Corruption undermines democracy and erodes trust, corruption is more deadly than sickness. Many people associate corruption with the government when we discuss it, forgetting that it begins with me and ends with us. Consider a scenario where a nearby farmer harvests grain from his land and sells it for three times the cost. A manager of a company will have an affair with his worker in exchange for a job, etc. The government is not to blame for any of these. Fighting corruption inside our ranks will make it easier for us to take on the government. Speaking of the government, there have been fatalities as a result of their inability to employ funds allotted for the development of decent roads, state hospitals with enough equipment, decent schools, etc. You will concur with me that corruption is more hazardous than disease if you contrast all of this with the onset of a particular ailment. Like diseases, which may be treated or managed if the specific cause is identified, corruption is impossible to completely eradicate since it involves all segments of society, including the wealthy, powerful, and the impoverished.

You know, that is not a suitable example for us to talk about corruption, it is rather an example of speculation. In reality, the prices of the open market would not allow a farmer to sell their products for the triple of the price as easily as you portrait.
A better example for corruption would be a police person abusing of their power for financial gain, that is the simplest example. Though, I would agree with you that corruption does not start and end with big position in government, it also starts with the common people like you and I.

Your example of the speculating farmer reminds me of some countries which went hrough socialism, by the way, in which people who worked the land were forced to sell their crops to the government.

Obviously corruption can in other terms be defined as an enemy of progress of a nation because those countries where I have seen corruption have had little or no success after that corruption began to make its way in such nations, it really dangerous than disease in the sense that in a country where there is a high rate of corruption, there is definitely going to be increased rate of poverty in such country and which results to many things, where we will have people face/ suffer different kind of issues due to bad government.

Corruption destroy faster than disease, because is very easy for corruption to go round the country to cause hardship that will be taking people life while it take disease a long years before the disease will start taking people life little by little in the community, That is why people don't likely taking it easy with some corrupt leader because they don't wish the people well in the community and such people need to be ignore in any position they are coming out for in their party.

Actually you on the point Mate, corruption is very faster to surround the society by killing people's I can even say that corruption is faster than speed of light, because even in our country now the way corruption is dealing with so much of people's taking their life is something that government his self the consider, but him over look without take any solutions.

Fighting a war against corruption is very severe and expensive because you have to fight the mindset of the people and also the people. Indeed you said the truth because when a society is facing corruption definitely they will be a lot of crime in that society because there laws and order will not be very effective. Op corruption is a social science concept while disease is a medical sickness of the body. I understand your point you are driving to here,  but both are sickness of the society,  when the society is full of corrupt people, then citizens won't have access to good drinking water and good health care, it will expose them to diseases, so you're right corruption is really more dangerous than disease.  Most diseases in our body today is as a result of what we eat. We eat foods that are not good for thr body because we don't have money to get it. Corruption has eaten deep into the society,  the political actors has impoverished us ,we have no money to buy good foods for our body, that exposed our body to all kind of sickness because our immune system lacks nutrition as a result of unbalanced food we consumed because of poverty.

Democracy is simply another form of group Dictatorship. The US was formed to be a Constitutional Republic, with a Democracy form of official government being controlled by the people of the Republic. This worked for a while in the early history of the US. But the people forgot that they were a Republic, and succumbed to the ideology that their country is a Democracy.

for my understanding corruption is disease itself I don't see any difference between corruption and disease, why because where disease affected the person or the thing gets bad and same with corruption. Wherever corruption is there is no growth or neither things will get worse and the nation or the society will live in darkness, cause their is no good people living around them so they aren't no difference between corruption and disease. We have discussed this, it is not surprising that many people compare corruption to a disease. In fact, corruption is likened to cancer. Corruption is also often indicated as an extraordinarily dangerous disease that damages the economy and undermines the foundations of society and a country. Unfortunately, corruption does not recognize status, position, profession, gender and does not look at who the person is and what the impact is. We often hear about corruption cases in poor countries, and it also depends on the human resources themselves. although, it's not always that specific. Unfortunately, eradicating the proliferation of corruption is not as easy as we say or discuss.

In my country, the level of corruption is very worrying. starting from the lowest to the top, I mean starting from the lowest to the highest level. Even though every country has a platform to deal with corruption problems, it is a shame that the institutions appointed to deal with corruption are often involved in corruption bribery cases themselves. There are various causes of corruption, including economic problems, namely low income compared to living needs and a consumerist lifestyle. a culture of tipping, a low culture of shame, weak inconsistent legal sanctions by law enforcement agencies, and a lack of legal oversight. Well, whatever the corruption, whether carried out by individuals or even corporations, the impact will be very detrimental to the lives of many people or a community within a country.
Actually, I like the method used by other Asian countries, namely China. At that time, Xi Jingping vowed to eradicate corruption at its roots. At the very least, in the first era of Xi Jingping's rule, harsh punishments for those found guilty will be very severe. In fact, he did not hesitate to take the life of someone who was proven guilty of his acts of corruption. These ideas and notions can be implemented if the leader is truly brave and sides with his community.

All you described above is directly pointing to one Africa country. Maybe the giant of the countries of Africa. Corruption is one simple word but has a heavy and deeper meaning than it appears. Corruption affects the mind which affects behaviour and mutilates culture and eventually replaces it. The worse scenario is when corruption is eventually seen as a norm by the majority of a nation.

There was a president in Africa whose agenda was to fight corruption. According to him, he tried his best but at a particular time, corruption was fighting back. Majority laughed at him without knowing what he meant by corruption was fighting back.
