Sports also helps in this respect, but unfortunately there is not always time to get out into the fresh air for sports. Not always but I do agree on some parts of it. There are times when it could add more stress to our lives and that is when we are in the losing mode.
Anyone who has been gambling a lot knows about this, there's different emotional swings that gambling can provide and one of those is stress which most of the time happens to a gambler who is expecting something in return.

Even though in reality there is still a good side, but this good side is difficult for gamblers who are addicted to have. Because when they become gambling addicts,  their lives are also not good,because the losses in gambling they have experienced are so big. After all, I am sure that the benefits mentioned in the OP will only occur for those who still have good self-awareness and good control in gambling. Because most gambling addicts do not have good awareness and self-control and so, it is very natural that judgments about gambling addicts are always negative. If only people know how to control themselves.  That is the problem with people who don't want to accept their faults and choose to point the blame on others instead of changing themselves for the better.  If people are gambling responsibly, we won't have any gambling addicts or people who suffer financial ruin.  The gambling industry should not be blamed for these people.  These people are the ones who make themselves suffer by not moderating their gambling activities.  After all, engaging in gambling is our personal choice.

I highly agree, but the thing is people forget the reason why things turn out bad, instead, they jump to conclusions and point the problem away from the one who made the mistake.  Just like most gambling addiction problems.  They failed to see that the problem was caused by the person involved and instead put the blame on the gambling industry completely.

We might see gambling as entertaining but we should also look the other way round why we always choose to come and bet. We all wants to be seeing our bankrolls increases which I think is the ultimate reason why we keep trying luck even when we won or lose the previous bets. When I think of positive things which come with gambling, the first thing I can mention is how the profits from casinos can be used to social programs and targeted to social programs thanks to taxation, though I don't personally do  it like excessive taxation on casinos and gamblers.
In second place comes the entertainment and the socialization which comes from gambling, though obviously it is easier to socialize when one visits and brick and mortar casino than staying home and gamble all alone and chatting on casino. I'm in line with your points, but at the same time, what people are stereotypically inclined with should nevertheless be approached cautiously. But if you look around you, those who are causing the stereotypes of gambling are not changing their ways, that's the issue. I believe generally that when people are facing issues/mistakes, the first case(s) could be a mistake but when it is being repeated, it is no more mistake but their fault or who they really are. That is what I view about gambling as well, if many are dealing with it wrongly, changing their ways should be the best approach here so that it will stop all these bad names that are being meted out to gambling. Sadly. the reverse is the case.
