With KYC without a doubt, as youve said most of casino right now requires KYC and there's a reason behind that, and for me I dont mind complying to that because if I get verified then I will never experience any problem when it comes to my account and when I want to withdraw some of my funds, The thing about KYC is that it became mandatory to most of casino websites because that's the way of protecting the casino and its customer and it could eliminate illicit activity that can be done inside a casino platform, like money laundering and such, and as most of casino is implementing KYC then you dont have other choice but to follow or else you will have a problem in many ways, so its your choice to follow or not, if you dont have anything to hide and you will not fo anything suspicious then just comply there's nothing wrong about it,. If your concern is your privacy because you will provide information, remember that you are already exposed by the time you connect to the internet and use social media; your information is already scattered.

Well at first the casino claims that they don't KYC at the beginning but in the ToS it is written that the casino can ask for your KYC at any time so this is clearly from their own judgment when you have problems and the casino investigates then eventually KYC is requested by them.

If in doubt I will move to another casino that does not KYC for small withdrawals, but so far it is still safe I do not do KYC for gambling because the reason behind it is small bets, what I think now is that when we bet a large amount and then win it then the usual monitoring by the team will be carried out which ultimately requires KYC to be done.

I prefer both KYC and non KYC casinos. What I follow is the reputation of the casino. If a casino is reputed I can use it. Another thing that I consider is the casino services. If the casino is excellent in both reputation and services, I can use it to gamble. There are still non KYC casinos but which might require KYC later. That is why reading the casino terms of service is very important.

The reason some people do not like KYC casinos is for their won privacy and not about a casino to be reputed or not. Stake.com requires KYC and it is a reputable casino. Livecasino does not require KYC to an extent and it is also reputed to the community on this forum.

I would prefer to trust those casino that requires kyc rather than those who doesn't have. On that perspective the confidence will be increased and trust issue will be gone. Sometimes our human instinct put our minds negatively, that's why we need to seek supporting proof in order to remove our worries and doubts as well.

Some maybe doesn't promote that since they have other good features need to highlight, so that they can make their casino look appealing to their potential costumers. Then its up for gambler to check then ask if there would be a chance that this KYC will be ask to them in future so that they would not get surprised if the casino would ask this or they just go directly to their TOS then read if there's written information regarding on this situation.

But for me as long as the casino is transparent regarding on the real situation if they ask KYC then its fine especially if they try make their platform became more compliant with the law. Same goes with non KYC compliant platform if they are transparent then there's no requirements ask if you read in there TOS then its more better since with them we can protect our identity. But we don't know if they can really run a legitimate business so the risk still high since we don't know if they turn into a scam casino or not.

I believe I would personally trust more a casino which enforces the Know your Client protocol than over one which does not. It would not necessarily mean the casino not enforcing it is shady or a scam, but for a casino to be registered in some serious jurisdiction and being licensed, it is required for them to ask for information of their gamblers.
In reality, anyone with a minimal budget can start a casino, anyone with enough knowledge of coding can start their casino bot on Telegram and put the initial bankroll from their own pocket. However, it is a completely different thing to comply with the regulations and security which are asked for some regulators of the casino to get a license.
When a casino gets a license is also relatively less likely the owner will pull the rug, get all the money of the gamblers who deposited and run away with it, without nobody knowing who he is and start a serious manhunt internationally.

In the end, that is what KYC is supposed to be about is sacrificing privacy exchange for a feeling of legitimacy brom the casino. Though, I am aware it is something which does not apply 100% of the cases.

I prefer the industry standard. I guess the days are gone for those casinos who does promote decentralized and anonymous gambling because the government does not allow it anymore. Although personally I like to gamble while maintaining my anonymity, but we have to accept the reality as that does not exist anymore now, if we are looking for something "safe", it should be attached to "regulated", which means casinos with license are much safer now.

KYC and no-KYC have nothing to do with my trust. To be completely honest, the Curacao license doesn't matter to me because it doesn't help me as a customer, it's a formal procedure for casinos to start a gambling business legally. Honesty matters to me. Bustabit didn't have a license and wasn't asking for KYC documents years ago (I don't know if they ask for KYC today) but they are one of the most trustworthy crypto casino since 2014.
What can you do if a casino with Curacao license tries to scam you? 1xBet is a good example and answer to the question that you can't do anything. That's why honesty matters for me the most and it takes years of existence and experience for casino.

If the question is that two strange casinos are given to me and I have to choose one (KYC VS non-KYC casino), I won't choose any of them. I only choose those that I know have been running their business without an issue.

I sincerely don’t care too much about them adhering to asking customers complete kyc verification or not what matters is them being reputable.

Even if a user completes his/her kyc verification it would still be easy for a shady casino to still come up with a clumsy excuse just to take the players money and the user won’t have anything to do against them. So it is better to move with a casino that has good reputation and has been known to settle customers disputes or problems with good outcome not one that just comes and dictates what the customer did without any real proofs that they did it.

If there is a casino that is legitimate and meet the requirements from variety of games which include sport betting then that would be my preference and if you are new these KYC has been strictly enforced on crypto casinos in the last 2-3 years before that most of them doesn't have mandatory KYC even though they might ask later for AML in case if they feel there is something suspicious. But now casinos are supposed to have license so the KYC becomes must that really doesn't give us any choice even for the casinos to implement the frameworks given by policy makers.

