Something is wrong with America

      The population of the United States is 340 million, and, surprisingly, out of all this huge number of people, the American people elect two elders for the post of president, one of whom is a frail old man, the other is a morally corrupt person with unpredictable and impudent behavior. Is it really true that in all of America there is no longer a politician equal to Ronald Reagan, who boldly called Russia the definition it deserves - the Evil Empire. I believe that if Ronald Reagan had been in President Trump’s place, he would not have shaken hands with the liar and murderer Putin.

      On the Internet, I asked the question “I would be grateful if someone could give at least one example of when Putin told the truth?” (1) As expected, no one came up with an example. To the definition of Russia “Empire of Evil” we can also add “Empire of Lies”. (2) Putin's Russia demonstrates the truth of Victor Marie Hugo in the words “Lies are the embodiment of Evil.”
 If this is so, then whoever is the next president of America should not conduct any negotiations with the liar and terrorist Putin, much less sign agreements that mean nothing to Putin. It is enough that the Kremlin fascist violated Russia’s obligations under the Budapest Memorandum and, taking advantage of this, attacked Ukraine, deprived of its nuclear shield.

                                                                      

     The extent to which President Trump, shaking hands with a bloody murderer, understood what Russia and the Russian people with their great-power worldview represent is a big question.(3) It must be said that even today on the eve of the elections, challenger Trump, unlike Biden, does not have a clear position regarding Russia . However, he is not alone; not all Western politicians still do not understand that Russia is a monster from the era of lizards that has survived to this day, which has no place in modern civilization. While the era of empires is the past of civilization, Great Russian chauvinism, of which Putin is the spokesman, is still firmly seated in the minds of the Russian people. Russia must be isolated and not repeat the past mistake, when the West thoughtlessly rushed to help Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union in the hope that Russia no longer poses a threat to the world community.
 
     If Reagan managed to defeat the Evil Empire in the Cold War, then all subsequent American presidents did nothing to completely destroy the Russian Empire. And, it’s a pity that in America there was no leader who could continue Reagan’s policies, because Biden no longer has sufficient vitality for this, and the populist Trump, even worse, has neither conscience nor intelligence.

I think I disagree with your standpoint. Trump is a businessman- he knows some strings to pull for better negotiation. It's clear that this war, if not properly handled can spiral into WWIII and that's not what the world needs. Calling Russia evil and a liar wouldn't stop the war. in fact it will reduce the chances of Putin wanting to allow America to even be on the negotiation table. For the past three years since the war started, there has being name calling, economic sanctions and different other brute pressure tactics yet Russia was unyielding. I think it's about time someone did something different, and Donald Trump is doing that. Trump is just talking his way into being the chief negotiator. The comic rift they had with  Zelensky at the oval office was just a show to win Russia's trust... Oops! I just shared a classified information. Great steps most times doesn't seem like it until the very last bold one. Let's support Trump to end this war. America is the only country that can do this for now.... The war must end.

Your proposal to stop the war by any means is the same as if the Second World War had ended with the front in Stalingrad for Russia, with Germany fully occupying all of Western Europe. You are not Ukrainian, that is why you are talking about peace by any means. There is only one way here - to borrow the aggressor, which is Russia, because it will not stop unless it loses this war.

Trump is a businessman as you said earlier so he won't do something that would destroy his companies across the world and the only Person that can do what you will like to do is someone that is not a businessman but a pure politician. Trump is protecting his business interest and not for anyone else. Joe Biden was the best option to end the Russia and Ukraine war but he didn't. And when Trump came, he is only fighting with China for the tariff increase. I heard the news, I bet Fox and Newsmax are going to be smearing that guy non-stop for some while because of the fact he is a Muslim.
Also, I doubt Israel would flinch over the fact this guy was elected to be the mayor of the biggest American City, he does not have any power to cut American assistance for Israel and does not have a say when comes to changing foreign policies of the federal government. So it is unlikely Israel will take him as a serious threat.

Those who will take him as a threat are the conservatives living on the United States, the kind of people who used to watch Tucker Carlson on Fox and believe whatever he said during that prime time.

I have two theories on this matter.

First, back then, we didn't have much access to information or news on its raw format. Therefore, it was easier for the media to fake the impression and perception the audience had about public figures, including Ronald Reagan. Therefore, you see him in a positive shape, because that was how he was described to you along your life. And with the lack of social medias and internet, you don't truly know how he was in daily life.

On the other hand, it can be that the world is truly getting more and more decaying along the decades, and more specifically since the 2010's decade. Side by side with changes in the world, you have 'spirit of time', also called 'Zeitgeist'. The political leaders we have today are a reflex of the spirit of our time. Decaying individuals choose decaying leaders, while consuming decaying content (movies, music, arts...) and acting in decaying ways.

I might be a fool who still romantize the past and the character of people who have inhabited this world previously, but I truly believe the second theory makes more sense. Honor, loyalty, truth and love mean nothing these days. People don't even wish to talk about such values, it's like they don't exist in modern society's repertoire, unless they are to be used in wicked and subverted speeches for political and personal gains exclusively.

Well I can't judge from millions of miles away. You are close to him so you know him better but from afar we see him as a businessman who is interested to protect his own which is not far from what you said (narcissism). And one thing we have to know is that, every capitalist leader must have that mindset of Trump to exploit the ordinary people in the country. Now you see Trump has the worst President in USA but other country men see him as a good and exemplary leader.
Just like my country president. The worst President we have gotten in the country is the present one but some countries still admire the man to be one f the best in Africa. The thing that is wrong with America is the thing that is wrong with every nation. They don't believe in the God of the Bible. But if they do believe, they don't accept that He is saving them from death through Jesus Christ. But if they do believe about Jesus salvation, they don't change their ways and become good people to prove their faith in Jesus.

A lot of things that are considered to be immoral started in the united states and an example is this LGBTQ that has been stopped by trump's administration. America is always called Gods own country but there are so many things going on there that makes anyone wonder if they truly believe in God. The country has lost it's morals and trump is trying to restore the country to it's former glory. Like you said America is the thing that's wrong in every nation, they are influencing other countries negatively, but one thing I must tell people is that copying the Western world in everything they do means that you are losing your originality, not everything they do is right. Let's hope the country gets better.

This issue here is all about acculturation, which most time is not basically the course of America in most cases but as result of failed leader of some nation who copy this cultural practices rather than practice their own. the result of failed leaders in most society today have lost their culture to western culture not as a result of persuasion but conceptional as they don't know what is good for themselves.

I can remember that many leader who knows what their culture entails during the introduction of LGBTQ kick against it and did not adopt it but those who lack the knowledge to maintain what their culture is accepted it. In my opinion the western world can initiate their culture within their law but acculturating is Left to any nation that chooses base on their own laws that govern them in response to maintenance of their own cultural.

Trump's envoy Vitkop is as much a traitor as Trump himself, who bends over backwards to please Putin. It’s amazing how the American people, whose interests Trump and his cronies are betraying, do not see who he brought to power. Today Witkop messed up with the pro-Putin peace treaty, but the direct culprit of the shameful treaty is not Witkop, but none other than Trump himself. Isn’t it clear that as long as the traitor Trump is in the White House, the fascist Putin will continue the plan to restore Russia within the borders of the USSR.
