reduced in Nigeria, it’s possible that people are no longer visiting bet shops like they used to, but you can’t be certain that they are betting online which is more convenient. As for bitcoin reducing crime, I think it’s possible but I doubt it has a significant effect because the people who are benefiting from bitcoin right now are mostly literate and wouldn’t have turned to crime regardless.
