Personally, I would prefer to have it in trading instead of gambling. In gambling, it's too much of a hassle in terms of having the maximum efficiency and control. Like what you said, there are stop losses and you can do leverage or not depending on the risk appetite that you have.

It's going to be a hassle for me if I were to gamble how I trade because I trade everyday using my bot. I have also tried bots in gambling and it's successful for a time but not all the time. The success rate in my experience is better in trading comparing to gambling.

In terms of advantages of gambling, it's quick and easy. There's really the instantaneous reward unlike trading, there would be a certain amount of time.

It must be said in advance that gambling includes different types of entertainment, which are very different from each other: I want to highlight Poker and Slots (or roulette with a ball).

- Poker is a game where you can predict, as in trading, while poker is much more predictable. In trading, you can't find anywhere a chance with which the price will go in a certain direction. And in poker, you can always know the chances of a further outcome.

- In roulette, everything is decided by chance. Absolutely not predictable.

Trading and gambling are almost exactly the same but trading is more skill than gambling.

In trading you can use the skills you have of course this is not a little you have to have a short or long position with a certain leverage behind it all must know the news because this also affects the movement of the coin being traded.

About gambling, IMO it is about prediction not fully relying on skills except sports betting and some other games. Sometimes I prefer sports betting because with knowledge of football at least we know the analysis needed.

I don't think trading and gambling are the same. But yes theres some cases they're the same like both involve risk. For me trading is based on careful analysis and smart decisions, like study markets and coins trends to guide traders choices, while gambling mostly relies on luck and chance. Even with sports betting the outcomes are often unpredictable like everytime I experience and not as influenced by skill as trading.

Yes, actually trading can be profitable if we have a strong analysis that means we can do it even though it is draining energy because there must be many patterns that are noticed so it is better to trade than gambling if we look in terms of profit.

Actually the same in sports betting despite having done the analysis and believing these odds will be won but the results are not as expected, this is also what I have experienced several times, but it's okay sports betting is part of the fun not looking for profits worth trading.

Probably the most obvious advantage I can see from partaking in gambling/Sportbetting is the higher potential wins. I could also think that there is a big difference between the User interface between those used for gambling/Sportbetting and the one used for trading, in order to trade one is supposed to use lines on tendency, bar lines, percentages of loss/wins and other graphical indicators so the trader can know as likely he is supposed to lose or win money on his position. On the other hand, the User interface of casinos and bookies is as friendly and colorful as possible, so gamblers can wager as much money as possible in the shortest time, the User interface is also used as a way to catch the eye on potential gamblers around the internet or even walking by a casino. And I can tell they work ,in my humble opinion.

There would be few people who may feel attracted when  giving a quick look at a traders interface, full of tendency indicators and lines 

By the way, I would keep investing as a different category of money handling (from gambling and trading), the speculation rate between investing and trading are quite apart from one another.

you can trade gambling odds as any other stuff that you can trade in your real life. just use a betting exchange and you have all done.
personally I didn't make distinction between the two actions. I consider trading as gambling, and gambling as trading.
Of course it changing the items but the nature of these actions is always the same.

No doubt stop loss is an instrument in trading that is very important because it helps those who know how to trade to cut their loss. I haven't done trading but I know that trading and gambling are equally risky, I just can't really distinguish where they make a difference but based on my understanding, in trading we can know or we can do forecasting so we know what the right thing to do, unlike gambling that really depends on luck or what results the system will produce. In gambling, we can play what we do or not take the bets seriously but in trading, we can't do this, trading is also not possible for people who are weak-minded, so we should study carefully before entering such ventures.

I have shared my opinion several times before, but for those who didn't read it I repeat that, to me, trading and gambling are almost the same.

If I had to mention two of the main differences between them, one would be that in most bets you know the outcome quickly, while if you trade you don't know it until you liquidate, so you can maintain for a longer time a (sometimes false) sensation of hope. The other main difference is that, although some bettors rely on their ability, we all know more or less that chance is key for their success, while traders think that if they have more info and apply TA they will get a profit for sure, which is not realistic.

If you are trade without knowledge, you are gamble with your money and can lose your money in trading. In trading, when you can not sell your coins because the coin price is down, you can hold it and wait for a while until the price can increase higher from your buy price so you can sell it and make a profit. Trading and investment risks are as results of traders and investors failing to understand the market system or during when there is an economy inflation and recalling from past experience can always have you the chances to secure your assets.

In the sport and card gambling, you are only based to secure your winning by luck and recalling your past experiences would only enhance your gaming knowledge but can not assure you to win at your next round.

So literally, I do not see any reasonable reasons so say that gambling has advantage over investment and trading.
If I must say, the only advantage sports and card base gambling could have over the above mentioned is that you can stake little amount of money to win huge profit but that is if only you are lucky to win. Else, I can not figure any advantage in gambling over trading and Investing.

I rarely trade but if there are earnings coming from airdrop then automatically I exchange it to bitcoin or USDT. I always prefer to hodl and start this journey for long months already.

But if I have extra funds they I treat myself to enjoy and get satisfied myself by playing on casino particularly on slow games. That's why I can't choose between the selection given by OP since usually I choose both since I do this activity regularly.

But I don't think gambling has advantage or anything since it will matter on people on where he's good at and also what activity he could able to enjoy. Haven been a long time gambler, I will always go for gambling, though both trading and gambling have their risk factors, just the way you think you can stop your losses in trading, most gamblers do take out what we call cashout whenever the cashout option is out for a running game you've predicted and you think that the game is going as you've planned. In gambling you can choice little odds to minimize your loss, because big odds are likely to be unfavourable, so in choosing a lesser odd, you help to manage your risk.
Trading requires extra calculaton of the market flow which is highly volatile, if you don't build a sophisticated knowledge on trading skills, you can hardly make profit.

I have difficulty analyzing my trade, but I enjoy analyzing the games I'm betting on. I love betting on boxing, and when I analyze, I feel a level of fulfillment more when looking at the fighters' stats than the numbers.

both trading and gambling have their own difficulties as you said, but i admit that gambling is trickier than trading, because in trading you have tools and various things that you can use, but when you gamble what you hold is luck or strategy that you can't do consistently like in trading. this is what makes gambling trickier than trading, especially when gamblers play in games that rely on luck, it can be much harder to win.

The way I think of it, is that trading can be divided into spot trading and non-spot trading, where the second one contains all the derivatives, options, leverage, margin and so on. The first group needs your skills, the second group is just gambling.

This is the same with gambling, you can bet anywhere. I could remember when I started gambling in college, we use dice and one of us was the person that do hold our bets. Whoever wins will be given the money, and everything went smoothly. It is still happening currently.
