This will definitely affect the educational status of students whole will attend such institution. Actually in our current age, I see most youth/students betting online while though having these center's will even influences more others to gamble since they can physically meet like minded peers.

Though this will be a mixed perception since some will be influence more to gambling or even becoming addicted and others will come to learn about the risks and ways to healthy gambling though the majority will still be tending to the negative aspects since student are usually not workers depending on their guidance for taking care of their needs and then may see gambling of making money for themselves by which they'll begin to gamble with their funds for upkeep or may even be tempted to use their school fee, house rent or other funds required for schooling.

If businesses around an institution of learning will always flourish and do extremely well due to the student's patronage to those businesses, then I think it's simply common sense to know already that having a gambling center, or better called, a gambling casino near and or around a education institution will definitely affect some of the students, please take note I said "some of the students", and this is because I personally believe that in every schools, there are always some really serious students who will never give themselves to living a type of life that is outside what they are in that school for.

But then, for some of the students, who really love to gamble, most especially those of them who are well into sports like their existence depends on it, having a gambling casino around the school will be a great opportunity for them to gamble, and this surely will affect their studies no doubt.

To have a gambling house near an educational institution can encourage students to gamble quite often, especially because we are talking about a collective phenomenon, where each student works as a reinforcer for each other towards gambling. The gambling house near the school can prejudice students a lot, if they aren't smart authentic individuals who are able to say NO to the temptations around them. The way gambling is this day, gambling center or casino does not need to be around learning institutions before those students will know about gambling. In my country, you can see betting agents everywhere and that is enough for those students and other people to know about gambling. Also you can see gambling ads on social media, YouTube and on TVs and everywhere.

An institution of learning remains an institution of learning whether there is a casino company around it or not. however a casino company that decides to site its location in a school environment of higher learning should know that majority of Thier customers will be people that are residing along that area and students coming out from campus.
In business, your location is very important, so you should know your targeted audience and where to best site your Business. If it becomes a negative reinforcement on the students as a result of a lot them frequenting the gambling center and forming an unhealthy gambling lifestyle, then the school authority might decide to write to appeal to the gambling center to move to another location.

Definitely yes, because I remember what kind of student I was, and I remember the behavior of my fellow classmates at the university. We knew all the pubs near the university, all the clubs and cafes.
And if there was a casino nearby at that time, then we would definitely go there and lose all the money. This depends on the level of the student, in my opinion, if it is in a high school environment, it will definitely be affected by the presence of gambling in the environment where they go to school, because usually high school students will already be related to finance so that it allows them to bet and dare to do so.
Maybe this is talking about a physical casino of course it will be very influential, but if it's a building or an online casino center I don't think it has much impact unless the building has the name of their casino and of course students will see and look for what it is and some will definitely gamble at that casino, but not as massive as the impact that a physical casino might have, because people's activities will be different there, which is definitely a negative impact.

I'm a student currently in the school premises, you can't imagine what I'm thinking right now! having a casino or a bet shop close to an institution of learning is more like setting a time bomb and sure it will explode and destroy something one day.

Just imagine staking a game which will be starting the same time with your class, and then you're in the lecture hall you here shout or some kind of sentiment of winning or loses while learning, you will not enjoy what will be the outcome. students will begin to move their interests to gambling as fast as possible especially when one hears the result of another student who won or was lucky enough to get a good profit, a lot of attitude change and social change will occur in such an environment.

Infact it's a bad idea, it will surely disrupt the attention of students and will be a negative impact on them or should I say us. basically in a will organised society it's not possible to have such a business situated around an institution of learning it's highly prohibited.

But the sad truth is, such a place is a good site for business and will surely progress but the effect of that is much worse than the profit one will be making.

But in reality, I really doubt a casino will be placed near schools since that is not the target market of the casino and they might faced legal charges and complaints if the parents of the students reported them to the authorities.

If a casino is opened near a school environment, then it is really a cool strategy for the casino owner because he will definitely have a lot of customers (students) who will regularly visit the casino. I have not heard that there is any country where there is law against that and the last time I checked, casinos have age limit  required to be allowed access into their facilities and services.  If they are located around institutions of learning, they have their target customers there and if the students and staff of such institutions qualify by age, I do not see anything bad there unless you are telling me that casinos are general distraction to society which I disagree with.

Casino is just like every other business. In my country, things that you will find around institutions of learning are casinos, game houses, recreation centres and numerous other businesses including clubs and hotels. Students that want to be distracted will always be distracted, not because they have access to casinos within the school environment.

It will have a negative impact on the minds of the students of that learning institution. This is why we have a law in our country that a betting station or gaming center should be at least 300 meters away from a school or learning institution; you will not be granted a license if you are less than 300 meters, the students should not be aware of the existence of gaming or gambling center because they might be tempted to play there out of curiosity and if the owners are corrupt, they might ley these students go inside.

Gambling is very legal in our country but our government has very strict rules and provisions and one of these is the proximity of the betting station to a school.

Children have curious minds if they see these betting stations they will be curious to know what gambling is all about and they might not concentrate on their studies.

We do have a lotto station on every corner of our city and town but they never allow it to be near any school or learning station they should be more than 400 meters or even further, the minds of the students are more important than the taxes of these betting stations.
