mine was a serious bid based on recent kialara sales not ones from 7-8 years ago when BTC was under 1k
and no disrespect is being given by those here.

Sir If you have looked at recent kialara even if you want to play in USD as I stated one of the most recent sales of one of these pieces went for $23,000 and as stated they've increased a lot in value since then. Please don't take this as disrespect but I would appreciate it if you looked at current market prices first.

your examples were 7-8 years old and if you take the bitcoin from then and get its value now - then yes, the price would be that high. But that isn't how it works. Except in rare cases, no one buying collectibles for BTC will be able to sell it for more BTC when they sell it.

Where did one sell for such an amount? Reference please. He might be talking about this kialara silver that sold as a charity auction: https://scarce.city/auctions/kialara-for-a-causeThere have been some golds that sold over there... I thought for more than 10k.

I thought for more than 10k. Maybe, but I wouldn't use that as a metric to gauge pricing. People will bid much more on a charity auction knowing the proceeds are going to a good cause rather than a single person pocket. And no gold have sold there according to their data. Here are the 9x Kialaras auctions that have sold on Scare: Ricky Allman - $1800 Soul of Satoshi - $800 Moon Suite (RAFFLE) 3x bars - $5900 Kialara/CG coin suite 3x coins - $3500 Silver - $7900 Original - $3300 Soul of Satoshi - $1300 Gold - $9700 Silver - $3600 **EDIT: These are all current fiat prices, as Scarce has dynamic pricing in terms of fiat value**

Completely agree- charity auctions are a terrible bellwether for asset pricing. You can have a kitkat bar that sells at a NY charity auction for leukemia for 10k, doesnt mean the price of kitkat's just skyrocketed

based on the number (#33) it is the same one. the one you linked sold for .16 on july 11, 2021 - when BTC high was 34,275 - so for .16 = approx $5500 in USD value at the time of sale. again - very rare (unless btc price change takes a huge dive) will anyone sell something paid with Bitcoin for more Bitcoin. They will get less Bitcoin but the USD value will be higher.

Wow- just realized that the final price at the top of a completed scarce auction is NOT the converted price in fiat at time of sale. Its the price it sold in btc converted to todays price in fiat. That seems completely counter-intuitive to me. This does explain why i thought it sold for more than 10k and now it appears it didnt! haha Thanks for pointing this out mopar.

Tough love, you will not get 1 BTC here for that piece. With the dip in BTC recently, possibly .1, but likely even less than that. Super rare Cas unfunded pieces did not even fetch close to that. Your listing on Scarce should be an indicator of that with no bids. I would expect an auction here to land somewhere in the .05 - .1 range final price, but more power to you if you get more than that. GLWS, cool piece nevertheless.

If you want to sell at that high of a price you should be on ebay. You may find someone new and uninformed to pay a high amount. The forum is not the place. The people here know these products backwards and forwards. They have been dealing with kialara since day one. Many of them good friends with max directly. Everyone here hopes you can sell this piece for 1 btc. We all own kialara and want you to be successful. Best of luck with your sale.
