Davido requesting for Bitcoin on his wedding day as a gift it's quite impressive,and on the other hand it isn't.The reason why I said it's quite impressive is because most celebrities in Nigeria knows the value and worth of Bitcoin,he made it clear to public despite the oppositions from the government about Bitcoin.I wasn't surprised when he included Bitcoin to other currencies he would accept as a gift because Davido has always been a lover of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
And also to add up to all I've said,the reason why I said it isn't impressive on other hand is because this same Davido came up with a project $DAVIDO and it happened to be a pump and dump scheme.Most curious Nigerians most especially his fans invested their funds into $DAVIDO and at the long run the project crashed.
Ignorance is no excuse,a lot of people were told that the project was pump and dump but they ignored it all because the project was coming from a well known celebrity with fake promises, that's why most forks are always scammed not because of the promises of new tokens but they ignore vital informations alot.

It would have been better if he sold nothing but make people believe in the coin but only what he wanted was profit which makes many people to lose money and also make more people to lose hope in the coin.

Celebrities are always controversial people, almost same as politicians because today they say something but tomorrow they do it the other way round but as for an influencial celebrity like davido he wouldn't have gotten himself in that scam project at all and one thing about people is that if you scam them once then they are unlikely to believe you again so davido talking about Bitcoin will not make any much impact in the coin even though majority of people find the coin worth investing but it is not because of Davido's comment that will entice people.

 Taking a quick look at that Davido's scam project, he shouldn't have sold the coin at that outrageous amount instead he could have just left it there maybe who knows the coin could have still gained some value in it even though it was a meme coin because since it was influenced by a prominent artist like Davido, more people could have developed interest in the coin and it would have sustained it in the market. I never heard about Davido coin not untill those who purchased it began to complain on how much they have lost investing in it. There was no campaign, no foundation and in any way did he identity the potential of the token/coin which will then interest investors to buy, this tells how ignorant most people are, blindly following celebrities and not detecting when to avoid being scammed off.

It is indeed remarkable and a huge push for Bitcoin Speculations. He indirectly took to the MC that earning in fiat is a stable commodity but can be devalued by economy inflations.
