Thank you for your replies!
I did a quick research and I found multiple articles dating back to 2023 talking about a partnership between maverick.game and pinnacle solution. So, I think pinnacle is their odds provider.
It seems like you are right, it is indeed Pinnacle supplying their odds. Too bad the main Pinnacle sportsbook is not available for me due to my geographic location, same reason as to why I prefer to stick to crypto sites.
Now I just need to find a decent crypto betting site that also uses Pinnacle as an odds provider. Thank you!
@JinKuang, I'm just curious, so I would like to ask. How can you compare this certain sportsbook in terms of odds to the popular ones like Sportsbet and Stake?
My quick go-to-method to check is to compare their "even money odds" bets (Over/Under, Handicaps) and see how much fees they are taking.
Based on my own experience and the specific markets that I play with:
Even Money Odds (closer to [2.00/2.00] the better)
- Sportsbet.io - On ave. [1.89/1.89]*, Popular Markets [1.94/1.94]
- Stake.com - On ave. [1.90/1.90]*, Popular Markets [1.92/1.92]
- Maverick Games - On ave. [1.93/1.93]*, Popular Markets [1.96/1.96]
*Just my own baseline and not a hard rule, sometimes Sportsbet/Stake offers higher odds on certain bets compared to Maverick.
As you can see Maverick's odds really gives you a definite edge on pure odds without taking into account each sportsbook's promotions.
Taking promotions into account between Sportsbet and Stake, I usually bet Over/Under & Handicaps on Sportsbet and 1x2 Winner/Props/Misc on Stake.
If you are looking for a new sports betting platform, try Blackjack.Fun or Sportsbet.io. They are both reputable online casinos with sports betting support.
Since their odds provider is most probably Pinnacle, I suggest checking out Fairlay who copy Pinnacle odds 1:1 and it's still a decent site despite their recent accusations.
I'll check them out. Thanks!
