Availing the trial version for 30 is the best way if he will just use it for temporary use only or find someone in the forum who can sell a licensed with discounted price if he wants to use it long term.

What can OP do? OP is a student and I think that OP is smart enough to know that they should never put anything sensitive or confidential in that device if they're going to put in a cracked version of something there, it's probably for the best that they're going to do that, there's also the fact that the trial version won't be enough because it's only 30 days and I think that OP will be using AutoCAD for more than just 30 days. I know that it's risky but as I said, it's a matter of necessity and being tight on budget.

do not turn off av. if it sees a threat you need to quarantine this and go for another torrent . which should be several years in action
on windows you can also run open hardware monitor to see real load on cpu. i've seen they stop mining when you run task manager

Probably the worst advice you can give a member. Getting "cracked" software versions from GetIntoPC and Torrents will increase your risk of having your PC getting exposed to malware. I have seen several complaints about cracked or Modded software. The hackers or crackers and sneak in malware into the app, and you won't even know.

OP might even end up losing way more than the subscription he was trying to avoid

don't know the region you're based in but if the place is close to an engineering campus, you could get into with the lab technician and have it installed for you. In my college days, we installed it directly from school because of how unsafe it is getting a cracked version from the net.  Most guys that are into any typical design course usually have it on thier system and you can check it out from them. I had mine on my device but since I wasn't using the device, I gave it out to a relative who's far from me at the moment. Maybe someone might be able to help here.

Hi there, I have been an Autocad (Autodeskt) user since 2018, and got it on a cracked version, if you want to have it I will send you the web address but don't blame me for anything bad that happens on your PC. I will try to help you out, thought since you maybe need it, I am just forwarding the deed as I was in your situation back then. I know what is feel like in your shoes, with having to have a licensed one is difficult as it may require you certain amounts of money.

The link that will send you is a forum one, with lots of tools in there, not just only autocadd, however the users are in Filipino but no need to worry as there is google translate for you. I will post it in here if it is allowed, just let me know, or I can dm it to you directly.

Not always, I have Solid works running fine and as far as I remember I didn't need to switch of the AV at the time of installation.
