Oil discovery is it a cause or a blessing?

Although it is not so black and white but I'd say it depends on where!

For example new oil reserves are found in a place like Iran that's a blessing since as a super power Iranians control their own resources and it is used by themselves. Although we could find some downsides as well due to mismanagement.

But at the same time when new and massive oil reserves were found in a place like Yemen it was not much of a blessing since it brought war to this poorest Arab country for more than 8 years and countless people died because of that foreign invasion with the purpose of taking over their resources.

The oil itself wasn't the caurse, it is human greed that's making it look like it was a curse. God gave the resources for the use of the people there. Why will it be a blessing in a particular country and a curse to others? When few individuals want to take all the proceeds there is definitely going to be an oposition. But the oil on its own is not a curse. If the elite class of Yemen never allowed greed to come upon themselves, there wouldn't have been any senseless war in Yemen.

This summer's high temperatures are breaking records again. People suffer a lot because of this abnormal heat, but every year it only gets worse. Global warming is associated with emissions that appear due to the massive use of petroleum products. Therefore, I do not consider the discovery of new oil deposits to be a good thing if it is again used in the traditional way. By using oil in this way, we ourselves are taking rapid steps towards making our planet uninhabitable. Oil should no longer be used as a fuel; it can be used in other industries, then it will become a blessing.

In recent time we are having good development regarding this with now we are heading for the electric cars which are good for us and future generation, and now we are having few more things which were not working without oil use having changes even speed is slow and adoption is also having problems, but things are going good for the future and having some relief in this Global warming which is going worst every year.

As we are having development we are also having changes which can bring things on balance, but this all is looking not easy even many organizations and other relative authorities are working on this for years with in coming years we will be able to cut our use of oil as fuel rapidly because without this living here on this planet is looking more difficult as things are going heated even few countries are already having conditions like hell.

It’s a good question but I’m not sure there’s really a great way to answer it. I guess it’s been both a blessing and a curse. On one hand it’s been something that’s helped mankind advance in ways that we would have never got to without it. On the other hand it has been the cause or pollution, war, and all sorts of negative things in that aspect.

Definitely a good idea to try and move away from it.

The government must have a commitment to end contracts with foreign countries when the revenue target has been achieved so that it can continue other projects for the welfare of the country without having to share the proceeds of natural resources with foreign countries.

However, it seems that there are some government officials who deliberately involve foreign countries to process natural resources because they get a percentage of the promised income, but the people living around the project site don't get anything and they just breathe the dust of the project.

It’s a good question but I’m not sure there’s really a great way to answer it. I guess it’s been both a blessing and a curse. On one hand it’s been something that’s helped mankind advance in ways that we would have never got to without it. On the other hand it has been the cause or pollution, war, and all sorts of negative things in that aspect.

Definitely a good idea to try and move away from it.

Oil have actually been one of the most relevant resources that have help majority of countries in their economy and they have used the money they have gotten from oil to develop their countries. And fossil fuel has been marked as a significant resource that every vehicle uses except for cars that uses battery but how many people can afford cars that uses battery so this shows that fuel is still in business and since it can not be found everywhere some countries have to buy from other countries so in some cases it’s a big blessing but the fact that people are greedy especially the government officials they are always stealing and even money kept for people that are affected by spillages are not given the money that is allocated to them because when you see areas that are affected by oil spillage they can not even fish or even farm, oil comes with a lot of disadvantages, so a lot needs to be addressed, because even with all this we can still not do without oil. It is already part of us, the government just need to help affected areas.

Discovering oil is a huge natural resources to a particular geographical area, oil can yield enough money to the owners and it can help to increase  the capital of a state or country. When oil is being discovered and it is not properly managed it can causes oil spillage  which can be harmful to humans . Oil can also cause pollution to an entity, a local refinery where oil is being refined can cause suit which is very harmful to the body, with this kind of problem I think the government needs to involve there by making the environment clean and healthy for it citizens to be healthy.
