Why you want to rank up in the forum?

I then realized earning was not that a big problem as bounties were a big thing in my time. Even after working for bounties, getting ranked up was a big challenge, so I started focusing on my skills. I am not a developer, still I made it with my skills of writing.

Everyone who has interest and perseverance like you can reach rank up. no matter how long it takes to achieve it, if we have a definite goal, we will find comfort in being on the forum.
campaigns sometimes create pressure, whether it's a signature campaign or a bounty campaign. they are required to do tasks that may not be in accordance with their objectives. and it does have to involve adjustments and learning for all members.

In forums, some can't get out of habits that they may have focused on since they first joined the forum. every day just doing social media bounty work. they will ignore the information or knowledge in the forum because their goal is only for bounties.
you share an interesting story for everyone who might be pessimistic about being able to move up the rankings.

Well, if not reaching the top what then is my aim ? since I came in here I saw the sentiment with a newbies opinion and the level of regard for a legend. I think that's a trigger to strive for the highest position.

When I used the BPIP I felt so eagerness to make a reputation here because from the list in bpip, the reputation matters alot and that's why I really want to rank up and also be amongst the people that matters.

Yes, but of course, also put in the work. We see a lot of low ranks with near-zero merit with hundreds in activity — whereas all they do is post and post just hoping to receive at least a single merit; refusing to address the actual problem — the lack of knowledge. A lot of them simply refuse to educate themselves for some reason.

Sometimes they request for dozens of resources to get knowledge but never make use of the links presented to them, this is usually my biggest sadness about such people.

What I think is that the higher the rank in the forum, the more important he or she is in the forum. Not only his importance but also his reliability is more. If a Legendary member says something, everyone will believe it more than a newbie. Also rank up is very important to participate in signature campaign.

When I was a Full Member I was probably earning more in BTC because the price was lower. By the time I reach hero or legendary, the Bitcoin price will probably have gone up even more and I will be earning less than what I am now as a Sr. Member. The difference in pay rate doesn’t motivate me very much in trying to get a higher rank. I’m fine where I’m at right now because I’m not trying to make a quick profit from my earnings. I will hold most of my BTC for a long time, during which I expect it will appreciate in value.

What he said is not actually true since knowledge is not all about the rank in the forum. There are newbie account users which have excellent knowledge about bitcoin and crypto than those who have legendary account in this forum. Its so absurd that they make the ranking of the account as basis of intelligence since not all the time they know everything.

Also common reason why people want to rank is to join on the campaigns and get the high rate per post. Because of that a lot of people exert a lot of people to create good post so that they can earn merit then rank up. But for people doesn't care about that they just come and go then get back here when there's important topic that need to discuss this is the reason why we see their account still in low rank.

To hell with the signature campaign, even if the signature campaign didn't exist, i would still be here, this forum is a forum created by Satoshi and there are lots of great people with great thoughts here too.

This is the only forum where you can earn Satoshi's for what you write, do not let your emotions jeopardize your earning capabilities. There are a lot of good posters with high ranks that are now out of the signature campaign because of various reasons, they will be willing to replace you if your campaign manager thinks to replace you after this reply of yours.

I was a newbie a few months ago, and currently i have learned more about bitcoin because of this forum, the only reason i want to go to a higher ranking is because i want to know how much influence i can have for this forum, how much my knowledge about bitcoin is great and how many people i can help with the knowledge i get.

Everyone was once a newbie and slowly they went up the ranks. What you are saying is known by everyone who has been in this forum. What matters is how much time it took to be in that position and how much patience a newbie has to undergo. There is a myth that in this forum you will get knowledge, the forum was once the epitome of knowledge now most of the time it is all about discussion. You can get more knowledge in 2024 when you do a Google search with their own AI.

Obviously I want to rank up because I see in order to participate in signature campaign that pays good require at least Full Member, the higher your rank, the higher possibility someone can earn more. If signature campaign wasn't my objective, I would take off my signature and join WO gangs.

I do like writing, but I do value my effort and time I spent.

Only few people in this forum can boldly say this. People are shying away from this reality but we normally see people's reactions when campaign end including those who claimed they are not after signature. Quite alright, some people don't bother about being in a campaign or not but sincerely speaking, people's activity drop when they are not involved in a campaign.

