News just breaking. Shots fired at a President Trump rally in Pennsylvania. President Trump has been attacked at a rally and it looks like he got clipped on the ear or side of his head by something. He looks to be okay though and the security detail have him extracted from the scene. Hopefully he is okay.

The shooting unfolded as Trump addressed supporters at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.  

Frantic scenes took hold as shots rang out as Trump supporters raced from the event.

As Trump pumped his fist to the crowd, some were heard cheering his name and chanting 'USA' and 'Make America Great Again.'

There is no early information regarding who the shooter may have been or if any arrests have been made at the event.

Gunshots have reportedly been fired at Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania, with the former president rushed off-stage by security staff.

Trump appeared to fall to the ground as he was giving a speech. He was quickly surrounded by armed security and stayed down for around a minute.

He then rose to his feet and put his fist in the air, before being escorted off stage and into a vehicle, and then driven away from the scene.

Video appeared to show blood on his ear as he was taken away.

Republican senator for Ohio, J.D Vance, said in a post on the X social media platform: "Everyone join me in praying for our President Trump and everyone at that rally. I hope everyone is ok."

It's dangerous if the gunner was not killed before that. Trump can be shot more and die but the moment shows he is strong or want to impress people that he is strong. He was very lucky as between his ear and his head, it's small difference that can decide his life.

Many conspiracy theories will rise more from this event and failed assassination against Trump.

I believe Trump would pull such a stunt (I was NOT surprised this happened), but apparently the shooter and an innocent were killed.   Trump would have a harder time convincing someone to sacrifice their life for him - shooting in his direction, but not at him.

I am not talking about there is no sick people in the country who is never supposed to have access to weapons, though. Obviously, there was a serious fail of security by the secret service, they allowed an armed man to get to the top of a roof in the middle of a rally, being held by one of the two biggest candidates and favorites to win in the coming election.
This incident was not supposed to end up with one or two people getting their lives taken away, but rather end up with some formal communication someone who was a suspect as detained by secret service in the grounds of the rally.

The implications of this happening today in the heat of the campaign is unbelievable, politically and at a societal level, it is very scary.

Even before this attack Trump was already elected. The attack just boosted his victory and the idolatry around his image. An attack like that will be heavily explored by his campaign until the end, displaying how violent and contradictory are his opponents, since they talk all the time about pacifism, love and democracy, while trying to murder the candidate of the republican party for the presidency of the United States.

Moreover, several leftists will start posting on social media they are sad for the shot not having hit Trump, and then their posts will be printed and shared by Trump's supporters as evidence of how despicable democrats are.

This story is so repetitive and predictable... It was said Joe Biden called Trump after the attack. I imagine how confused Biden must have been regards what happened and on what he should have told Trump during the call.

To be fair, the average person in the United States is only aware of the facist salute and nothing beyond it, they learn it from school and history class. the communist salute as lost much relevance and identity/association with the political left, from now on I would not be surprised if people started to call it "Trump fight salute". The orange man still had enough common sense after almost getting killed to keep his fist closed.
