I also wouldn't use one when i'm mostly satisfied with the countless online sportsbooks we can use. 

No one should use them knowing there are better options like betting exchanges, but it's always possible for someone to fall for those kinds of scams since gamblers always try to shop for the most competitive odds they can find and sometimes overlook the reputation of their service.

I was surprised he has good phone but he only used the phone to check for on some matches to be played, select some and go to a betting agent to stake money on the matches he selected. He told me that he does not want to deposit directly online that he prefers offline. The betting agent would be given cash.

Aside the reason you gave about some persons not using a browsing phone, that made them to be using a betting agent to stake on their games, there is another excuse someone I know so closely told me why he has dimmed it not necessary to open an online betting account with the fiat betting site he's using. His claims are that by having an online account he will be constantly moved to fund the account right from his bank account and this can cause distortions in his account balance. It's like him knowing his feebleness and avoiding it

Though not all the time, I do use betting agent for my fiat gambling but I won't do that with crypto gambling sites.
 What's the essence of an agent to crypto gambling which initially the whole idea of cryptocurrency bitcoin in particular was to eliminate the need for a middleman in our financial activities. For now the tag is fine not until he could proven not to be a scammer.

Not only with better odds but also a better bonus is what makes gambler fall for this scam. This is the reason why many users still keep using unknown and shady casino because they become greedy on the bonus which this service offers on top of the better odds placement on their sportsbook.

It’s very hard to convince everyone to fall for this obvious scam because greediness can always clouded the judgement of some gambler that aim for a quick profit without thinking about casino reputation.

Or it could be people who can't have good knowledge about how things works online so they thing someone with that knowledge is a good idea. But none of them are safer cause we have to trust them with their money even if we win the bet still it will take a lot to get the money on our hands.

I don't need a betting agent if I use bitcoin or altcoin to gamble, it's certainly not a smart choice to do so. If it was fiat, it's possible that I could still consider betting agents for some reasons, but not crypto. What we often encounter is that crypto users tend to use fiat to gamble instead of using crypto. To me this is an oddity that is fundamentally unbelievable, but it was their choice regardless of the reason.

Although crypto was not created for gambling, but the crypto-based gambling industry has made it easier for crypto users to gamble without too much exposure. They can gamble anonymously, but privacy sometimes cannot be maintained when casinos expect their customers to pass KYC. But someone doesn't need an agent if they want to gamble with crypto, unless they have a long-standing gambling habit.

I guess the only reason that people would ever turn to a middleman, or a betting agent as you describe it, is that they are trying to circumvent certain restrictions on betting sites. There are a variety of reasons that people might try to do that but every single one is likely breaking the terms of service on those betting sites. Maybe they are trying to bet on sites that are do not allow deposits from a certain country, or maybe their accounts got limited and they are no longer welcome. Either way, involving a middle man means you will pay a commission for the service which has to wipe out any sort of profitability you had and you're also trusting that they will not run away with your money or falsely claim it was lost.

In certain countries the banking system is either non existent or has a barrier so high that it ends up serving only the elite, close to the local dictatorship etc. So when people want to do any job with money they have to utilize money transfer agents.

For instance if you want to transfer money to a relative in the other side of the country then an agent will have to do it for you with cash. If you want to gamble to a platform that takes in deposits via bank maybe it's the same. Don't tsge what you have for granted because there's several places that almost nobody can access modern everyday technological advances. And the west is perfectly ok with keeping many such dictatorships in power.

Hopefully sooner or later people realize that as soon as they get some crypto they will no longer need agents for anything money related.

I don't know but there are people who are rich and have knowledge about what they should invest which actually made them to be rich in the first place but some of them don't have very basic knowledge like how to use internet that may really surprise us for the young generation but you will get the point of you hang out with old lads.

Crypto gambling is not much different from fiat gambling but new gamblers may not have knowledge about crypto and they only need to know how to deposit and withdraw, but all crypto gambling sessions may already be understood from fiat gambling because everything seems to have no significant differences. So there is no need for an agent to handle gambling problems because the reality is that all gamblers already understand gambling games and anyone can gamble on their own. We don't need to trust anyone to win our money in gambling, agents can hide profits and they only give us small profits and they even declare big losses because of fake losses that are told to customers.

Personally, I would never use a gambling bot of any kind.  The idea of some program betting my money is insane to me.  Maybe some computer programmers could get some fun out of that, but I certainly wouldn't.  Not to mention that the only thing more shady than someone selling you a bot with access to your money is telegram.  Virtually every time I've ever seen anyone have financial interaction with anything on telegram it ended horribly for them.  When you see anyone mention the word telegram in crypto, immediately run screaming as fast as you can.

It's funny because I even see this online. I see ads where a person offers to fund your crypto casino for the public then you pay him cash. I always wonder what it's for. I mean, it's very easy to fund a crypto casino, all you need is your casino address and send coins just as you'd send to an address or exchange, so why can't people do that on their own? If you say they don't have any crypto or don't use any crypto at all, then why are they gambling in a crypto casino if they don't don't use crypto? It doesn't make sense to me. There are tonnes of casinos that accept fiat they can use, so why trust someone else to be your agent and fund your account for you? It doesn't make any sense to me at all.

Not having a smartphone could be enough reason why a user should prefer to use a betting agent, but in a scenario where a user has both smartphone and still choose to prefer a betting agent rather than gambling itself on his/her mobile device anytime, then in such case, then I think ignorance must be the main reason here. But however, I was opportuned to speak with an elderly man who happens to be a gambler on why he chose to gamble at a Betting agent center rather than gambling by himself on his mobile device? And to my greatest surprise, he told me that while he chose to gamble at a betting agent center, is that at that venue, it gives gambler the ability to meet ans connect with other gamblers, where they are able to share ideas on best tips to gamble, which could not have been possible if they were alone at home gambling on their mobile device.

You just can't trust anybody here, especially a guy who just signed up and claimed that he has clients who bet 6 digits without any proof to show, Scammers are everywhere; they will find a place to do their scamming, Unfortunately for him, the guy posted it in a community where scams can easily be be discerned.

If there is no office it means that it is a scam. If a land based casino shares their casino to different branches it means that the person in charge of a particular branch is the manager and the manager is the agent of that  branches and it also means that the person in charge of that branch is promoting the casino. But when a person doesn't have land base casino and he or she says that he is an agent of a casino it means that the person is a scammer. However this is a modern era and smart phones are everywhere, if one wants to gamble he or she should try and buy a smart phone and create an account in a reputable online casino then fund it and have fun.

Sure, we are in the modern era where everything is now made very easy. The advent of online casinos has made it easy for anyone to just sit at home and gamble freely on their favorite games. Even if a gambler cannot afford to buy a phone, they can visit the land-based casino on their own and make their prediction on the game of interest. I still remember one old thread on this forum that warns against trusting anyone on the internet. It can be so risky to trust any kind of person on the internet who is asking you to send some money to them for any service.

Anyway, in general, if they don't have regulations, don't issue receipts, don't have a real official service, it's basically using a sort of black market for betting/gambling....with all the risks involved.

Yes this is good advice, I would avoid these type of services OP if they are considered illegal in your country because its never worth it to put yourself in that boat if it will lead to the law coming after you & you owing a huge amount of money or even worse jail time. Consider the pros and cons and definitely check to make sure that you can do this in a way that won't put you or your money in jeopardy.
