I revealed my user profile to someone it contained Covered up email and UID is it bad? Or is something fine to reveal?

If you revealed your email and user ID to someone, there is nothing bad about it. I think the person want to send your coins? Be it that it not, there is nothing to be worried about.

What you should not reveal is your password.

Make sure you use 2FA.

A covered up email and UID shouldn't worry you except maybe for the sake of privacy but anything a side from that, there is no way he is going to attack your account or steal your funds. Just make sure you implement all the security measures on your account, most especially 2-factor authentication

No the UID was not covered is that sensitive Bybit info? I wanted someone to help with withdrawals and by mistake sent profile section and not main screen

Not too "sensitive" as such.
Other than the person knowing that you own an account with UID xxxxx. There is nothing much more they will know about the account or what is in the account wallets unless if you decided to show them everything.

Not really. If it's just the UID, there's no problem with that. The problem is that if you've revealed more sensitive information like your username/login and password. Other than that, don't be paranoid that you've revealed your UID to him, who knows if he'll send you some money using your UID. And if you haven't done so, activate your 2FA.

If you want to receive coins from a friend using the same exchange, you can  send the person your email or user ID. The person does not even need to be your friend, it can be anybody that you want to receive coins from.

Username does not means. Password is what that should be hidden. And also 2FA should  be enabled. I can see my username for my sub account in Bybit but it is email for my main account, no username.

Yeah, it means nothing if it's only a username and that's why I've said that if it's with the password. So, for OP, he shouldn't really matter at all as showing the UID is also the same as showing his username that any person won't be able to access his account without his consent. But I guess no one who's in his right mind that's going to show his password freely on someone on the internet.

Unless you revealed your password [account password or email password] you are safe. I believe they have 2FA too. Add that feature too. I do not see you have anything to worry.

If I understand you correctly, you revealed your real UID but with a fake account email address? Well, for me, revealing your UID may not be an issue as we think if you are dealing with a small amount of money in there and the person you are dealing with is practically no threat. But if you have a sizable amount or plan to have it that you intend to keep and the revelation is to a stranger online/offline, then I suggest you should seek the right advice from Bybit itself.

This can't be taken lightly, and recently, Binance warned about revealing UID as requested by one of these platforms planning to give an airdrop. They deem it as sensitive, so it is not wise to reveal it.

At this point, I suggest you activate all the account security measures and make sure that with 2FA like the Google authentication used do not receive the code with the same gadget you have the Bybit app installed.
