Hi what filters do you use in dexscreener to find potential rugpulls or detect coins that are not a good option to scalp?

And what is the minimum amount to start trading these solana meme coins?

I know that in exchanges like mexc, bitget and I know I can start trading with less than 1dollar...but

so can I open a position and set a SL and lose only 10 cents for that trade?
..like you can do in mexc bitget etc¿

And is it possible to short these solana meme coins?

The only significant things I've seen pro shitcoin traders look out for is locked liquidity and if there are holders with a large percentage of the total supply. If there is, then it's a no no. Also, if liquidity isn't locked too.

I haven't tried it yet but you can do with as low as $2. I have tried personally. I haven't tried $1 or less. Another important think to note is that you can only use such amount on solana. On Ethereum Mainnet, it won't work because gas fee is usually above $1.

Depends on the exchange. No two exchanges are the same. You have to check their FAQ and terms of service too. On binance, your trade needs to be a minimum of $10 on either side (buyer or seller) if I remember correctly.

On Solana, looks possible to me. Like I already said, I have only tried a trade with $2 and above. The one time the amount traded was $2 was because the price of the memecoin had dropped over 98% and the $2 was the only piece I could salvage.

Only if an exchange lists them on perpetual futures. MeXC and Bybit are some of the exchanges that lists memecoins on futures from time to time.

No filters, just try to use your feeling, and try to look at the contract first, but play hit and run. if you already get decent profit then go out.

CEX will not allow you to trade less than 1 dollar, there will always be a minimum amounts to be traded, but dex will allow you to do that.

Impossible since dex was not supporting the prepetual or futures market for the new tokens issued in the blockchain.

it's really useful to find out whether the contract doesn't comply with the standard protocol and also find out whether there's backdoor in the contract where the devs can use to rugpull or to tinker around with the contract code.

other than that, just see the token contract in the blockchain explorer such as solscan if the meme coin is in sol and see the token holder section, if there are some addresses that holds big percentage of the total supply, big chance it is a malicious meme coin probably gonna rugpull you.

there's no minimum generally for a trade in DEX but always judge whether it's worth it by seeing the transaction fee. in regard to shorting these meme coin, if the market cap is low and not popular, forget it, no perpetual platform will be interested to create perpetual market for these, so don't bother but if the meme coin you're trading is big and famous enough just check it out in various dex, for example in jupiter => https://solana.com/ecosystem/jupiteraggregator

There is a bunch of checker out there you can simply google it by using honeypot checker and found the token is honeypot or not.

Dexscreener like shinratensei said is the best tool for this, tho playing with memecoin is already a high risk so you need to carefully before buy.

For me I just open dexscreener and open liquidty tab if all burned usually safe
