What happened here? Yes, it was a project scam. The bounty manager cheated the bounty hunters.

I believe it's the project manager that give high promises, while the manager only manage the campaign, although he can verify it before he launch the campaign. According to the spreadsheet they only pay 1,100 tokens, so the project manager think their coins will be worth almost $1/coin. But the reality this coin only worth $0.00000048037 per coin and it has been listed since May 2024, before the campaign launched.

Can't really say the campaign manager is scam since other campaigns did same, so if people think this is scam, most of campaign managers that manage bounty should be red tagged. I would call this is a trick to make the bounty hunters interested to participate.

no one knows clearly the right number of tokens for bounty allocation. I'm also not sure it's a 4k token amount. the final spreadsheet shows even smaller numbers.
but if you look at the address used to distribute tokens, that address received a deposit of 10k tokens. and after distribution, there are still 2k tokens left at that address.

You may have to communicate with the project team to get more evidence regarding the number of tokens they allocated for the bounty. The total token supply is very large. the allocation may also not be small. but you also don't need to expect much from the token value.

Anyway, you have to show some actual proof of the scam if you want people to take this seriously.

A general disclaimer should be put in the bounty section stating join at your own risk. The manager may have been shipped 4k value in the token according to the presale or whatever or he may have been shipped way more than he is distributing. Is there an address that shows what he was transferred? Has anyone messaged the manager about this thread to see if they respond?

If the token is on the presale, then the manager can value it based on their presale price, but if it's already being traded on the exchange, then they have to follow the price on the market, and based on Pancakeswap its not even $1, the bounty manager needs some explaining to do, this is misleading for bounty hunters.

Have you contacted the Bounty manager and told them about your or other Bounty participants' complaints about why the token distribution does not match the value stated in the Bounty article.

You should contact the manager and tell them your complaint.

The spreadsheet shows that the total rewards is above 4K $ACI tokens. I’m not sure what’s the market price use to determine the price of the token but typically they are using the IDO price is high since the token price dump immediately right after it was listed on exchange.

You should provide proof that the Bounty manager sent 4K $ACI only since the spreadsheet total shows different total tokens to be distributed because Twitter plus Reddit alone only shows a total of 4500 ACI tokens to be distribute.

The bounty manager did not communicate it properly, of course, people will think it was already the token distribution.

He should have announced the gift before sending it to participants instead of announcing it after, and if its a free gift, then everyone who is in the campaign should receive it, unless they announced it as specific to one campaign.

Based on what I see on the campaign thread, it says $4k worth of $ACI and from what you’ve stated here, you guys got $ACI tokens instead and ACI is valued way below a dollar.

Well, I think the issue here is an issue of comprehension, mainly from the managers side to have not convey a proper information on the thread. Since, tokens distributed had some similarity in number to what was promised. We might say it’s as a result of bad communication from the managers side but, I don’t think it’s a full fledged scam.

That is what you usually get when you are involved with random token campaigns, but I didn't see a single proof for your claims about cheating and scam.
Nobody should tag or give ''sanctions'' (whatever that is) to anyone based on the word of another forum member.
That being said, I see a lot of changes in thelostbtc account, and it has long periods of inactivity, so there is a possibility account ownership changed.

This is one of such risk with bounty hunters and the manager or the team, the lack of transparency and accountability is what have affected the trust level in that section, and at some point we have to avoid those bounties since the rate of success is low and even if you eventually get paid for a long period of work on the bounty, the token won't be worth anything in the market in terms of value and what have you, so for that before you participate in any bounty, then you should make sure to always take extra step to fine out what the conditions are and who is managing the bounty, how transparent the manager and what to actually expect from the team, how sustainable the project is and what is their long term perspective.
Either one thing have gone wrong in this situation, is either the manager receive the rewards in the 4k dollar equivalent or in their tokens, it all depends on the value of the token that where you can know what actually happened.

The project is not a scam, at least not based on what you claim. You just misinterpreted the bounty fund.

When are you bounty hunters going to stop signing up for every campaign that offers some scraps? $4k in some shit token (at an unrealistic price), which will be worth at least 10x less when they become tradeable. Even when it is divided among 1000 participants, it is expected that everyone will receive $0.5 each at best.
Is it worth any effort?

Plus, it is something else entirely that the promotion via Bounty Hunter is also worth nothing.
