Have You Made Anything from Bounties?

I made good amounts back in 2017-2020 from altcoin bounties but nothing much after that, today there is both lack of quantity and quality; you could argue there was quality campaigns even then but at least there was market for tokens with good price in most cases.

I've heard my senior friends discuss about bounties and they also attest the projects were highly profitable as they made more than they do with campaigns now but they also mentioned the time was within the range you mentioned and has passed. They said bounties are not as trustworthy and profitable in the past.

This is not a lie as there are third-party platforms out there that are attractive to new projects instead of this forum, for example Galxe and Zealy, if you aren't lazy you will surely make some money through these two, I have junior brothers that are using these platforms andand their feedback have been so good so far.

I really hope that something can be done so that new projects can come back on here for social campaigns and others, the stories of past bounties on this forum is so exciting, you will feel like going back in time and join.

Someone told me he was able to finish up his house because of the ICO race in 2017, he said he made a lot of money just from one single project, I don't think that such will ever happen again since there are too many options now.

Haha, nice topic anyway I'm not sure if this topic is already discussed by me or not but yup I will comment on it from a different perspective if I already did a reply, TBH I did make a few bucks, but now the trend has changed the marking got a new way, the airdrop point system which is much more effective for both participants and team as well, even though rewards are super duper low haha I'm not sure why I'm using this duper, anyway sticking to topic OP try TG bots and other Airdrop opportunities.

Years ago bounties were promising since many participants got paid when accepted to the bounty. Years later due to bounties being trending, scammers use it to scam people and that's the time bounties trend died down and you can hardly find bounties that pays. During that time, I only made $23 within 1 month and $130+ from a bounty of same duration while the rest is that I didn't even get a single.

I don't know how people participated in bounties in the past but with the way it is discussed, I don't think it's as difficult as these TG bots and airdrops. I'm not saying airdrops are difficult to participate either but these TG bots are full of various projects that end up being scams or dust projects and it would have already consumed a lot of time and energy from the users or participants. Since this isn't an airdrops topic,so  I won't say much regarding airdrops or even mention examples but I suppose these airdrops projects are not as reliable and profitable as bounties are because I'm pretty an active user of airdrops too.

Most people have only seen bounty as a waste of time because majority of them all were nothing than a waste of time, if we are going for bounties, then we must be able to know that it's really worth it, we shouldn't invest much of our resources on them, especially when we are just starting, there is need for having more understanding on what bounties are and the way many of them turned a scam project, but nevertheless, some are still profitable nevertheless.

Way the current trend is — the amounts of tasks you are asked to do to be eligible for rewards, there is only bounties remaining, it's just for some reason we are still calling them airdrops.

In the past when this Bounty was very widespread on the forum it gave a reward that was quite worth it in my opinion, just a few years now it is not so worth it if the reward given is their coin, especially if it has no conversion to other currency values, it will only be a waste of time and it is much better that you participate in other events that have a history of providing optimal results for you, now the most worth it is the Signature Champaign on the economy board, rather than the Bounty it is much better. IMO

You can't tell. Sometimes, you might earn good money from a bounty campaign but sometimes it's just dust amounts. So it's like gambling with your time because all you have to do is spend some time to complete the tasks and get rewarded for it, they say time is money, but in this case, the value of your time is unknown.

The reason why it takes long for participants to get rewarded is that bounty campaigns are paid with native tokens of the projects, and tokens are only available after the TGE (Token Generation Event), so they ask participants to promote the project and in return get tokens as a reward when the project reaches the TGE and listing stage.

Some on bounties board are signature campaigns but payments in altcoins like USDT. I do not know why those are on bounty board because they are signature campaigns. Payment are in altcoins and can be profitable.

Let me tell you why. The Services section is only for services/campaigns that pay their participants in Bitcoin. If a campaign or a service has its payment in an altcoin, it doesn't belong there. That is the reason why signature campaigns that are paying their participants in USDT are posted in Bounties (Altcoin) section because it's not about being a signature campaign or a bounty campaign, it's about the payment method being used. If a bounty campaign decides to pay its participants with Bitcoin, it can be posted in Services section.

