I think that person is right and believe me when I say it's very possible, it might not have happen to you, maybe cause you're disciplined but there are others that's experienced it and I've fallen victim to that sometime ago. Just like the OP said, there's always this strong urge to bet again when you win, you might actually have an initial plan for the money before you won, but you'll be shocked how the urge to bet again would make you ignore those initial plans you had, and you'll only realise your mistake when you've lost half or all the money you won. It takes lots of discipline to over such temptation and I believe that most gamblers must have had such experience. What I do lately, especially when I win big money is to withdraw 80% of my what I win and keep the remaining to gamble later.
