From $30 free bet to $168

I won $30 free bet on Sportsbet prediction contest. I used it to gamble and won over $55.




I wanted to withdraw it but the minimum withdrawal is 0.001 BTC while I had 0.000905 BTC. I went at ones for roulette with almost all the money and I won $168.34.



It was a free bet. So I do not that care about it but I went for nice matches which I have high chance to win but loss is still highly possible. I could lose with casinos games but I won the single pick when I was playing roulette.

If I am very careful and I do not want to lose the money, I would have likely lost the money. But when I do not that care I won it. Thanks to jeremypwr and Sportsbet for the free bet.

Why havent you decided to make a small deposit and wait for hours or a day, to make your balance more than 0.001 BTC and withdraw ? You could have spend a dollar to pay with transaction, instead of risking $55. I think that in this kind of situation, it wasnt worth risking, or at least you would not have played all-in on roulette.

But this is still gambling and we play with probability, and it doesn't favor us. You got a decent amount for a free bet, good for you, and it's nice that you were able to grow that amount. Sportsbet is one of my favorite sportsbooks. I had some free bets in the past, but not as big as that, maybe because I'm not joining much in the competitions. When I get a free bet, I usually go big by betting on a parlay, but unfortunately for me, my luck hasn't arrived yet.

I have not won up to that before. If the money is becoming what I can not afford to lose, I stop gambling. The higher the odd the higher the the risk. But you are very lucky to win up to that before. But I have won up to 250x before from free spin.

All games are risky. I could have lost it also while gambling with roulette. Also I might have won the money if I chose other games. Only how I can know is if I have also won in other games.

The free bet that I won from 1mbtc freebet to 9mbtc was from multi sports betting over 5 matches then I was lucky enough to win it afterwards withdrawing all of it securing the winnings.

Currently I am still unlucky a few times getting freebets from jeremypwr and Steve ended up losing. Lol Euro matches are indeed difficult to predict now.

Now the weird thing about gambling is that with a smaller amount of money you will easily catch big odds because
you didn't care much, but the second you choose to play with the small odds  thinking they are a safe bet and use big money it's a guaranteed burst...this I don't understand

OP since you are on Sportsbet, try go for the betbuilder its much easy to play...like Lukaku shots on goal over 1+, KDB shots on target 1+ and perhaps an over 1.5 yellow cards for Ukraine.

Why is it always like that? When we don't care about the money, that's when we win. I guess the less pressured we are the better we make decisions.

That's not true, you were just lucky to win. I don't think you won because you didn't care because I have lost many times when I don't care about my bets. I guess you were careless about the bet because you raised money from the Sportsbet prediction contest. So the money didn't come from your income but from a lucky win. You can easily be careless with such funds because you have nothing to regret even if you lose the bet. Nevertheless, congratulations @Charles-Tim, $168.34 is a whole lot of money in my country.