Bounties was one of the cheapest way to make money in the crypto market then without any investment. Many of us participated in bounty which gave us a hedge over signature campaigns. Now the era of bounty is fading aways just like when NFT was trending with lots of projects to invest in. Now the era of bounty is faded away and we are now seeing different forms of airdrops in the market. Many crypto projects are not participating in bounties again which can be expensive and can only last for few weeks depending on the project type. We are now seeing crypto projects creating their apps, linking their site to telegram making it easier for investors and users to participate without stress.

To be frank I didn't do bounty and stuff , the reason is that is not all bounties that will actually pay , some will just endup wasting your time, while some may be legit but won't worth much . So when I came to this forum at first , I got to point that I was planning to engage in bounties a d start earning through it . But at the end, I  endup not doing it . Rather I focus on building my account so that I will be able to participate on campaigns like the other snr members. So I focus on learning first because without learning you won't be able to understand how this space and this forum work , and without proper knowledge you won't be able to build your account.

But now it all worth it so I advice you to focus on the learning so that you can post your account also , and as time goes yoh will see it all worth it.

Due to various reasons especially cheating, lack of projects, telegram bot facilities etc. currently the bounty section has become unimportant. It is also doubtful whether the bounty section will be the same in the distant future.

Yes there was a time Bounty department was very busy people used to earn a lot of money from it.  But currently the bounty department has reached such a position that people are no longer able to earn any money from it.  But in the future, I don't think the bounty section will be good.  Currently any project running Telegram Tap Tap Bot campaign is getting viral and success in no time.  If telegram tap tap every campaign is successful like this then I don't think bounty section will be good next time.

I am not talking about bounties but I joined a review campaign in market place section but they have not paid me ofcource to all, wasted my time. So before joining think twice
and check reputation of campaign managers and funds escrowed or not. We are all struggling to earn money.

Some of the bounty hunters from before have already switched to joining signature campaigns or campaigns that pay in BTC. I was a bounty hunter too, but I stopped after the 2017 bull run. It slowed down because altcoins were hit hard by the number of scams at that time, so fewer people were investing. Even if there was a good project, the rewards weren’t that great, so overall, it became really tough to earn from bounties.

From the little time I have spent on this platform, I was able to access the bounty thread to see for myself and i realized that it was another place of activities on this platform. This thread if I am  not mistaken is an alt publicity department where projects launch their campaign and pay in their own local token to the partakers who took part in the exercise. Most at times these project does not really come out as they are supposed to be and the participants can not be compensated but time and efforts all gone.

These bounty campaign projects most times are not guaranteed as no one knows what would be the outcome of them taking part in the campaign unless the token  is escrowed in the custody of the campaign manager and even at then some still do not see the light of  the day  not to talk of distributing the token to them.

Base what I've read before here in community I guess last four or six years before one of the biggest earning can be is the bounty campaign and I didn't even experience that way. Bounty can be good to gain money and not at the same time why because if you found a poor project possible you are just promoting them to nothing and the value of their coin is not much have a value at all but of course the opposite of it is you chance to get good project and pay really well. I didn't join bounties once I join here I just came across into BTC signature campaign. So join at your own risk.

That is right and I think it is smart move that some bounty hunters have switched to signature campaigns which we can say BTC paying campaigns. And you are right after 2017 cryptocurrency bounty hunting became less profitable due to scams and decreased investment. Even good projects offered low rewards making it tough to earn living. It was wise to exit bounty hunting then. Now adapting to changing market conditions is good and exploring alternative opportunities like signature campaigns may provide more stability and rewards.

Yes, there was a time bounty was invoke like the way telegram not mining is now. I think bounty campaigns can reinstate their trust in people if they properly set up their campaign and pay people, because there are people losing trust in it when they are done completing the task, and have to wait for two weeks or more before they are paid. Then sometimes you don't get your payment again because of all this Telegram bot mining, people have channeled their focus there, even companies that run bounty campaigns have started building Telegram projects reducing the number of  bounty campaigns.

But there are still some bounties that people can earn with now, just that it is not as rampant as before, they are not so plentiful. There was a time when bounty was invoked and almost everybody were bounty hunters and everything, but now it has reduced. So it did pay when it was invoked, but if companies can reinstate it and build trust by actually paying people and maintaining the campaigns for a long time then it's going to work.
