Nope, its completely traumatized me to the point where I stayed away from the market for a while and came back semi 2022.

I coulda shoulda woulda been a millionaire....but I'm sitting on 1 bitcoin right now 

I'm hoping that when bitcoin hits 100K I can put that bitcoin into a few new ALTS (newly listed on binance) with momentum with a marketcap under 100M to 10x that into a million and hopefully make my first M.

Glad you came back, and hopefully, Bitcoin will hit $100k before the bull run ends. Everyone, including me, is expecting the market to get to that level so that we can recover some of our losses and make a profit.

With prices dropping because of many reasons (Japan's stock exchange is one of them) there would be many opportunities to hop in, in my opinion.

Not many people would have come back to tell the stories. Many people became alcohol or drugs abusers because of such losses. Few even committed suicide because they couldn't cope with such losses. I also commend OP's bravery in overcoming these losses and still coming back to tell his story. I was not around the crypto industry when the Ethconnect scam happened but there are still many fake projects around currently. To avoid regrets in the future, one needs to be careful and also learn from incidents like this.

What an expensive price that you've learned there. A couple of hundreds is already hurting but yours is that much.

It is because he might be richer than us and then like he said, the total price that he invested in the past is only 3k dollars which might still be within his reach. The only thing that haunts him is the fact that BNB price have sky rocketed a lot over the past years and it could made him a millionaire now just in case he still have access to the coin.

And what they can do upon being busted, they will just going to make a new one - a new face, name and theme. While the tactic they'd do is still the same and that's why you're right, we always tell everybody to DYOR.

But at least they got busted and that is better than nothing at all. Also, if possible, we can send them into jail. Now, will they still have the chance to roam around and do the same shit? Maybe yes, if there is a bail but it would be better for the court to set a crime like this to no bail. That way, criminals will now think twice and they can end up of not doing the crime at all for the said consequence that they can face, just in case they insisted and got busted out.

It's a harsh reality, really. Making an analysis, and a good one at that, is key for those who want to strive in the current state of the market and projects in it, in my opinion.

I agree, your analysis will help you choose a better project in the near future and something like ethconnect will be avoided then. But as OP assures that he won't be investing to the likes of these projects, he'd definitely not going to make the same mistake again. This is the truth about this market and community, once you've made a mistake, you're going to make sure that you won't be misled again by anyone or even by your thoughts because that won't help you out. And to be sure with where you are investing your money, you'd always have that second thoughts before you push a decision.

Yeah, you're right. In fact there are also people who have lost more than this and so we must take all the precautions with our investments and secure our money.
I have lost some of my hard earned money in Bitconnect scam but nothing could be done to recover it.
My friend was lucky to take some of the profits in the earlier stage but I was not as luck as him and lost the money.
Although I lost the money I took it positively because it could have been worse if I had invested all of my money in it.
Fortunately, I had just put in what I could afford to lose back then.

Yeah, i can remember and it was big shocked and i see my some friends are involved with this lending platform and first time they are able to good amount of money, but ending wasn’t good, mostly losses big amount, i also can remember about other project Biconnect where i had some investment but not big. Sorry to heard you lost a big amount, 3000 BNB it’s not a joke.