I want to rank up my account so I can be among high calibers. In every society, people with high rank and tittle are being accorded respect and take part in decision making. High rank members opinions are are quickly noticed and valued than a lower ranks.

In my opinion, the Rank up system of this forum is to show one's ability, the higher the ability, the higher the rank and not everyone gets this ability, to get the merit, you have to make yourself qualified first, you have to know everything, those who are wise. They can post the best quality and they are the most qualified, and their rank is also higher. Starting from zero to the current rank seems like a long journey full of excitement. I can't forget the first feeling when I received my first merit. My belief was merit is not free. But when I receive one it changes my mindset. I started to learn more via the local community and then started to learn about BTC and relevant technologies, like Blockchain, and Wallet. I did not step into the gambling section as for me they are not good side hustles but no offense if you find them good, It's your choice.

I am into trading, airdrop hunting, and writing, at the moment due to crypto, and due to this forum, I am facing my daily expenses thanks to this forum. My time here was all fun, currently, I am also stuck at this rank don't know why but the laziness is somewhere in me that I am not contributing to enough to get rank fast. The journey is not easy but it's very exciting so keep working you only have to give some time of your day in here and you will learn a lot (newbies or normies).

But unfortunately, we often see newcomers who come to the forum with the sole purpose of earning money, although if you search on the Internet, the forum has not identified itself as such a place. The problem is, that most newbies don't understand that it's a steady process and it needs to be taken that way. You can't join the forum, start making posts, and see yourself going up in the ranks immediately. Even to become a good enough poster to start getting merits, you need some time and that time must be put into learning how things work and what should and shouldn't be done in the forum.

Not being able to make constructive and quality posts and then getting frustrated and angry for not getting merits is not the way to do it. When you want to achieve something, you will need to put in some effort for it, and if you are not putting in any effort, you can't blame anyone but yourself for not reaching the destination you wish to reach.

OP your aspiration should be an almost same goal of everyone who are craving to rank up. Perhaps there had been multiple newbies whom had curiously been complaining on how they do not receive merits on their posts even when they are doing there best.

So stay quite long in the forum and contributing to your best when merits is not flowing to rank you to the next level and you have attained a long margin of post actually feels like.... You think you are doing things at your best but it all feels rubbish.

It actually feels discouraging and most especially when you see your mayes ranking and you are just stagnant. So it is kinda challenging and mentally draining when you have been here for long and activities like signature campaigns would be opened for a specific rank but you can not participate simply because your rank is not up to it.

I was first introduced to gambling being part of a gambling signature campaign. I loved it and decided to learn how gambling works in cryptocurrency. Lost a little amount while learning then decided to venture into sports betting.

I am making a decent extra earning with sports betting and now I have been working on trading. Life doesn't give you success on a plate and that is how my trading part is working for me.

Ultimately, I would like to say to everyone new to the forum. Believe in yourself and believe in what you can achieve. In some time you will see yourself where I am.

someone like me that hasn't earned a single merit yet truly has a long way to go and looking at the number of merit you've accumulated so far, it almost seems like an impossible hight to reach as a member of this forum. But this is a motivation I have to hold on to in knowing that once upon a time, you where once like me and maybe didn't know most things like myself and that you've grown to this hight only means that if I put in the discipline and dedication, I will also grow past this level in the form.

Aprt from deciding to learn and grow gradually, are there special things that you did differently from others that might have started this journey with you at the time you joined the forum but couldn't continue up till now?  Personally, I don't think I'm in a rush to rank up but that doesn't mean I won't like to rank up because there's this recognition you get when you've attained a certain level in this forum. Believe it or not, even if there's peeps who say we are all here to learn and we should be regarded equally and all, there is still a certain form of clique around.
Dunno if I'm the only one who has observed this pattern; when a newbie opens a thread that is of good quality, but the grammar isn't structured right, it becomes hard for higher ranked members like say senior or full members to reply until a hero or legendary member does so. This means thid group I mentioned regard the response of the higher ranked users more than the poster of the topic.
 I would like to rank up not only for the possibility of having a form of preferential treatment by being a legendary member but also to show an indication that I'm growing and that my input here is being noticed.