Lets just stop on saying that KYC is not a trademark for quality. Everything and everyone has a price, nobody is perfect, each of us are individual. A person can pass KYC, gamble on a popular casino, but still violate (maybe even unintentionally) a rules and get banned. First thing such person would do is to run on the internet and scream that casino is a scam. Personally I would trust the casino that has more clients. I believe that demand could be a trademark of trust in this case. However, I should always gamble with cautious.

Let's talk about KYC and non-KYC casinos. There are many casinos in the space, and probably most of them require KYC (Know Your Customer) since they hold a license. However, some do not promote that requirement. In fact, I've read comments mentioning that there are casinos which initially claim they don't require KYC but later do, based on their own judgment.

So, if we could find a casino that genuinely adheres to what they advertise (whether as a non-KYC or KYC casino), which one would we trust to gamble with? Additionally, if you have doubts, what are the risks you might be taking that could bother you while regularly gambling at such a casino?
KYC and no-KYC have nothing to do with my trust. To be completely honest, the Curacao license doesn't matter to me because it doesn't help me as a customer, it's a formal procedure for casinos to start a gambling business legally. Honesty matters to me. Bustabit didn't have a license and wasn't asking for KYC documents years ago (I don't know if they ask for KYC today) but they are one of the most trustworthy crypto casino since 2014.

Casino operates without an official license!

I agree that this casino is very popular since they have signature campaign in the forum before, not sure if they still maintain that popularity now for a casino that operates without a license.

There are things we can do since they have a license, so we know whom to complain to. Although 90% of gamblers probably don't pursue complaints because the expense of filing a case might exceed the compromised amount, in my opinion, it's still better to know the people behind the casino than to gamble at a completely anonymous one. However, I agree with you that reputation matters more, and reputable casinos have built their good reputations over time. Still, I'm not sure if gamblers who bet significant amounts of money would trust them over those with both a good reputation and a complete license.

Anyone we choose to use would depend on our own view of privacy. If someone knows that he obviously is not the type that is willing to give out his information through kyc to a casino then you can choose to go for the non kyc casino. To be sincere, I use both kyc and no kyc casino and though I know clearly that this would remove my privacy totally, I just had to make the decision at my own risk. Most casino you find today requires every user follow the kyc procedures just upon registeration. This I even prefer compared to those casino that would keep this a secret until a user is about withdrawing a large sum from their account then they make up stories of kyc just to prevent them from withdrawal.

Indeed, there have been several cases where the casino initially stated that it did not require KYC but after certain conditions occurred, such as customer who got big win, the casino suddenly asked for KYC for the withdrawal requirements for the winnings.
But not all casinos will be like this and I don't think KYC will really guarantee the security and trustworthiness of the casino, there are also some casinos that can still potentially do things that are detrimental to customers even though they implement KYC.

I never consider KYC as the main assessment in assessing and choosing trusted casino because basically trust will arise when the casino has proven its service and has very good reputation.
If the casino use is reputable one and has lots of loyal customers, then it certainly won't raise any doubts and whatever do will definitely be filled with sense of comfort without any worries about anything bad happening.

For me KYC or non-KYC doesn't really matter as long as the casino still has a good reputation in the eyes of gamblers and has been running for a long time with positive feedback. Meanwhile if you have to choose, non-KYC is a priority especially if the casino is a large casino, but due to tight competition and regulations that require casino to implement KYC in order to operate freely and with a license the casino will be to regulations and it is proven that more and more casinos are implementing KYC.
Regarding if I have doubts but am still curious then I will take the risk to continue gambling with minimal capital to find out to what extent these doubts can be proven.

I'll go to casinos that require me to undergo KYC, I'm more comfortable with casinos that are regulated and compliant I have no fear that the casino will be shut down by the authorities casinos that do not require their players to undergo verification are prone for money laundering and being used by scammers to transit their dirty money.

And I don't think casinos can remain or maintain their policy of not asking KYC because there will be a point where they need to verify whether their players are committing cheating or are not into money laundering, non-KYC is just a marketing ploy to attract more players, but casinos can easily change their policy.

We should trust the casino reputations because we only play gambling at the trusty casino that has good reputations, whether that casino is a non-KYC or KYC casino. If the casino has a good reputation, it will take care of its members and serve its members with good.
I have no problem if the casino is a non-KYC or KYC casino because I already play at many casinos out there. Still, that casino has a good reputation among the other casinos. Besides that, I don't use too much money to play gambling and only play gambling occasionally.
Many casinos now change into KYC casinos, especially after the government watched them run their business. We may see many casinos turn into KYC casinos in the future so we must understand how to use each casino.

Have KYC or NOT, what matters the most in choosing is the casinos that can deliver satisfaction to the customers because that is what we expect. But in the current situation where the government obliges them to ask KYC to their clients as mandatory that means that they are legally running their business. And it means that we are a little bit safer than those illegally operated.

I'm not sure if privacy is still a big concern for everyone and I accept the fact that complying with KYC is gonna be our life now. Nobody can escape when the government pushes it and that is how known and big casinos are asking for this in compliance with the government. Actually, these are the casinos we often visit.

Casino operates without an official license!

I agree that this casino is very popular since they have signature campaign in the forum before, not sure if they still maintain that popularity now for a casino that operates without a license.
That's not true, they have a Costa Rica license. Check their ToS - https://bustabit.com/tos
