I guess airdrops are now getting more attractive than bounties currently. I somehow feel that history is repeating itself as there was a time in the past when airdrops were good. Again we are seeing the same happening with the Solana airdrop earlier and now the TON airdrops. I feel it is better to be part of those as who doesn't want free money.

In those days, which you remember, bounty was the main way to attract investors' attention to the project. Now, other methods are used to obtain investments. But those companies that cannot attract the attention of investors due to the poor quality of the project come here and eventually issue a token that no one needs.

I have never tried Bounty. Because I never found it interesting. Bounty has always felt like a waste of time to me. But once upon a time bounties were profitable and many could earn from them.

Currently, most bounty campaigns are not successful, which may make you think so. But at one time there was an opportunity to earn a good amount of money from these bounty campaigns. Currently if someone wants to earn money from bounty he has to join USDT and escrow campaigns to ensure he gets paid.

Due to the lack of payment these days, many have abandoned the bounty and turned to airdrop. Especially Telegram bot projects have gained huge popularity. Even a few airdrops have already been successful. Which includes TON coins which have given people good profits and today DOGS Airdrop has paid among their users so many members have been able to earn money from this airdrop.

If there is no profits in the bounty campaign, I don't think participants will be there looking for campaign to join to earn some tokens in the future.

You have a choice to make in bounty campaign because nobody will force you to join the bounty campaign to help the company to promote their products, and there are some managers who will stand to help the company to employ participants and give them rules which the participants must follow to entitle for their reward from the campaign. I can still remember, that I made some tokens from bounty campaign some years ago but some disappeared from my wallet that made me to lose interest on bounty campaign, because I thought I can hodl them like the way i use to hodl BTC from signature campaign, but I regret not to spend much time on bounty campaign.

Bounties are time consuming and it's hard to make money from it.
On top of that many bounty tokens don't even get us decent returns.
We need to be really luck to make hefty returns from bounty because only a few of them make it big.
If you don't have any other means to make money then you can try your luck with them but just that don't end up spamming the forum in the process.

Attention has been shifted from bounty to airdrops. People are being paid for airdrops because I saw that some people participated in the Dogs airdrop, which got listed today, and they were paid. So for now, bounty is not really paying, and the amount which some of them pay doesn’t really worth it. So since attention has been shifted to airdrops, anyone planning to make money can just participate in them, even as we know that most of them won’t be paying, but at least a few will, and anyone that participates in it will be able to benefit from it.

Bounty was said to be the cryptocurrency money making machine in the past, but with time, the that section of the cryptocurrency industry become highly infiltrated with scams and all manner of fake projects, that took tons of bounty hunters time in promotion but never pay them or even make it to the exchange.

This made many bounty hunters to give up on bounty and at the same time bounty become so unpopular and unattractive, also we need to no that the global economic State is changing and there is no much free money any where.

Participating in bounties is actually a choice. I will not advise you anyone to join or not to join but the truth is it hardly pays nowadays, hence, it's assume as wasting of time. If you notice the bounties section you would discovered there's a significant decrease in terms of people participating and of course in terms of projects coming to advertise in the section.

 Some of these people you see participating know nothing about this space and they do anything doable since it doesn't require them to deposit money but it requires their time and data while they end up with bunch of coins that'll take forever to get listed. Some people were lucky in the past to earn a decent amount from bounties but it's a complete trash now unless you're willing to sacrifice to see whatever the outcome of it will be.

It is not entirely unprofitable this days, because bounties have a lot of up and down, and for sure there are some project's that rewards their bounty participants bountifully with so e making up to $1k or even More depending on their activities and level of token accumulations during the bounty period, but sometimes the only bounty campaign that becomes profiting for theirs participants are the one's that are introduced by few reputable members of the Forum such as Hhampuz, Yahoo and a few other bounty manager.


And to show how decline bounty rewards and quality have been lately, you see how all the reputable bounty managers mentioned above have abandoned bounty, and the reason is not far from the fact that bounty has become a total waste of time lately.

Well I don't really know much about bounty, but I guess those bounties was doing well before that was at the early stage but now I don't really know how those bounties is going anymore, bounty of nowadays is very different from the bounty we use to know before. most of those bounties you see today is scam, though it depends on the kind of bounty campaign you participate, because most people are still going in search of those bounty campaign, so I think most of those bounty can still Worth something.

