Lol, some people are sure like that to be honest, you did be surprised that there are people who have made it a habit to borrow money and never pay back, and amazingly, they do this and keep doing it and are so comfortable about or with it.
All kicks and laughter untill that kind of people cross their path with someone who they think they can fool with their strategy, but they realize inna hard way they borrowed from someone they should not have borrowed and end up tortured, recorded in video and finally hidden in an unnamed hole in the middle of the jungle.
It may sound like an exaggeration, but in developing countries, specially where shark loans are common, one should never ask for money to gamble, in the end the money is going to be lost and the criminals will lose their temper.
It is such a sad and dangerous way to live, in my opinion. It is not worth it.
Correctly and perfectly said, totally agree with you, it's simply not worth it, most especially when we compare the risk to the potential reward, it is easy to assume borrowing to gamble is one of the easiest ways to make money even with a zero bank balance, that is; you win, repay the borrowed money ones, two times (depending on how large the won amount is), then the gambler already have (maybe) more than enough profit to go on gambling on their own without need to borrow money again.
It is always and absolutely simple to assume outcomes such as the above, but some fail to understand that assumptions can never be reality, for anybody can assume anything, but in the end, reality is what really matters, there are many who have (out of assumptions) gotten themselves into problems they never did imagined they ever be in.
Assuming you can borrow money, easily win, repay the money borrowed and go on enjoying gambling; is something that is very rare and only the extremely lucky ones have tried and it worked for them just the way they assumed it would, for the rest, it always end in the opposite of their assumption.
