Today Sri Lanka Cricket Premier League fifth edition has been started on 1st july and opening match played between Defending Champions B-Love Kandy and Dambulla Thunders.  In this LPL session total of 24 matches were played and the final be held on July in Colombo. As usual many international players from different countries will be playing LPL including many Pakistani players Babar Azam, Asif Ali and many others will be in action.

DAS vs KAF

Yesterday 1 st game was ended between Dambulla Sixers team and Kandy Falcons team and this game was held on Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. In this game, Falcons team won the toss and they got a chance to take first bat or filed and Falcons made good decision by choosing bowl first. DAS team effort in batting lineup was not weak and their batsman played this lineup with full power and set strong target of total 179 runs by losing 4 wickets. M.Chapman batted very good with scoring 91 runs with hitted eight 4s and four 6s and not dismiss. But their bowler did not showed excellent effort in bowling and did not stop Falcon batsman to chase their target and did not support their team to win game. Falcon chased down all target and got 1 st win in this new season and D.Shanaka got player of game award due to outstanding effort in game and first he took down 3 wickets and made 46 in batting lineup.

Sri Lanka Premier League (LPL) has already started yesterday we enjoyed the first match today we will enjoy the second match. Jaffna Kings vs Galle Marvels will face each other in today's second match of Lanka Premier League (LPL). Five teams will participate in the Sri Lanka Premier League (LPL) this year. Today's second match has already been tossed where Jaffna Kings won the toss and elected to bat first. Today both the squads are very strong, maybe we will see a great fight from these two teams in the field game.

Today Sadeera Samarawickrama and Thisara Perera scored the runs for Colombo, while the wickets were nabbed by Dunith Wellalage and Shadab Khan. For Kandy Falcons, the key performers were Kasun Rajitha, Wanindu Hasaranga and Dinesh Chandimal. And tomorrow we have the match between Dambulla Sixers and Jaffna Kings.

Yesterday fourt match was also finished in this Lanka premier League competition which was finished among Jaffna Kings sqaud against Dambulla Sixers sqaud. I see many most competition player take part in this competition from different international cricket squad. This match was very tough and competitive among these sqauds because this match has very narrow outcome. Dambulla sixers sqaud has begun this match first with batting Inning and in this inning, their sqaud member were displayed very strong performance but not enough good than Jaffna Kings squad. In bowling inning, Jaffna Kings squad has lost this match just 4 batter and 0 delivery because Defeating target of sixers squad has total 191 scores and in las free bad bowling, their sqaud has lost this match. I really the partnership of these two batter Charith Asalanka and Avishka Fernando. Both these batter displayed amazing performance and managed to collect 130 scores total.

Colombo Strikers team won the match by  51 runs. Colombo strikers gave a handsome target that could not achieved by Kandy team . Kandy all team out by making  only 147 runs .  Samarawickrama performed very well and made brilliant 48 runs in 26 balls and he was top performer of the match. Kandy team seven players could not enter in double figures . Wellalage took 4 wickets and he was game changer and match bent to their side due to his performance.  He gave 20 runs in 3.5 overs. S.Khan also took four wickets by giving only 22 runs . Both team players could not make  half century for the team . To win the match partnership is important and we didn't see partnership between players of both team and no player made century in this match.

This is the 5th season of the Lanka Premier League, and unfortunately it has yet to establish the brand name outside Sri Lanka. And in the long term this is not a viable situation because Sri Lanka is a small country with a very small population. On the other hand, Major League Cricket (MLC) in the United States has been successful in generating revenues from all the major markets. I would rather suggest the ACB, SLCB, BCB and PCB to establish a single trans-country franchise league. They can also include one team from Nepal as well.

The CLS batsmen have set a big and tough target of 199 in 20 overs to the KA OFF batsmen.  And it was very difficult for the KAF batsmen.  And the CLS bowler from above bowled very well.  Their bowler kept the runs and took wickets and scored only 147 runs with 10 wickets in 15 overs and would win the match.  Their bowler bowled brilliantly.  Had their bowlers not bowled like that, KAF batsmen would have met the target of 199 and won the match.  But their batsmen played restlessly and luck did not favor them and they would lose the match.  Congratulations to CLS for this win and keep playing like this and winning matches.

