How would bitcoin exit when the demand for it remains? Remains what exactly? I think that if there's a demand for it, then there's no way that bitcoin's going to go away anytime soon and that it's going to be that way forever, the worry about the innovations and flaws of bitcoin isn't really warranted given that there's a lot of developers out there that are tweaking bitcoin since it's open source, ain't no way that a bug or flaw would go amiss when there's thousands of people that are watching bitcoin 24/7.

I also think that there is no issue happen with btc yet. Technically it's so strong and i have seen there is nothing could happen it down. Government is a centralized system, bitcoin is decentralized, how will bitcoin be their choice when they cannot control it? They regulate the economy through the monetary system, and if they cannot control the currency, the economy will collapse faster, so they are not stupid enough to choose bitcoin as a replacement for fiat. I don't see any scenario where the government will choose bitcoin even if the current monetary system collapses.

The loss of value of fiat money is due to the government, because they cannot manage their economy well and they think printing money is the solution. So even if they used bitcoin instead but they still wouldn't be able to fix their mismanagement, the economy would collapse faster.

I would have agreed with you a month ago.   I believe a large number of common people (i.e.  not the billionaires) were just "reality slapped" about climate change, and regardless who gets elected, the world is going to turn their attention to carbon reduction.

Bitcoin will not be directly targeted.  Instead, lobbyists will work to expose the "carbon neutral" claims of large industries that pay to offset their emissions.    Bitcoin will be seen as an energy hog, and even if a certain mine is fully powered by renewal energy, the public will understand that energy is better used elsewhere.   It's already happening in Texas and Arizona, before power blackouts become common.

BTC will not going to live forever op, if you have the mind set that BTC will live forever, you will miss it, which you need to take the opportunity right now to invest in BTC and take something good from it, because other cryptocurrencies will take over the position of BTC in the future.

I've thought about this before. If nations of the world simultaneously ban bitcoin, the price won't increase because the demand of bitcoin will drop, don't you think? People would still buy and sell bitcoin, but it would be illegal and not many people would be ready to buy it illegally and suffer the consequences from the government.

Indeed, changes are inevitable because the world never stops evolving whether we like it or not. But if bitcoin could last forever, what good would that do us when one day we too will die? So I really don't understand when so many people try to argue and claim that bitcoin will last forever, what good does that do them?
