Why you want to rank up in the forum?

I think your experience could serve as a motivation to lower ranking members especially to someone like me who takes my time to learn from senior ranking members and get motivated by their achievements, including mode of writing and constructing posts, it's every members dream to get to the highest rank.

 However, I'm not in a rush, cause I've noticed that rushing to rank up or earn more merits to rank up could cause one to make mistakes that could end them in a mess, so I'm not in a haste, I'm dedicating my time in learning more about the forum, it's a very big space and I think there's more to be learnt so why rush to rank up when I'm still yet to understand the forum better.

 

Oyess, the free will to learn from others is another name for personal growth.....
The experiences of high ranking members are bedrock with which low ranking members should hang on....

The rush for rank up is one major discouragement. with rank up rush in mind, before you know it u're off and tired about the forum for days even....

This is much that I know why I would want to rank up on the Bitcointalk.org forum clearly because of these several beneficial reasons:

• Monetary Opportunities-Signature Campaigns: Higher-ranked members can participate in paid signature campaigns, earning higher cryptocurrency for their posts than lower ranked.(For me, this is one of my best ways to earn when I was starting up without spending.)
• Credibility and Trust-Higher Reputation: As you rank up, you gain credibility within the community. Higher-ranking members are generally seen as more trustworthy and knowledgeable, except of course those with negative ratings. (if you message as a newbie there will even be a warning to the recipient)
• Trust Privileges: Other users are more likely to trust your posts, advice, and opinions. (my opinion based on what I see in the forum)
• Influence: Your opinions and posts can have a greater impact on discussions and community decisions.
• Access to Features-Enhanced Features: Higher ranks often unlock additional forum features, such as the ability to use a signature, post images, or access certain sections of the forum.
• Job Offers: You might receive job offers or project invitations due to your recognized expertise and active participation.
• Recognition and Respect-Community Respect: Higher ranks command respect, and other users may look up to you as a leader or authority in the field.

Although some might not agree with me, this is only my opinion on why I want to rank up.

The second question is real, why do you go to school from elementary to tertiary level, what is the answer for each person, is school a rule, an obligation or a necessity for society, so that you become an established person in your own environment or life.

This forum has rules and requirements for all members to become more established from basic/beginner level to Legend level, that's all the demands for all members here, In this way, other people will judge that the knowledge they have developed here about Bitcoin or crypto and so on is better than others, it's impossible for everyone here to be stupid, This is impossible, based on the ranking that has been determined by this forum, it will be a guide that certain members are smart and expert in their field, that is the priority of ranking.

To hell with the signature campaign, even if the signature campaign didn't exist, i would still be here, this forum is a forum created by Satoshi and there are lots of great people with great thoughts here too.

I was a newbie a few months ago, and currently i have learned more about bitcoin because of this forum, the only reason i want to go to a higher ranking is because i want to know how much influence i can have for this forum, how much my knowledge about bitcoin is great and how many people i can help with the knowledge i get.

Mind the choice of word you use dude, it doesn't call for that. I know growing to this your position wasn't easy and I know you have pass through a lot which everyone does and many are still passing through it as we speak you may not have benefited from signature compaign but I believe most people start from there before they get to the point they are now. Moreover, I don't think your initial plan is to rank to a higher position to know how much influence you will be to the forum and how many people you can help with your knowledge though your ideas are very nice but the reason why most people want to rank up to higher position is because of standing a chance to apply for a better project. I will be happy to see your dream come through and i hope you don't change when you get there because human being are full of surprises.

Of course, it's not entirely true cause some low-ranked members can create attention with their exceptional technical skills but I am not that kind of intellect, I am just an average Joe who is trying to contribute in any way I can and legendary is the highest rank that a user can achieve (for now) so it's always on my goal list sooner or later I am on the journey towards it but not making it in a hurry or desperate to get merits in all these years.

I will agree on you. Not all high-ranked members received the same recognition than those highly reputable and well known in the forum. In fact, there are even those newbies who outperformed those in higher ranks, not to mention their well constructed post and high quality composition. That only proves that regardless of your rank or position in the forum, when it comes to posting performance, one who is more knowledgeable and well-informed receives more recognition and appreciation than those who’s performance is only at an average level.

I think I wan to count my growth in the forum not by ranking growth but by the amount of knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrency entirely that  I have been able to gather from when I joined the forum to this day and still going. Am sure merits could be earned from discussions not surrounding bitcoin generally, it could be from politics or other conventional discusses but it should be much satisfying for me that my ranking up does also equate my bitcoin knowledge. There should be some balance.

