These are the same thoughts I've already written about migration in other articles, but now in a more generalized form. I've decided to distill my thoughts into an article.
The idea of ​​migrating to another blockchain periodically comes up in forum discussions. This idea arises in various contexts. Sometimes it's an attempt to revitalize the ecosystem and energize the community, sometimes it's criticism of the blockchain hosting the token (in our case, the TON token).
I've written many forum posts on this topic, criticizing such ideas as ill-considered and, in most cases, generally dangerous to the ecosystem. However, I also acknowledge that in some cases (force majeure), we'll likely be forced to do so. But first things first.
What do we mean by migrating to another blockchain? This means two things:
1. Completely abandon and stop supporting the current smart contract on the old blockchain (TON), and
2. Create a new smart contract on the new blockchain and attempt to transfer all resources—holders and liquidity—to it.
I will list all the disadvantages and difficulties of migration.
1. First, the very need for migration is often far-fetched and inspired by superficial reasons.
2. Second, choosing a new blockchain is not easy. There is a high probability that consensus will not be achieved, and a split will occur in the community. For example, some will want to migrate to Ethereum, some to Solana, some to Tron, and still others somewhere else. A split and the loss of a portion of the community is a significant drawback.
3. There are no perfect blockchains, and the option that gains the majority will also be imperfect in some ways and even inferior to the old one in some ways. It's entirely possible that someone will want to migrate to another blockchain soon. A few irresponsible migrations will likely kill the project completely.
4. It's important to understand that it won't be possible to completely transfer resources from the old blockchain. Some resources will remain locked in the old smart contract. For example, we have many burned LP tokens on the DeDust exchange.
5. Many holders will be unwilling to migrate or too lazy to do so. Some holders are "dust holders"—those who don't see the economic viability of migrating because their tokens are worth less than the commission or comparable to it.
6. The migration mechanism itself can be either via a bridge or by burning tokens on the old blockchain and issuing new tokens proportionally on the new blockchain. This is a fairly centralized process and will be fraught with errors, conflicts, and resource loss. The project relies on enthusiasm, and it's very difficult to carry out this work without economic incentives.
7. Departing from the old blockchain would mean a complete loss of all the work the active community invested time and money into. All the work that was done to build the community (token creation, manual airdrops) becomes meaningless.
8. Frequent blockchain changes indicate a poorly thought-out project philosophy and a lack of healthy conservatism. I'll discuss this in a future article.

I have seen the Chamby airdrops several times but I decided not to participate because free money is not valued especially by airdrop freaking dudes. They are always ready to open their mouth and eat what they don't even know how it manifested. I am 100% full support of Chamby community!

Airdrops are not always only about free money. They are about attracting attention. We organized CHAMBY giveaway to let forum members know that we had created the token in the first place at. And the people who took part in the airdrops at least generated addresses to receive the tokens there. Without airdrops only a few would have done this, because very little usually happens based solely on personal initiative, most people need external motivation.

Airdrops are free which is how it is meant to be but nowadays, it rare to see airdrops that are distributed  from free to participants.
From my experience with telegram airdrops, participants are often asked to donate Tons or telegram Stars worth reasonable amount of money before there can be eligible for the airdrops. Worst of it, you can deposit the Tons or telegram Stars and still not get the airdrop. Chamby token is far transparent given out airdrop compared to telegram because Chamby airdrop gives out for free to participants and if Hodl over the long term, it will increase in value.

I'm still surprise that we have not surpass 525, we have been in this number for some time now, their are some people in this thread that has not started accumulating maybe because they are waiting to start accumulating on the accumulation day because some have PM me to ask for the date, please I need us to understand that everyday is an accumulation day for chamby token we are only celebrating 20th of every month as our chamby accumulation and that those not mean we can't accumulate the token any other day we want to, the accumulation day is done to create more awareness in the forum and outside the forum, any day you feel like accumulating is great.

It is bad that a post that was posted on Chamby token's X account is getting low traffic when there are so many people here that are supporting Chamby token. We need to repost this post on our walls because people who are holding Chamby token can decide to gift someone Chamby token if they see the post, and Chamby token holders will increase by one or two depending on how many people gift Chamby token to people. I was not active in the forum for close to two days, so i did not know there was a new post on Chamby token's X account, but i will react to the new post after i drop this post.

Very impressive ideas you have put up here I have read through your post on the chamby social media handles and have also followed and liked it  I know for sure that this post on the social media handles will definitely attract people to really looking into what chamby token really stands for, the goal and where it driven to but let's not also forget that if this things are not well spelt out on chamby token handle it could not be taken seriously. We have a lot of crypto guys that are members in this forum, so wearing Chamby token signature and avatar and posting in different boards and threads will surely help Chamby token gain more visibility in the forum, which can probably attract more investors to Chamby token. There is an opening for member rank to advertise Chamby token for free in the forum, so you are eligible to wear the signature and avatar of Chamby token when you are fully ready for that, but you should wear the signature and avatar now that your signature space is free.
