This is actually a smart move for Trump to involve bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in his campaign platforms, but this won’t still guarantee if the bitcoin community will favor Trump over Biden since its community population is diversed and some would want younger leaders knowing there are more millennials or young professionals involved in this bitcoin community. Trump has his own objectives which is far cunning for us to understand at this stage. He is the stakeowner in many of the casinos and is thus running a good profit from them and his hotels. I don't know who invited Trump to speak at a BTC conference, he is surely not pro BTC and i am sure he does not fully understand that BTC network, he is simply going there to campaign, when will bitcoiners understand this, both Trump and Biden do not equally care about BTC, they only care about being president.

The sudden shift of interest is a strategic move of Trump so he can win the hearts of the crypto community, something that a wise politician would do. Because if not, sticking to his old perspective about bitcoin will not put him in a bitcoin spotlight, and most likely he will be beaten easily by Biden.

Donald Trump can be all he want to be or the supremacy of the US, he doesn't get to decide what the nation wants. If the senators doesn't pass the bill, he has no power to do otherwise and it's not like it's only his party that will win the senate, other parties are there and it's not like all of them will ever agree to pass a particular bill. After what happened today I am not expecting Donald Trump to be attending as many events was he planned.
Anyways... assuming he still continues to appear in public (he is likely to continue to, so he will give that image of "tough guy"), I am expecting him to say some things about how The United States is supposed to become the biggest "producer" of Bitcoins and how miners are supposed to be left alone to do their job, instead of hitting them with absurd taxes on their investments and operations.
Make no mistake, Trump does not have any idea on what Bitcoin is what what it truly represents to us or the majority of the community, he knows this election is likely to be a close one and wants to appeal to as many niche groups as possible and who are likely to feel mistreated by the Biden administration.

He was there just for his campaign, I don't think he really cares about bitcoin that he would take the time to attend a bitcoin conference that he wasn't interested in before.

He is just a politician and a businessman, he only thinks about what is profitable for him, even when he promises a lot of things about bitcoin and its future in the US, I'm not sure that he will fulfill all those promises, and in the end it will only equate him with other politicians and nothing more; you could say he is only a little better than biden, but not much better.

The skeptical me is beginning to speculate that this procryptoness of the team of Trump might be because they are antiCBDC and antibanker. Why do they do this?
