I just think I am among those who joined bounties when it was less rewarding. I can say that almost all the bounties I promoted in the past were time-wasting, and their rewards weren't encouraging to say that you will keep doing to earn big like others who did bounties during the ICO days around 2017-2021. However, I would say I was misinformed about bounties in my early days in the forum as a newbie that bounties pay. All the same, since I learned my lesson that bounties days are far over, I desist from participating in them because they aren't worth someone's time to promote them.

You may not participate in inappropriate bounties because 2017-2021 is still the heyday of high income bounties, I may still actively join bounties in that year with the highest income reaching $ 2k, so we have to learn several things to select bounties of potential projects so you don't waste time participating in bounty scams. However, in 2021 and above there will be many bounties from projects that have no potential, until now there are not many bounty hunters anymore because many bounty projects are scams.

TBH, you will not know the future of those projects that are launching bounty campaign out there. I mean out of 100 projects, there might be 1 or 2 that might be the next top 100 in terms of market cap. Out of 100 projects that are in the bounty section right now, there might be 1 or 2 that might explode and get hyped in the future. Of course, this isn't a certainty and most of the time, those that are launching their bounty campaigns out there ending up as a failed project or a rug pull at worst.

Will they worth something? Most of them aren't, but if you're lucky, you might get tokens that might have some value in the future. There are times where the managers are taking their time rewarding these bounty hunter for some reasons, but there are some who aren't even paying those who advertised them in various platforms. Have I made anything from bounties? Back in 2017-2018, I made around $400-$500 maybe in different campaigns, but there are some who are getting more than a thousand dollars just by promoting the project for free. Nowadays, that's long gone already because a bounty hunter is considered lucky if they get at least 10$ on one campaign.

Do I found bounty campaign worthless? Kind of and as much as I don't want to say bad things to it, I find bounty campaigns a waste of time already, and I know many will agree with me.

Not all tokens are worth promoting. Nowadays, I see many Memescoins and tokens linked to fake projects and rug pull tokens, so not everything being promoted now on the Bounties board is worth it. Additionally, many new bounty managers promote nonsense here; they only care about the fees they've received from these project teams and not about maintaining their reputation. Participants may end up with tokens they can't trade or stuck in their wallets with no value in the future.

Although I am one of the people who retired from working in bounties years ago, this does not prevent the fact that there are well-known bounty managers with high-quality projects worth working on. Also, conducting research should be a top priority before joining any bounty.

Currently, most bounty projects do not pay, but there is no liquidity to exchange the project's tokens, although some bounty campaigns do.  It is said that most of the current bounty projects are scams and only some USDT paying projects are ok. I haven't received anything from the bounty to mention but have completed several projects which are still not paying.

Even if they do distribution, what you get will be very small in value or no value, useless at all. So it does not worth your time to work with bounties and hope that you will be rewarded, and distributed fairly and good enough in value.

Rather than wasting time to bounties that you know clearly that there is small chance to get good reward, you can use your time for learning, finding jobs, getting salary and using it to buy Bitcoin, Ethereum and tokens you like.

Maybe many people ignore the bounty campaign and don't want to work, but many people don't know the work that has to be done here to earn money. I won't say that I'm proud of some projects that I promoted through sig campaigns, which ended up being bad - but as far as I remember, there weren't more than 2 in all this time since I've been on the forum.

Some people will do everything for a little money and I understand to some extent that some don't have much of a choice, but still don't participate in bounties that are an obvious scam, you won't get anything, and you'll also be helping the scammer to do his dirty work.

I don’t know why I think you’re sounding like someone who is already feed up with bounties even before they start 😂 but regardless, there are people who are doing absolutely well off bounties and as hard it might seem to believe, but it's just the bitter truth and it doesn’t seem profitable to you doesn’t also mean others aren’t combing in some reasonable amounts from bounties by doing the right thing and joking the right bounties.
Some persons might want to ask me, how we they know which bounty is a good one (sorry to say that, I also don’t know because I really don’t do bounties and can’t actually remember doing anyone in recent time) but there are people who know this things.

