The whole issue is for those countries to implement their election promises then the development of those countries will be a passed discussion. American government or other developed countries provide their election promises once election and not like the African counterparts that failed woefully after promised heaven and earth. After nthe election they would forget their promises and focus on foreign policies to destroy their economy. And in most time they took advise from the advanced country to devalue their economy thinking that things would be better but that is the worst ever.

Good example in my country which the current president thought he would do better than his predecessor and when the predecessor was in the government dollar exchange rate was 400 but now it is 1500. Things are getting worst. All because bad policies in the economy.

That's just not true. All countries prefer to deal with their own problems first. But that doesn't mean that everything needs to be fixed before you can help others. Because even if you would live in an island, it would be connected to rest of the world and affected by it.

Everything is connected and no one lives in a bubble/vacuum/isolation, but we breath the air of this same planet. We work and trade together so that no one country needs to do everything, and we depend on each other, in both our own countries and in the world. So it's everyone's interest to help keep some key regions more stable. We like to think that something on the other side of the world couldn't possible affect on us but it does. Especally so with global trade. Making world a little bit safer for everyone and helping sovereign nations to defend themselves from bullies for example, will help everyone in a long run.

Think of immigration for example, if you think that's a problem now, you might be in for surprise what global warming does to mass migration and agriculture.

It's all depends on the ideology of the present government. Taking example from the United States election some years ago between Donald trump and Hillary. The United States citizens saw Hillary as someone who was coming to become the president of the world while trump presented himself as a president coming to deal with the American problems first. The reason for his slogan, "make America great again".

However it is pertinent that we understand that no country works in isolation. Everyone needs collaboration to succeed. When you have abundant you need to help people that do not have. Talking and instance from the American you mentioned, do not also remember that America is considered the world power. It is not only about them but about other countries. If you think that paying attention to other countries you make them lose power, you are making a huge mistake. Many of the powers controlling the politics of nation uses inter nation conflict or foreign relation as a way of justifying their domestic failure.
Take an example of US, the country is disintegrating from the inside and even though legally its a democracy, it's already turned into an oligarchy. They gets involved in conflicts around the world just at taxpayers money which gets collected mostly by those oligarchs.

I partially agree, and it is because it is true that in order for a country to intervene internationally in the businesses of other republics, it is necessary for them to have a strong economy and a good accumulation of diplomatic leverage and in some cases it would require them to even have a good and well trained military and intelligence community at the reach of their hands. what has US done for other countries before doing for themselves? If any developing country is getting $100k worth of help from the US, it literally means that they've solved 1 billion worth of problems for themselves. The security aids forign countries get from the United state is too small compaired to the resource the USA has put in place to ensure that they are protected from external agents.

And for other developed countries, it's not true that they aren't helping those developing countries in the same guise that the USA is reaching out in rendering an helping hands to people. Since everything in this life has time and when the time comes for it to happen nothing will stop it from happening. Also when the expiry date comes, no matter what you do to make it function it will only be getting worse. Until you take the necessary and requires steps. That's by either accept the fact that your time has expired  and quickly change the direction or by admitting that there's no more options. It is debatible whether the United States is actually the best country on the planet or not. I personally would rather to move to other countries which have things which the United States lacks of, like Universal healthcare, for example.
Though, I believe that mindset in reality does not have anything to do with pragmatism but rather it is something which is repeated once and once again by family members and school mates, so many times a children can grow up believing the United States is the best, even though they are completely ignorant on the culture and politics of other countries.

The people of USA have been telling their government to look out on their own rather than roaming outside their territories. There's so much to solve on their own country, inside them rather than going on with the affairs of other countries. It's true with Russia and China, they're more focused to their countries. I don't like their political system but what their leaders does inside them is more focused to their own economy for which what other countries should do.

It's all about political powers, influence, money, territories and reputation. If all of the countries in the world are just going to get to agree with what they have for their own policies, we may not have any conflict at all. But then, even the old periods and and ancient times, there has been disputes and each political leaders have their own way of dealing things. However, I think your research needs further researching regarding the internal policies and decision making of the US government. So far, I've never seen any government in the world that is as committed as the US government in securing the lives of its citizens and delivering promises made, I stand to be corrected though. Do your research, you'll observe that Russia and China that you just mentioned earlier are also grossly involved in external matters as the US, for instance, Russia's involvement in Africa and other parts of the world. I won’t blame USA that much for most of the countries that feel weak and assume they’re under the watch of USA and cannot stand against them. It’s just global power and any country that wish to be under another can become one when they begin to ask them for help into even things they can come together and solve. Delving into problems that can be solved by themselves and not by anyone, or doing more than their means.

This is a very serious case study that Russia and China have understood and decided to stay clear off the affairs that will make them look disrespectful or answerable to another country because they’ve sold their integrity. This is the 21st century and nothing can be hidden under the sun again. Countries should try and source for the possible best solutions to their countries problem instead of settling for help from another country.
