Will AI taking people jobs and make the world worse?

Deep, buddy, the AI and human thing is quite deep. It's about creating a future that reflects our ideals, not only about code. Imagine AI guiding us through relationships or enabling us to decode the entire chaotic emotional range. That's guy, next-level connection! By concentrating on that, we are not only developing technology but also a tool to produce a more rich and significant human experience

I absolutely do not think so, humans have flaws, and while IA does too, it doesn't even learn that efficiently, it's still quite stupid, and even if there are a million promotions out there on twitter and instagram that shows what it can do, it's the peak point of it and you are seeing what it can do at the very best case by working on it for tens of hours, hundreds of hours, perfecting and even with that result is disappointing.

AI will never be like humans, it would never mirror us, it's just what you do by putting bunch of data to a machine, nothing more. It doesn't even "think" that well, it just does what you tell it to do, and in a text or image format. No time soon any AI would be able to fix your car, so do not be worried.

Most companies don't publicly say it but behind the hood, they have started adopting AI for day-to-day workplace activities and it's only going to get serious in the near future. Already there are very limited amount of jobs and with AI, the number of roles a company need (bare minimum) will still reduce by up to 70%. A lot of people say that those who adapt quickly to AI tooling will eventually be shown the door too as AI gets more smarter and knowledgeable. LLMs are continously pushing the bounds of what's possible and what's not.

It’s undeniable that AI will definitely replace some of the human jobs in the future, most particularly those who deal with computer technology, thus leaving some of us jobless in the future. However, it could also mean new job opportunities for more productivity, so if you want to stay sustainable by that time, it’s better to reskill or upskill and adapt those job offers by AI, as simple as that.

Before we consider the downsides of automated systems using AI, I believe the benefits can be passed on to the consumers such as consistency in products which is something difficult to get with human's  , labour costs will be cut meaning products and services get to become cheaper for the end user, less to zero Chitchatting, you don't get to see the employee that gets on your nerves, no strikes etcetera and looking at the benefits AI brings to the to table, clearly the benefits outweigh the cons and I don't see why we should fight this technology as it has been something we have expected to happen for several decades now and we are the ones that need to adapt with change!!!

We cannot avoid the development of AI, it is something we have to accept whether we like it or not. But even though it is developing and getting smarter every day, it is not able to beat humans, because AI is based on the data and information it obtains and it does not have feelings and conscience like a human in general. So even though in some sectors there will be jobs taken over by AI, there are limits to that and not all jobs will be taken over by AI - and it is very likely that there will be new jobs that will be created.
But that doesn't mean that we don't need to pay attention to this, because AI technology can be a double-edged sword and the government needs to regulate it before it harms society.

It's inevitable and this is something that you should that make  yourself accept such reality.Just like other people been saying that if you do find yourself having some hints or doubts that you would be laid off then it would be better that you should be finding options on which you could be able to earn in other methods or ways.We do know that technology will really be getting advanced on and any possible integrations could really happen in a business on which it would be understandable that there would be someone that will really be that affected.

There would really be things that would be affected and there would really be ones that will benefit but just been said that positive will outweighs the negative, so it would really be just that fine.

The reality is that, AI is a "tool", no AI in the world goes out there and does a job all by itself, a person ends up using AI to make something. Which means that, just like any other tool in the world, you need humans to control and use it, it could make a lot less work force, meaning many people would be out of a job, instead of 10 people doing a job, you would have 1 people using an AI tool and do the whole thing. Instead of crying over what would happen, we could just learn to be that one guy.

Or you could just go protest and try to get UBI a chance, maybe you can convince enough people to join your protest, and you could make elections a worthy situation. Make companies that uses AI pay extra tax, and use that money to pay UBI to people who are unemployed, like welfare.

I think AI just being tool is just the early stage of AI, eventually with enough data AI can perform most of the thing that it previously can't do including self repair, invention and so on.
It just matter of time until AI truly capable, bright mind like elon fear of AI for a reason I guess, even though some people might consider elon as just fear mongering knowing the controversy he has over the twitter, but I personally think that his fear stands for a reason.

but yeah probably the only thing that could prevent people from being completely unemployed with no income is government regulation and maybe pushing for UBI is one, increase taxation for robotic uses.

I saw a video on my social media there's a restaurant that using AI and almost 100% automated, I thought it's a new video, but actually it has been around for six months.

If this trend keep continue, what the world would be? many people will become unemployed and not all people can become engineers. Middle class people will become poor as they don't get decent jobs, will we see a big revolution that the poor to clash against the rich?

I'm not sure if this happen in your country or not, but in my country most companies don't want to make their employees become permanent workers anymore, they only want contract workers because the companies don't have to give compensation to fired contract workers.

I understand that permanent workers are just a "myth", but if the companies suffer bad financial and want to reduce the employees, they would fire the contract workers first, so permanent workers are safer.

Eventually we will see robotics take over a lot of tasks and it should be embraced, although for the people at the bottom of the food chain it can definitely be scary. It's more important than ever to make sure you have a good education to take advantage of future jobs. Some of the easiest and basic activities are often robotic in nature, so replacing the people is actually more reliable for the company. The robots can break down or have malfunctions, but workers will go off sick and probably be more unpredictable over the long run. You need to embrace the change because businesses are constantly evolving and adapting, the ones that don't eventually get shut down because the competition eats them.

As AI becomes smarter and more intelligent and knowledgeable, it doesn't matter whether you reskill or upskill, as long as any AI can do that same job much faster and cheaper, these employers will definitely opt for it. Except there's a major law put in place to limit how much work AI should be permissioned to do, that's the only way we can still get to have jobs. At a time, even Elon musk signed a petition for AI capabilities to be throttled and limited. If left unchecked, I can assure you that any and all  computer-based jobs will be taken off the table by AI.

Yes, you are right, that this will make it easier for someone to work. However, this might actually have an impact because now there is AI that makes difficult things easier. This will reduce the income of people who did that job before, and they will even be threatened with looking for another job because maybe AI will take their job. However, I think this really needs to be paid attention to and people have to adapt, because technology is there to make our lives easier, so we need to learn from it and try to find gaps to develop the work we have.