The era of bounty is gradually fading out and now many airdrops is through project apps and telegram linkage.
Bounty can be very profitable but these days things are not the way they was before. We could make a lot of money from bounty few years ago but now, it is very hard because many of the crypto projects are now creating their own apps and linking their sites with telegram. We have seen so many airdrops on telegram these days both the ones that have launched and the ones that are yet to be launched. There are still few bounties that can be very profitable for us if we know  how to identify them.

I think you are right to wonder if bounties are worth it but we should also recognize that some people are actually making money from them. Just because of it does not work for everyone does not mean we should ignore success of those who have found good bounties. It is hard to tell which bounties are genuine but some people have figured out how to spot good ones. While many bounties and airdrops are scams there are some real ones that have paid out but they have much users so there reward becomes nothing after distribution. To navigate bounties effectively we need to be cautious and do our research.

I think you are right to wonder if bounties are worth it but we should also recognize that some people are actually making money from them. Just because of it does not work for everyone does not mean we should ignore success of those who have found good bounties. It is hard to tell which bounties are genuine but some people have figured out how to spot good ones. While many bounties and airdrops are scams there are some real ones that have paid out but they have much users so there reward becomes nothing after distribution. There is one common talk in the cryptocurrency community which is “Do Your Own Research (DYOR)” is a very popular phrase because it’s a regular reminder that, regardless of whatever information we get, we should always do our own research so as to be responsible for every actions we take.
I still maintain my point that, regardless of what people think about bounties, there are still very good bounties that are still actually profitable and example is the current bounty by royse that offered cash rewards.

Over hype has made a whole lot of altcoins because very useless and this is because most holders of a new coin project already has the mentality of dumping the moment a coin is launched possible after been airdropped or rewarded or maybe bought from presale and this alone explains why most coins and projects become useless even after distributing their coins

Indeed, bounty campaigns have provided an extraordinary attraction for people to join forums with the aim of bounty campaigns.

currently, there are still bounty campaigns, not because of the few projects. but bounty managers are also more selective in choosing projects, as well as bounty hunters who will not join carelessly because of the many scam projects.

I am impressed with the way you express yourself in this bounty discussion. Many people have earned a lot of money from bounties in the past, the money some people will make in one project is more than what they will earn in weekly payment signature campaigns for five months or more because people were making thousands of dollars from bounties in the past. But now, people hardly make $100 from bounties because the alocaions are smaller than it used to be and the participants are much compared to before and the projects are also not jenue as they used to be.
Now, bounties are worthless, they aren't worth our time anymore, and scammers have taken over the bounty space because 75% of the projects are not paying anything, and even if they do, the tokens are worthless, so don't waste your time on bounties now.

Yep you are really know that, are you one of the many of bounty hunter like I did haha. Indeed is very hard nowadays to get a new bounty that really pays well since bitcointalk is no longer one-stop place like it used too. Today project usually comes from twitter and other social media like telegram.

and to be honest I do agree with Hypen because Bounty is not really a thing right now especially here in bitcointalk unless you are pro that can found bug in a project and they moved into airdrop which for me is exactly same as a bounty but sometime is more rewarding and usually its happen outside the bitcointalk forum

I have never tried Bounty. Because I never found it interesting. Bounty has always felt like a waste of time to me. But once upon a time bounties were profitable and many could earn from them.

nowadays I don't think there are the same bounties that there were in the past years (ICO era - 2017)

at that time it was not impossible to receive 500-1000 dollars of tokens (at least on the balance sheet...)
in general now apart from some extremely sponsored projects (example hamster kombat) it is really difficult to find activities that can be risk-free.

In those days, which you remember, bounty was the main way to attract investors' attention to the project. Now, other methods are used to obtain investments. But those companies that cannot attract the attention of investors due to the poor quality of the project come here and eventually issue a token that no one needs.
