No not at all I should have rephrased it right to avoid confusion what I mean is the hour of my stay in a casino, I usually play in my favorite casino locally and internationally but because I have work the next day  I cannot stay more than an hour, I did my mentioned that on weekend I play long hours and that's the time I can play, of course results in crash games are in seconds, you can lose your bet even in one second.

It depends on my mood but regardless of how I feel, I like the long process games like poker or sports betting because you have the chance to cashout your bet or stand up in poker if a cash out is available, unlike slots where once you click spin, you can't do anything to stop it.

Besides that, short processes games mean there's chance you could lose your bankroll also in a short amount of time.
But when it comes to the reason for gambling addiction based on my experience, it's really because of short process games like slots.

I think you can get addicted from gambling games and the duration of the games do not matter.
I know a few people who are so addiction to sports betting and they will try to bet on most of the games. Here we know that sports bet results take a long time because it depends upon the duration of the match.

So it does not matter if the bet/gambling results are known within a few minutes to seconds or take a few hours, if you like gambling and doing it frequently, you will become addicted to it one day.

I personally prefer games where I can enjoy the process for a long time. For the same reason I prefer hodling vs. intraday trading.

I personal like both, it kind of depends on whether I am in the mood for wanting to get results fast or I am in the mood to get some strategic moves before knowing whether I earned or lost money with my choices.
You know, there are some afternoons one, as a a gambler, does not desire to think too much, but rather just to press some buttons and see the results, it usually happens when I feel tired. I will say the two are more preferred by me and this have to be determined by the kind of game selection am playing at the moment, as we already know that some games are quicker in result or should i say display their result instantly while some may take time, but as with what  is common with many gamblers, some of them will prefer gambling and having their result been displayed instantly in other to know their fate, but as i have said earlier, this also have to depend on the kid of game in consideration.

Any of the type of gambling has the potential to cause addiction, it just depends on how you play and the discipline that you have. for games with fast results I feel like a danger with it is that you can lose all the money you have very quickly even before you have the chance to think about it but in games where you have to gamble and take some time to see the results before you try to gamble again, they give enough time for you to call yourself to order in case you are about to gamble an amount of money that you cannot afford to lose simply because you're trying to chase a loss.

Slot games really hooked me and it gave me quick results. But the risk will be greater with 50% profit and 50% loss,
no one will be able to survive long without having enough capital and how to manage the bets used on each spin.
At first when winning and getting a lot of scatters does look fun, but in the end it will be stressful when there is no win whatsoever, let alone the jackpot.

Games of chance/luck give quick results. While games of skill and reasoning have long process.

I prefer the games that give quick result and that is why slots remains one of my favourite casino games. I go in, place my bets. In less than 30 minutes, I already know if the out come is a win or a loss and after then, I am out.

And now, it just occurred to me that the games that give quick results are mostly single player. No opponent. More of like you against the house but the other one involves a third part. It more like you against the opponent and not the casino.

I'd have to rephrase this whole thing like this - casino games and extension games, which is more preferable? I'd say extension games which will take like 3-4 days to get settled... Why I'd choose 'em over casino games would be the leverage, which is the possibility to cashout without waiting for final results.

Casino games are fully controlled and adjusted to fit/fill up the casino's buckets; I can't even stand the sight of someone wagering 20 tickets without having any wins on virtuals. Another disadvantage of wagering on roulette is that you could lose a hundred grand in a space of about 2 hours or so. That forces you into being extravagant!
