I notice that we have a function called “unlock time”

Quote
his is exably how long it takes your computer to unlock your wallet after you have entered your passphrase. If someone got ahold of your wallet, this is approximately how long it would take them to for each guess of your passphrase.

in my case: 1.235 sec

Something like that. KDF params ballpark the time to unlock the wallet on the current machine.

This is estimated and set at wallet creation, so the machine you create the wallet on matters. Create a wallet on modern beast and it will take 10sec to unlock on your 2010 laptop. Do the opposite and it will take 0.1sec.

You have to option to pick the KDF params manually at wallet creation (in expert mode). Caveat emptor.
