Happy new month guys, am still learning to improve, I brought this topic to know what people are expecting in this month of July, We have experienced above $70k in this year but the major price many people are waiting to experience from the bull season in this year is $80k above, do you believe that this price will come to pass in this month of July We just entered? Based on the recent moved of the price of bitcoins, I think it will going to move above $80k in this month of July before the lowest price will surface in the market for people to know the bear season has started again.

Let's be realistic, there's not going to be that many things that would lead the price to go up that much.

Mostly July has been like that because many people kept buying the news on ETFs and Trump making  positive statements in regards to crypto. But consider that the news can go as far only. The etf flows now also go the other way. People looking to get rid of BTC or short it force sellouts on exchanges. Also the MtGox BTC gets released etc.

So saying we'll reach 80k in July is too optimistic. Maybe next year

My speculation on this market is that bitcoin won't go above 70k again this month neither are going to see the price dip below 50k. The price as we may see it would be between just 60-70k till this year runs out, I believe we just have less than 5 months to enter 2025 that is when we could see bitcoin going above what everyone expected but for this year I don't think there is any much effects on the market that would cause bitcoin to see 80-100k this year. Usually we know that market are being driven by news and if there's any positive effects then then we might see bitcoin going above even the 100k we are all expecting but historically expectations is from next year.

The third quarter of the year starts today. I do not expect much in July, perhaps in the months following up to the end of the year, we can speculate on a price of $80k, given that bitcoin is currently trading around $61k.

However, I am not particularly concerned with the bitcoin price at the moment because I will not be selling until next year. So whatever price I see, I go on with it with my weekly DCA strategy without thinking about whether bitcoin price will increase or decrease since the target is next year's bull run.

Since this thread is for speculations then we will make attempt to predict the direction bitcoin price will go in this month of July, because alot is expected from bitcoin market in this month since we hard a discounted price just some few days before the month of June ended which indicates a more positive outlook for bitcoin in this month.

Although 80k price is achievable but we may likely fall below that price in the July market trends, there have been alot of bitcoin accumulation in the last month and most of the investors displayed long term characteristics which means alot of bitcoin investors are not ready to sell below 100k BTC price, but are ready to accumulate more if the price goes below 60k.

There's not much we know except to speculate on the July price, another thread mentioned is it July bitcoin to $75K? Going to $80K is actually still realistic, it's just that we don't know how the market will react, whether it will go sideways or trigger a bullrun.

Approximately this year is still long to end, I draw conclusions there until the end of December to what extent bitcoin will move, whether it will continue to rise or fall into bearish.

I think we can only wait for the moment, we now can't do much except continue to buy because we believe bitcoin will bullrun.

Bitcoin will not reach $80l in this month but it might reach that amount in the month of November to February next year. And if we analyse from the historical perspective then the price will be in between $60k to $70k throughout the remaining months until the month of November before things will change again and that was what happened in the 2022 and from reading previous articles it also happened in 2023 too.
So we should only expect that price you are saying from November and not now.

With the issue of Mt. Gox, regarding that Collapsed bitcoin exchange will unload $9B of coins into the market, I think that will be bad news. And this might actually make the price of Bitcoin change quite significantly.

Yes, it will depend on how customers treat these coins later. Hopefully it's not so bad. For this month, if I could just redeem $70k I would be very grateful. What is feared because of the Mt Gox issue is that on the contrary, the price of Bitcoin will fall even more, since yesterday this issue circulated, the consequences have been really felt. What if they have indeed returned the coins? Of course this will make the market even more sensitive and it could be worse than this.

At least, keep calm for whatever happens to Bitcoin Market in the future. Let's just say that later we have a much better opportunity to get Bitcoin prices at a much lower rate, before holding them until the next peak bullish season.

Like I said in the other thread where the OP was predicting we break $75K in July. I dont think either of these numbers are realistic for a few reasons.

One of them is that in the Summer, usually the markets trade sideways and go nowhere. I expect August to be even worse than July for volatility. The volatility usually comes back in second half of Septemer.

Second is that MtGox is about to send their BTC out sometime in July. So far people are expecting a delay hence why we rallied when the original news caused a stir, but if they are true to their word and finally start sending out those dormant bitcoins then expect some volatility.

