Are Casinos Really Different from Regular Scams?

By using technology and mathematical principles to take money from people, casinos seem very much like Ponzi to me. I admit that I have written many casino articles. What I have noticed about me is that something keeps telling me that I'm helping the wrong guys whenever I write gambling articles. I never feel this sense of guilt when I write for other big clients, such as hardware wallets and mixers. Why always with casinos?

Compounding the issue are the many scam allegations against them on this forum. Why do they allow people to make deposits while breaching their TOS, play and lose, but never pay them when they win, citing breach of terms?

Who else believes that casinos are borderline scams that are practically ruining people's lives? I think casinos, instead of mixers, should have been axed.

Victims do not know that someone wants to scam them. It happens before they will know that it is scam.

Casinos are providing risky games to entertain people. On the casino ToS, you will see that people should not gamble because they want to make money. That they should gamble for fun and entertainment. Gamblers consent to that before they can proceed to finish registration on the gambling site.

Gambling sites generally are not scam because gamblers consent to their terms of service.

I think scam accusations isn't an appropriate section for this discussion, but I'm not sure which section fit it, either service discussion or gambling discussion.

I'm not sure if you ever write an article about exchange, but I think exchange did same, they allow to trade, but when you want to withdraw or cash out, they may ask something and if they didn't satisfied with it, they can do something.

I have an experience with banks, they offer easy way for me to open an account, but whenever I ask to close my account since I didn't use it anymore and they still charge monthly fee, it's really hard for them to close my account, they will give many excuses.

"regular scams" try to deceive you as much as possible in order to get your money while casinos try to present to you all the necessary things you need to know about how they operate. the only reason why casino/gambling ruins people's lives is because gambling can be addicting and people failing to control themselves.

Why create a discussion like this here when you are not complaining about any specific casino, you should get your facts about casinos.

It clearly states that casinos are entertainment portals and not platforms to make money, people are losing money because of a misconception that they can make money instead of being there for entertainment.

If a casino does not pay its winners, we have ways to make the casino pay, and the casino that does this will lose its reputation in the community.

Yeah, I can see why you'd think that. Casinos do use math to stack the odds in their favor, but many of them are legit businesses with rules and regulations to follow. The main difference is that you know what you're getting into. That being said, there are definitely some shady ones out there that'll try to screw you over, so you gotta be careful who you're dealing with.

Casino is a business just like any other business. Wrong gang can be in the industry but that do not mean the whole industry is corrupted. As long as it's a form of entertainment for their customers it's all good but problem creates when a customer try to make it a business from it. You can not treat casino is a business for you, it's a business for the house.

When you read the terms, and you hit agree, you carry all the risks and consequences of all the violations you committed; if you think you are clean, then we have venues to make the casino address the bad decision they made.

Casinos are regulated and they tax too.  They always win since the odds are always on their side and so the reason you may think they are scams but that's the challenge a gambler should take. Mixers however couldn't be regulated, its meant to make transactions untraceable while they are good for crypto users, it's not for the government who wants to make money.

I agree with some of your points, and I think many people here are very naive or dishonest, and are afraid to say something about scams from some offshore crypto casinos because they think they will lower their chances to get enrolled in signature campaigns from gambling sites IMO. But you shouldn't stigmatize all of casinos and gambling sites. Some of them try to be ethical and customer friendly as much as they can, and to take care of their reputation. In addition, blockchain technology helps to make this activity safer with provably fair features and Web3 decentralized platforms. So it could change in the coming years and 100% fair and safe gambling may emerge.

You're wrong, this board is not dedicated to casinos but surprisingly or not, exchanges cases are very rare.

This can be your personal feeling because when you do not like something, the inner self will make you feel that it is wrong. And by the casino are not only made to take money away from you, there are gamblers who are winning money too and more they are enjoying the process.

Now that's a separate thing. Here you are accusing the casino of foul play and scam. Well, not all casinos are scams. There are many trusted one too who will always return your winnings to you without any issue. Its gambler fault if you (gamblers) are unable to find a trusted casino and got scam by untrusted ones.

Nop, you cannot compare mixers and casinos as both are providing totally different types of services. The one model does not fit in the other one and it is not wise to treat both of them similarly.

Not all casinos are scams, and it is wrong to make such a conclusion by referring to casinos as borderline scam, because by making such statement you are already judging all the operating casinos and classifying them all as scams which is far from the truth in this situation, there is no gain saying that some few of the casinos may become scams along the way, but still on that we can't say that there is no legit casinos among them, and one thing we should know is that, we need to understand the operation principle of some of this casinos, because at some level, even the most reputable casino may still have pending cases against them, and sometimes, their never attend to such demands as for withholding players funds, sometimes those players are guilty of the crime the casino accuse them off.
We have scam casinos like 1xbita and the rest exposed scam casinos and we always advice people to stay away from such casinos, and to only play on casinos that they have confidence of withdrawal at all time without any trouble's, since casinos is a revenue oriented business, the owners don't joke with anything that has to do with finances and if a gambler win genuinely, then there is no point holding on to their money for some shady reasons.
