why would anyone use mtGox CAD$!? Huh

please keep the CAD$ on the Canadian virtual exchange.

Liquidity, although Virtex is a lot better than it used to be.  It wasn't long ago that if you wanted to buy $1000 worth of Bitcoins, you'd end getting 50 or 60 for the going rate and the rest would be way over-priced.

wasn't that true for MtGox CAD$ too?

Virtex has always had more volume then mtgox CAD, so wouldn't them mean Liquidity has always been better on Virtex
i think MtGox's CAD is hurting the Canadian bitcoin market.

wasn't that true for MtGox CAD$ too?

Virtex has always had more volume then mtgox CAD, so wouldn't them mean Liquidity has always been better on Virtex
i think MtGox's CAD is hurting the Canadian bitcoin market.


There is no separate market for each currency.  All they do is increase the spread on the US market by 2.5% and take it as a currency exchange fee.  You're actually buying/selling your Bitcoins on the US market.
