Why you need to get rich

For me, as long as I have enough resources that's needed to take care of my needs, it means I'm already rich. I mustn't have all the wealth like most millionaires have or live in a building that's damn big and sophisticated before I ascribe myself as a rich dude, those things are not bad and actually goes on to make life easier and a bit better but they aren't criteria or indices that goes on to show that one is actually rich.

My definition of riches has always fitted more with self than any sort of comparison with a third party and then I found out that there are a lot of helpless people around my locality that need help and it won't be a bad thing if I would be able to assist them in my own little way. It's mostly about self and then you discover that there are a lot of things you could do for society if you can just put in an additional effort. If you're wealthy, you've in one way or another laid a good starting point for the next generation that's coming behind you to start better, and the possibility of them doing better than you becomes very high which adds an advantage to what your wealth has been able to achieve.

If all things be equal, we all wish to live a happy and fulfilled life and even though money cannot give complete happiness but it is good to have money even have it more in abundance because we have a short time to spend in this world and it will be very unfortunate to live a wretched and poor life within this short time we have to spend in the world so whichever way we can make this money legitimately without defrauding other people of their hard earned money I think we should go for it. There is peace and comfort is having money because you get to do whatever you want, live a luxurious lifestyle, lend a helping hand to the less privileged and just feel okay in life. You will never know how good money is till you find yourself swimming in wealth, you live life differently from the way the average person lives in the society, almost everything is within your reach, you get the privilege to meet other wealthy and influencial people and you get high connections that will further create more wealth for you so it's really a good feeling to be wealthy.

I think I agree with you, sometimes as a millionaire or billionaire its not easy to live with having so much money because at some point walking alone isn't going to be too comfortable for you or doing things other people do but if you're financially stable like being in-between millionaires or billionaires you can be yourself, go to where you want without thinking of being kidnapped or something like that. So to me I'd go with having money that whenever issues arises I can turn up for anybody rather becoming a target. Everyone would like to be millionaires or billionaires but the question is can you handle the pressure that comes with it?🤔

It's not about become millionaire or billionaire will make you get kidnapped, without being a millionaire, you can still get kidnapped if you're a good looking person, popular or looks richer than them.

People always attracted with pretty women or handsome men, so if you born to be good looking person, you need to be careful.

I don't think that counts but in the cases of kidnaping everyone is a victim not only the poor but the rich too and you'd agree with me that it is mainly the rich who suffers kidnapping, they are the main target and you won't want to start wastingbyour energy on a poor man demanding a huge sum of money knowing quite alright that he doesn't have a penny, as a kidnapper you'd go for the bigger fish.
About the rich they don't need to do much to attract attention but you see the poor, they need a lot work to get into the eyes of the kidnappers, is like you're looking for trouble where there is non. So that's just it, although we all need to be careful with how we relate with people and I prefer keeping it simple if my wealth is in between like I'm neither poor or rich.

I don't have a dream to become rich. By saying rich, I mean millionaire or something similar. I just want to have enough money for my needs and that I would be able to spend it without thinking can I afford it. Offcourse, having millions wouldn't be bad, but it's not that would be one of my goals.

I like your thoughts but millions you say in what currency, if it dollars fine but if it's in our currency (NAIRA) I prefer to have trillions because the value is gradually reducing and right now am still in thousand not hundreds of thousands and things are not getting better which I don't know how the value will be in the next two-three years because it's up and down everyday not stable

There are many famous people in history who had become wealthy who were once poor like other ordinary individuals. I think richness is different from have one time money if there is not proper management, I consider but lottery or inheritance as free money because you didn't wok for it that's why I consider it to be one time money not richness.

It may seem so from your own place, but money alone is not enough. Yes you may outwardly think that the rich man is very happy that he lacks nothing. If you talk to a rich man and ask him what he lacks, he must say that he needs more. Basically, a man can never be completely happy even if he has a lot of money. So whatever your financial capacity you should be content with it because if the creator is not kind to you then you will not be rich no matter how hard you try. How do we judge the classification of being rich though? Is being rich having lots of money but on your own with no family or friends, is that rich? My definition of being rich is being happy, surrounded by good people & not having to worry about money. You don’t need to be dripping in money to be rich, there are many things that together, may make you feel rich.

Yes the truth remain that to some people they see been rich in different angle that is were perception come in but in the appropriate way is not far from what you have which speak volume in my heart, been rich for me required all things been equal not just the financial endorsement but feel of people around you, how friendly you have impacted around people in the environment you find yourself and so on, for me if ia m rich it will not completely if I failed to impact people around me where I can feel more safe and secure because that is what make that my richness completely because it's my desire to be a light around people who happens to be around me.

Is being able to travel around the world not part of financial independence? I am sure that if a lot of us were rich, we would all want to travel and do various things someone poor cannot do. Nonetheless, one must acknowledge that becoming rich is not easy; it requires dedication and hard work as its prerequisites.

We all know that money can't completely solve everything in the life of humans but having money makes them feel so comfortable and relaxed in life even feel fulfilled because what are we all struggling each day to have if not Money? Money can basically make a lot of things and life easier for people because the economy of the world is already affecting majority of the world population but the rich don't feel the impact much because almost everything they need is at their disposal and they get whatever they need without caring about the cost of living because in return they still make more wealth for themselves. Having money is just equivalent to solving more than half of humans problems in life. Every thing in the world now revolves around money because if there is no money it would have been difficult to develop most technologies now that is helping to solve humans problems. No one gets enough of himself so everyone is basically looking forward to things that are productive and can fetch more money to their treasury.

You're right, being privileged to travel the world means that you have the financial capacity and you're able to do it. But I think with most of the travellers, they're not really financially free but they're able to provide that for themselves because they want to and it's part of their routine.

So they allot a budget on it even though they're like average people that can live comfortably. But as for the truly rich people, they're capable to do that without financial hesitation and budgeting.

While others look at it as a pleasure, a deserving pleasure that they need to satisfy themselves in doing so. They do it for the experience as most
of them believe YOLO.

It feels unfair sometimes since others do not even need to work for money since they were born in wealth while for others, it can even take most of their life working and trying to be rich. Most of the time people even die poor.

Let's just accept that the world is unfair and use it as a motivation to work smarter after you've put hardwork.

But in fact, not all of the rich people now have been born with silver spoon but self made.