Anything that made Bitcoin hit $80,000 again is a bullish call for it which I do not see coming for now. I stopped having so much expectation on Bitcoin in June, despite having the strong bullish call at the start of the month, it ended woefully. I never expected Bitcoin to hit the $58,000 area in June but that was the reality as it dropped more than $12,000 and it was like a dream. Going forward, I will tread carefully and rather act according to reality using the guidance of my trading chart.

It is possible the coin move higher, however, breaching and holding above the $62,120 1W TrendMagic resistance level is very important which can help it climb higher. It has breached the level already but I hope it sustains the holding above it. Better assurance will also surface if a bullish price action can be seen again on the weekly chart, this will add credence to this view and might be one of the reasons that Bitcoin will rebound higher to reset the resistance at $71,950. A break above that level is expected to retest the ATH of about $73,850 and the final breach of this level must happen before we ever think of the market hitting $80,000 for any reason.

I'm reasoning in line with your thoughts, many investors have probably accumulated a lot of Bitcoin after it's ETF was approved, also during the pre and post halving. Investors were buying in anticipation to see a $100k price within this year, as that hasn't happened yet, I believe that there's no willingness to sale, most investors are probably hodling and waiting for price to increase.

Because of the price fluctuations between $59k and $70k in recent months, I'm not so sure about seeing Bitcoin price near $80k in this month of July. Nothing much has changed that we can speculate a major price increase, unless we here about something in this month of July, that can impact price to surge.

The victims only received 20% of their total assets in this compensation and we also do not know how many people will sell the bitcoin and how many will continue to hold it after they receive it. So how this actually affects the market is still a question mark, but I don't see it as serious as what the media propaganda makes it out to be. I guess everything is just exaggerated to cause panic in the market and make people sell bitcoin, things are not as bad as we imagined.

It is surprising to see that most people are becoming pessimistic about the market and no one believes that bitcoin can reach a new ATH this month just because of the news that has been circulating recently.

There are a lot of optimism that this month might be very different from June and that we could see above $70k or even get to a new all time high. So we will see if this positivism will carry all throughout or this is just want we wanted to see but the market is not going to cooperate or at least investors are still not willing to pour their hard earn money and see another side-ways.

So let's see how it goes, if there is one news that might push it why not? But at least, we should be ready to buy when the price goes down and continue to accumulate. We still have the full year as well to be here and look at how the market will move to a new all time high. So patience is the key here and look at the bigger picture.

Yeah, and it's very much the law of the average, if June is bad like like -7% down, then we might recover that what we have lost and then gain some at the month of July. So I will say let's just be positive for this month, it could be just the calm before a huge storm coming in this month and we might see $70k again or higher. I'm just basing everything on the previous data we have in the halving year 2020, and the thing is that during that time we are in the pandemic and yet we've seen a bigger rise and have a new all time high. So the same thing might happen again, it could be the numbers might different, but the outcome will still be the same, $80k++ going into the future or at least at the end of this year and who knows, we might touch 6 digits then.

I can only predict; we are not sure of what the price will be in the next 1 hour, so the thing is that we should be putting too much prediction in the market. Their prices are speculation, and we know it won’t happen at the moment. So the thing is, for my own sake, I’m not going to predict the amount to pass $70k this month. I don’t think it will hit that $80k you are thinking, although it can probably surpass the $70k but won’t hit the $80k because after it rises, I think we will expect some dump in the market before it goes back again, so I think for this month it may reach $70k or near $70k.

Can you explain why do you think the Bitcoin price will hit 80K USD in July? You have a gut feeling that it will 80K or you have some great analysis to back up your theory? Maybe you have some insider information that some big corporation is going to buy several billion USD worth of Bitcoins?
I have no expectations for a Bitcoin price pump during the summer. Let's enjoy the summer vacation and forget about the BTC price for a while. The BTC market is going to surprise us in the last Quarter of 2024. I promise...

We don't knows if this month, Bitcoin price can reach $70k or still stay at the price now or decrease for more. Many people hopes that this month will change from previous month and see Bitcoin price increase and reach $70k or even higher. I am not sure that will happens in this month but if that is really happens, we can feel happy because we see the price can moves to the better area.

But even if the price can reach $70k this month, we must aware about the correction because the correction can comes after Bitcoin price reach the high price. It is better we waits and prepares by buying more Bitcoin so we can be ready to sell Bitcoin if the price really increase this month. But if you don't wants to sells your Bitcoin, you can still holds your Bitcoin until the price you wants to sells.
