Once upon a time I have visited casino with my girlfriend and decided to try luck by triggering the lever of the slot machine. I did it virtually infinite times and all in vain. Yes as long as I am gambling with the amount of money that I can afford to lose. Like I have mentioned before on a post today but of a higher percentage now that if you earn $500 weekly and you gamble with 5% of it which is $25 and you go for $1 slot games. You can gamble as many as possible times and you may hit the jackpot. If you did not hit the jackpot and you lose all, you can afford to lose the money and you stop when necessary that you should stop.

I don't know how you arrived at those numbers but the fact is that luck differs so people will always have different experience in gambling. I know gamblers that got their major win within few months of gambling and I equally know gamblers that have not had their major win even after gambler for more than a decade. What I am saying in summary is that it is practically impossible to know the duration it will take to hit a jackpot, because it is entirely based on luck. I have won some money but that is not what I will consider a major win so I'm still waiting for my major win and I do not know when it will come.

I haven't won a jackpot before, but from anytime I visits a gambler center, after the games are ended only just one person that normally win the jackpot but it's unfortunate that the jackpot haven't fall on the ticket of someone I know so well, many times it falls on someone at a different location. Jackpots are different types, and the highest of them all doesn't fall so easily (IMO) just ones. It's good to know that gamble is by luck that's why it's harder for jackpot to fall on our tickets. And you should understand that even if you buy thousands of tickets you might not still be lucky for the jackpot to fall on any of your ticket.

The probability depends on the game we used to play and it's nothing useful cause let's say you have a probability of winning 1/10 games but you can't say that you will win 1 in every 10 bets that's the probability so if a game has a probability of 1/50000 then you need to buy all that 50K tickets to ensure that win or else it's can go either way even if you bought 49,999 and failed to buy the remaining 1.

Do you know how the odds are calculated? If you try to hit a jackpot with a bet that has a 1 in 100,000 chance of winning, do you know the probability you have of hitting the jackpot when you try a second time? And the 10th time? What about the 1,000nd time?

Exactly. You are completely right about this. Fear, no matter how much you have to drive it away, is still present. It is especially surprising to watch how those who have much worse financial wealth rush into the game with the confidence of winning. But my efforts, no matter how hard I try to drive away negative thoughts, most often go unnoticed by Lady Luck. However, I have confidence that I will certainly be lucky in other endeavors.

Technically, Casino doesn’t have control on how often they will give jackpot since the game should use an RNG or blockchain to determine the result of the game which can’t be modify by the casino. Casino is just relying to the fact that they set a very low percentage for the jackpot to hit so they are confident that it will not be hit frequently.

This is just a speculation/rumor but I heard that some slot games especially physical slot game machine usually gather money first from player losses before they can give jackpot to random players that will play the machine when the target was hit.

We know too little to objectively assess his reaction. It is even possible that he is simply emotionally reserved or that this amount of winnings is insignificant for him.

You can calculate that, for example if the lotery has 64 numbers and the user need to choose 6 of them, then you do the math:

64x63x62x61x60x59...

that way the chance to hit that jackpot is 1/53981544960 or 0.000000000018% chance.

I remember when i decided to hit an x300,000 on Dice, it took me close to 500,000 bets, so, luck is a fact when we are talking about big multipliers, but with the right balance and lots of bets you can always chase them by brute-force.

This is a good proof of the fact that people don't understand probability. If they had it calculated and the number before their eyes, they'd never buy a ticket. They'd know it's money thrown away.

But yes we do expect the jackpot to be present in our lives, at least once in the course of life, but I also haven't gotten it so far and it's quite boring because I've never hit the jackpot.