Bounty boards are still busy, although there are not many new projects, but every day there are still quite a lot of active members there.
to avoid scam bounty campaigns that result in participants not receiving anything, there are bounty campaigns that pay their participants with USDT. that's quite better than paying tokens that can't be traded yet, and it takes a long time to be listed on the exchange. that's also if the project is successfully launched.
some bounty campaigns have even done escrow for payments. so it's quite calm for participants. even though the results may be very small, and may be beyond the participants' expectations.

With so much time spent on trying to figure out which altcoin is worth the risk and which is a bad investment, I don't see any bounties in the altcoin section that's worth promoting, apart from the ones paying in USDT every week from BM like Julerz12, although the payment seems small but far reliable than those shit tokens on there right now.

I don't think that good altcoins will come on here for promotions this time around, it seems hunting for altcoins are more profitable now than looking for alt bounties, it is highly likely to watse your precious time.
In the past there are so many good projects that used this forum for advertisements, some are still doing very well till date, I just don't understand what went wrong, during this period we should already be seeing new promising altcoins coming in with bounty promotions, I think that testnets are the new bounties.

I'm not totally sure as I'm not active in bounties anymore since ages, but from what I read, it seems to me like venture capital, but with time i stead of money: most bounties won't pay you well (or pay you at all) but perhaps if just a few are successful payment could compensate for all the effort.

Like we use to say about money in risky investments, when it comes to bounties invest only the time you can afford to lose...

Just to add to this one, there's a thing called "Galxe" already that launches social tasks for a project if they want to give a share of their tokens to the participants and for me, this is by far more efficient, and better compared to the current bounty campaigns here.

I'm not against those bounty campaigns that are paying altcoin here, but there are other ways to earn outside the forum already. I don't know, but the number of bounty campaigns that are being launched here decreased by a lot since it's hype a few years ago because there are some that are way better than it already. As for the USDT-paying bounty campaigns, yes there are some and most are being launched by julerz12 and the current Stake Signature campaign which is currently paying USDT but nevertheless, I will not join in any bounty campaigns here that are paying altcoins because I don't find it profitable at least for me.

If you want to hunt for altcoins, you can find outside the forum. There's plenty of them.

I made some money from it, also from claiming Coinbase rewards and such, but you had to be smart about it to make any money.

The deal is they're hoping you'll hold these tokens hoping for a pump. Usually it's best to dump everything as soon as you can and avoid tokens that trade on shady exchanges only. I wouldn't bother to register and do KYC on some new exchange just co claim $10 of a token that I may or may not be able to sell there.

Most new altcoins eventually die and out of those that survive only a handful goes through a FOMO phase. You either hold them all in hope that you can profit from that one lucky coin, or you safely dump them all and make a few bucks consistently. Your choice.

In the past there are so many good projects that used this forum for advertisements, some are still doing very well till date, I just don't understand what went wrong, during this period we should already be seeing new promising altcoins coming in with bounty promotions, I think that testnets are the new bounties.

Despite everything happening in the cryptocurrency market, I am also expecting one or two bounties that will give its participants good and responsible amount of money; but it seems like crypto space has diverted to another way of bringing up new projects. Telegram and TON network is the new trend, and most bounty projects are on BSC chain, and I also think that new project owners find another ways to advertise their projects easily than this forum.

There are bounties going in the bounty section, but most of them will not pay big amount of money because there allocations are small and the number of participants are much and most of the projects do turn out to be scam.

Gone are those days when bounties where a good deal for anyone that gets to participate in them. As time evolves, they don’t pay as before and members are not more taking it serious again. For those that joined bounties in the early days, they certainly made a lot of money because by then the crypto market is yet to be saturated as it is now. Big job, few participants and big allocations are common then. I don’t know if those days will be coming again, but it seems the narratives have now shifted to the telegram based mini app games and the TON network.

The market is changing, we might see another transgression in the next cycle and may be nothing compared to this again. One thing with bounty, don’t expect much and hope they don’t scam participants and not pay them their money because that is common in bounty. If you’re lucky enough, only one payment will conver for all the time you’ve put in to do all the bounties. It’s all a game of luck luck. You may be profitable and may not, just make up your mind to accept whatever outcome you get from them.

I made good amounts back in 2017-2020 from altcoin bounties but nothing much after that, today there is both lack of quantity and quality; you could argue there was quality campaigns even then but at least there was market for tokens with good price in most cases.

I've heard my senior friends discuss about bounties and they also attest the projects were highly profitable as they made more than they do with campaigns now but they also mentioned the time was within the range you mentioned and has passed. They said bounties are not as trustworthy and profitable in the past.
