I am 25 and I invested my (small) money almost all I bitcoin, mostly when it was 830 and some when it was 600. I am really panicked. Please give me some advice. Will bitcoin grow?
I expect it (and alts) to continue dropping for the next 4-8 weeks - Chinese no longer buying - the money to fuel the fire has simply evaporated. Ordinary Mom and Pop investors in the west have been scared shitless by the MSM. The only hope left for BTC is Wall street - but why should they pile in to save a sinking ship? Nothing to stop them from starting their own currencies. Ultimately, BTC is a dinosaur and inferior to a number of new alts which are much cheaper, and much faster.

Yes Bitcoin was dying so many times that is is hard to believe that is will ever die (for me). And as we know- it will not even if the price will drop, so what - Bitcoin will stay with us forever! (I believe)

If you can afford to be without your money then I suggest you hold onto the bitcoin for a while as I do think we will see higher than $830 again. It could be years though. If you can't afford to be without that money to the point where you can't afford your home and food then you should never have gambled with it and you may have to start thinking about liquidating your assets at a loss. That would be a shame but it's a hard lesson that must be learned. I guess you did not want to hear any of that and were just hoping for people to all tell you that bitcoin will definitely be at $1,000 by July.

Don't Panic Trust the underlying technology. Trust all the Bitcoin ATMs being installed all over the planet. Trust all the money flowing into startups built around Bitcoin. The general population is just learning about Bitcoin. It will continue to spread. Bitcoin is just started. I have gone back to work and will use the next few months to buy some more cheap bitcoins.

I'm 31 and at 30, I invested 50% of what I had made in my entire life at that point in BTC and BTC mining gear. Bitcoin will persevere. That's the beauty of this all. I am not worried at all.

Cryptocurrencies will be around for a long time, that's for sure, but the investment strategies of some of you are very weird.
You buy at 800/600/400 and expect to profit in the short term. That's weird. At $800 the market cap was around 10 billion. To get a measly 100% profit, the market cap would have had to double to 20 billion. That's not possible now.
I'd understand this strategy with a coin of $100,000 market cap that could easily go to $4 million, but not with something in the billions.
---
Also, mining Bitcoin is a dead end. You gain much more combining GPUs and Scrypt.

Wow, if price hits the range of $435 and a bit lower, a shit load of coins will change hands according to Bitsamp's order book.

Wow, if price hits the range of $435 and a bit lower, a shit load of coins will change hands according to Bitstamp's order book. It's normal to see big pending orders below the current price. Most never get executed; they're canceled and moved down. With the price now at 444, the walls have moved downward again.

It will go down to 300-350 and stay down below 500 for awhile.
But before 2015 it'll be 1,000+ again.
Before 2016 it'll be 3,000+
before 2017 it'll be 5,000+
before 2018 it'll be 10,000+
rotfl, good luck

Bitcoin went from $17 to $2 over a 3 month period and then slowly climbed from $2 and $15 for 14 months. It also went from $266 to $55 within 48 hours, and then settled about about $110 for the next 6 months. $800 to $450, or $1200 to $450, no matter how you look at it, isn't some shocking thing. The advice you need is that you shouldn't risk money that you can't lose. I have near 100% of my net worth in Bitcoin, but I can also get a job almost instantly if I go broke, and I have friends and family with warm couches just in case.