Tomorrow sixth match will being played among Jaffna Kings squad against Galle Marvels squad bit in this fourth fight of this Lanka premier League competition, both Sixers sqaud and Kings sqaud took part for this clash. This match was my favourite one from all of them who were finished because both squads played very superb and with full teamwork and support their squad to emerge victory but at end of match, Jaffna kings squad faced a defeat in last delivery and 4 wickets. I did not forget the great century of Kusal Perera batter for their sqaud when no batter played good. But in bowling inning side, their bowlers bowled very amazingly in begin of match but at end, Fabian Allen hitted good shot and pick 6 scores in last delivery and emerged victory. If Sixers squad will pick early wicket of this batter Avishka Fernando and break the partnership with Charith Asalanka, then their Will surely win match.

I agree with you. Kings were more dangerous in this match and they played very in this match . Fernando played good inning for the team and made excellent 80 in just 34 balls and also Asalanka made 50 runs in just 36 balls and then changed the match and  bent the match to their side. They chased the score on the last ball of innñg .

Kings were looking in good form and they looked like they will chase the score against any team and now they strength their position.Both teams tried to give the good match to the audience and both team players will play will at any situation.

Yes, Lanka premier league matches are full of pleasure and most of the matches are nail-biting finished. In yesterday's fifth match of this session it was interesting to watch the Galle Titans win the match by 7 runs against the Colombo Strikers. Colombo Strikers failed to chase the target and only managed to score 172 runs from a loss of 9 wickets. The Player of the Match is Isuru Udana for his outstanding all-round performance scored 52 runs and picked 2 important wickets by just giving only 34 runs and helped his team to win the match by a narrow margin. Colombo Strikers is a strong team they have more matches than Galle Titans but today loss will teach a lot. I hope the Colombo Strikers will come back stronger in the next matches of the tournament.

Galle Marvels and Jaffna Kings will meet today in the third match of Lanka Premier League. Jaffna Kings won one of the two matches and drew one. Galle Marvels on the other hand won both their matches.

Both teams have strong squads. So it cannot be said for sure which team will win. Jaffna Kings performed well against Dambulla Sixers in their last match. Jaffna Kings team won the target of 192 runs given by Dambulla Sixers. Jaffna Kings won because of Avishka Fernando's aggressive batting. Avishka Fernando scored 80 runs off just 34 balls.

Although Jaffna performed well in the last match, Jaffna lost the first match against Galle Marvels. But the match was very competitive. So expect today's match to be very exciting.

The 6 th game of LPL series will be held between Galle Marvels and Jaffna Kings team and Galle already won past two games and their rank is also good and in 1st position on points table. Jaffna kings only win one game and one lost so their is high chance for Galle Marvels to win this game and not not easily. Jaffna Kings team will make this game very tough and also very difficult to Marvels. In past of Galle team, Galle team won this game very difficultly and won game by 7 runs. Main players of this team are Isuru, Niroshan, Hales from batting side if Jaffna kings team take their wickets in start of game then their chance to win game will increase and also bowling lineup is also strong. Today We see very big game between them and I predict that Galle Marvels again win this game and continue to win games in next and won this series.

One of the best franchise leagues in the world of cricket is the Sri Lankan Premier League. This league is considered as one of the best franchise leagues even though it does not spread the limelight like IPL. As we see in IPL, the franchise owners don't care about money and buy the best and star players in the world of cricket to play in their teams. But franchise owners like SPL, BPL cannot buy good players mainly due to lack of money due to which these leagues do not create much buzz.

However Galle Marbles and Jaffna Kings will face each other today in the Sri Lankan Premier League. The two teams faced each other in the second match of this year's Sri Lankan Premier League which was held at Pallekele. Today they are facing again. In the previous match i.e. second match of SPL, Jaffna kings were defeated by 5 wickets by Galle Marvels. Will they win today or will they lose today as before?

In their first and recent game, Galle Marvels performed brilliantly with full energy and Galle team made 179 runs and sett  a record of  total 180 runs for Colombo Strikers team.  Niroshan Dickwella and Isuru Udana both performing outstanding and both making 50 and 52 runs respectively. Despite a good performance from Colombo Strikers but they failed to complete the record of Galle team and scored 172 runs they fell short by 8 runs. Shadab Khan displayed brilliant bowling effort and taking 4 wickets conceded 21 runs but he failed to deliver good Strength in bat. Colombo Strikers struggled to maintain their pace and coordination bust last they losing match. Both teams performed nice and put tough time to each other and making it close and intense fight. Congratulations Galle team for their narrow win.