What I am trying to say is this isn't entirely about being part of signature campaign, even though if there is no signature campaign I would say my goal will be achieving the legendary cause it's a symbol that only certain people can achieve, not talking about pre merit system era but since that it's rare and only handful people managed to achieve.

It's more on dedication, its rare because it takes time or years to achieve it, knowledge to share via topic/replies. And yes, there are only few legendary members get that rank after the merit system was introduced.

As a lower ranked member, I actually wanted to rank up because I didn't want to be called a failure. If my mates are ranking up, why won't I?
I do take note of the users who registered same month with me and make sure they aren't doing better than me by ranking up before I did. This might not be the best practice but it was actually what I was doing and that mindset kept me motivated to keep moving till today.

Everyone loves growth and that is why everyone strives to grow. Forum growth will not only earn you some respect but also build your reputation, as older members seem reputable than newer members.

I am making a decent extra earning with sports betting and now I have been working on trading. Life doesn't give you success on a plate and that is how my trading part is working for me.

I have always have the notion or courage that the journey of a thousands miles begins with a  step, I believe in persistent and striving to never give up on ones set out goals and objectives but working towards achieving such goals and objectives, there can be storms on the road but overcoming them is a lead way, every successful man today must have a success storyline to tell, there must be a plan and another important thing is to work towards achieving it, I know every other higher rank members started the same way and believe one day I will there too it is only a matter of time and consistency, the good thing is that I have joined.

In every aspect of life everyone wants to get promoted just like everyone wants to get promoted in bitcoin forum account.  The main reason to expect this is that as the rank increases, the payment rate in Signature campaigns increases.  Everyone wants pay rate to increase with promotion. No one would have tried to get promoted on this forum if the forum had not paid for promotion.

It’s like working on a job, you need promotion to experience progress in what you’re doing and to stay highly motivated as well. Seeing your rank leveling up is a good indication that you are doing well in the forum, and that you are doing it positively.

While it can be a good signal that you’re now capable to participate in signature campaigns and become well compensated, ranking up also marks that you’re taking some growth and development in the forum, one thing that any member should see it as an essential, otherwise you will left forever in a low position because you never goal for something higher and something more valuable.

As a human, you are meant improve in things you do, that's why most of the times it hurts when someone is not improving. The purpose of improvement is achieving, when you are achieving success you are also improving. I don't judge whether it was true or not, but exposes a very human feeling which consists in feeling that your work is valued by others. In that sense, merits would be the equivalent in this forum, so yes, many people are here for the money, and want to rank up for the money, but I dare to say that, in most cases, not only.

If someone is contributing to the forum, making good posts, getting a lot of merits, and ranking up, he deserves every bonus or benefit he is going to get for that rank because he worked hard to earn that rank, but if someone does that by cheating the system, and doing no hard work, then there can be a question whether they deserve it or not.

 Who wouldn't want to rank up? Even in schools, every students dream is to move to the next class, in ompanies as well each workers do their best to get promoted, so i think it applies to the forum too, that's why you see people cracking their brains everyday to come up with quality posts that would fetch them merits so they'll move to the next rank.

 Also, the fact that the forum comes up with job opportunities for people answers your question, there are lots of people in this forum that comes from societies where there are no or less jobs opportunities therefore when they come across such forum and see that it offer them opportunities to work an earn asides learning about Cryptocurrency at large then they'll do their very best to rank up to the level that they can join campaigns.

 Another thing is that every newbies get motivation seeing other ranking members putting on the signature and avatar and would be motivated by them to do better and get to the rank that requires them to do that. Ranking up shows you're doing better cause I believe the merits given that requires one to rank up could tell so.

That's common question we could able to see here and its sad that those newbies didn't bother to search this information since they could easily locate those existing threads tackling this discussions. Also for sure that they could able to learn a lot from past discussion rather creating new ones since he just provably receive a generic answers from people.

Common goals for people why they want to rank up is the signature campaigns in this forum. Some fine it hard to achieve because it will take years for some other people to reach their desired rank especially that merits is not easy to earn. Some people quit because they can't wait and exert to much effort that long and there are some people who spend a lot of effort because they believe that someday they provably could achieve what they want in this forum. If newbies will not only look for this things and widen up their knowledge about crypto for sure that they could figure out that there are lots of opportunity they can get from this forum.

Newbies  should focus on increasing their knowledge rather than thinking about promotion. Promotion alone will not make you famous. Promotion cannot work with Enhanced Signature campaigns. Increasing your knowledge is more important than promotion. You don't have to worry about promotion if you care about increasing knowledge. Knowledgeable posts will earn you merit. Merit must be given to qualified people in this forum. Everyone respects wise people. By increasing knowledge you can become a reputable person and join advanced signature campaigns.
