No it’s not possible to identify for sure whether a project will grow at least 10x
let alone 50x for your minimum. With how many projects are out there, it’s difficult to look for a project with good potential and even if you find one everything else is just speculative assumptions and you can only confirm a project is successful once it starts gaining value.

People “knowing” that you could make good profit from bitcoin were just the result of analyzing history and speculating about the future. At this point (2013), those who had bought bitcoin at let’s say $1 has already made profit which gave them the confidence that it could potentially grow more in the future. The thing is with recent projects, it’s very rare to find a project early on and even if you find a project that has already grown we can’t be absolutely sure whether buying at its price is still going to be worth it because it may crash soon after such growth.

There always will be. The problem arises when you realize that only a small number of altcoins will achieve huge multipliers in the huge sea of altcoins that will simply just end up going to zero.

Honestly though, if you're asking this question, you're better off just buying BTC and enjoy the smaller long-term gains and just look for other avenues to earn money — like getting a nice job or starting a business.

If op is worried that bitcoin is too expensive, there will still be profits as long as you time your purchases in times where bitcoin isn’t at the peak of its price. You can also do DCA method or just regularly buying bitcoin in intervals.

I don’t think there is any altcoin that could grow as much and for as long as bitcoin has done these past few years.

Even veterans on the field can't even figure out which among those alts new or old will come up to x50 growth. You should realize that if someone can do that then money is easy to come their way and we can see a new crypto billionaire with that. But in reality crypto still unpredictable and there's no way that someone can predict that. If someone will tell you that its possible for them to guess that then ask for investment so you can earn passive income with them then its a big scam. Avoid it then better learn trading and to technical analysis since this will give us a high possibilities to earn from your trades. If you can take a risk then try meme coins its risky but maybe you can earn good profit there if you are careful and aware on what you are doing with this tokens.

It is possible to see that but finding that out before it happens is unlikely. You know what, this market is full of cryptos and looking for one really depends on how you're good at everything, research, analysis, etc. but even with that, it's just your chance that have increased in finding that out. Because the future of these projects still lies in the hands of the developers and as well as how welcoming their communities are that will create the demand for it.

In terms of potential I doubt if there is any coin that can  be like Bitcoin and if you are looking for a coin that can move x50 it will be not be easy to identify that kind of coin but there is a good chance Bitcoin can even move more than that in the years to come, so even if you invest with the belief that it will move x50 perhaps when it does you may not even be able to make a good profit because with how high the price has gone it will take a big investment before profiting from Bitcoin when the price move that way, so getting a good profit in that case is depend on the amount you invested.

Yes the Op question do not match the pool and it is better for him to remove the pool or edit it to Match the pool. And for now I don't think there is any project that can give that x50 in the altcoins section unless it is only bitcoin but we don't know the future if there be any so if you interested to invest in anyone then you can invest in it and hodle for some years. And altcoins that are doing well now, Notcoin which has good future, and if you can get some Eloncoin for the future then it is okay because when Eloncoin will be finally listed in CEX, then those who invested in the early time will make it.

The point is you have to do an independent analysis. For example, look at CMC, there are lots of altcoins there. My suggestion is that you research or analyze altcoins that are ranked 200 or below according to market capitalization. Because according to my experience, Altcoins that are in this ranking range, sometimes have very large potential to experience an increase of more than 50%. But also be careful of scam coins that can make you lose. And if you are looking for an altcoin that is similar to bitcoin it seems there are none at the moment. So in essence you have to study first and think more realistically.

Certainly, investing in cryptocurrencies can be a roller-coaster ride, however a strategic approach can yield significant returns. I personally like to allocate 50% of my portfolio to Bitcoin and Ethereum because historically they always lead the bullish trend, the remaining 50% I invest in innovative projects in Social DEFI , AI and  RWA sectors where technological advancement are rapidly occurring, and select hidden gems after through research and due diligence.

Scratch the first part as it indirectly promotes "timing the markets". DCA is better for most people.

There will be altcoins that will have very high multipliers, but most of the time it will just be temporary pumps that will very likely just dump back down in the end. Hence, bitcoin is better for 95% of people.
