We have been advocating for responsible gambling in this forum, but there will be a time or circumstances when you lose control. When I lose control of my bets, I usually run out of money for my family's budget, which results in financial difficulties I have to take a loan to cover expenses.

Despite that, I kind of think you aren't having a tightened decipline in place which helps you to stick to plans or Budgets.

Also, one of my friends suffered from heart palpitation because of overexcitement from long hours of playing; in my case, I sometimes felt a headache even though I won from over-excitement that I carried even in my sleep, which is why I limit myself from betting on horse races, I replace it with betting in a lottery, sometimes you gotta do what you have to do to combat the bad effects of too much gambling.

You can reduce the time you spend in gambling or stay off a bit.

And as for my pockets, I do not break the bank to do that. If it is money I cannot afford to lose, I don't gamble. It is a principle.

If you have budget and are deciplined enough, you definitely would know when to call it a day and not break the bank.

None, I don’t experience anything like you described in your post - to me it feels like what you described is as a result of too much screen time, the headache might have resulted from too much time spent on your phone or laptop while for your friends heart condition that’s obviously from over excitement.

Neither of them have happened to me before and I’m sure they won’t - try reducing the time you spend viewing your screen and see if it continues if it does maybe then it will truly be linked to gambling activity but if it doesn’t then it’s not as a result of too much gambling or anything related but just your eyes focusing on bright light for too long.

For me I used to addicted to gamble especially on Euros and English leagues and when I am winning and should stop, I never stop and continue to put higher stakes and eventually start losing and wanna win it back. Its kind of very severe addiction so unless you can control yourself better dont.

You should try and learn how to control your self when ever you are gambling, because if you don't control yourself while you are gambling you will lose more before you will realize that you have lost all your fortune on gamble. However you shouldn't allow excitements to make you gamble more. Sometimes when we win because if the excitements we gamble more because we feel like that time is the best time to gamble because we have won 1 to 2 round.

How is that a thing that affects your health? Being emotional is completely normal behavior for a human being. There's no health related conditions here
In my case I don't get any sleep or heart issues. I just get tired, my head hurts from playing for too long, just that normal thing you get after focusing on a task for too long.
As for my pocket, I've managed to keep my funds in line. There were times when I was under, but I've always managed to recover.

It is worse when it has to be losing. The feeling of losing huge some of money and consistently is just what dislike that can make someone have a really bad day. To lose money in gambling consistently makes you feel maybe there is something wrong with you and that can even lead to frustration if not well managed. Your friend is lucky to be winning but a loser doesn't feel any better. I get discouraged with loses. Every gambler's dream is to have winning but when it doesn't come then sadness set in , so with that I have come to the knowledge that whatever happens with the bet you need to move on for better luck next time and there is also the need to take reasonable risk so that loses won't be extremely painful that you would start chasing loses.

Number one reason of that is you'll going to stop once you became financially unstable due to debts created through gambling, because as you go further playing with different types of betting games losses also tend to eradicate.
There's no exception about it, it could be sport betting, casino or even lottery! Everybody could face same bad situations that could stop you from playing several gambling mode of betting.
However, other rich or wealthy person won't matter on this effects on finances but the probability of health issues would certainly a huge threat once you fail to have adequate rest. Our health could suffer from illnesses, in which those you've mentioned could trigger a person from stopping or limiting such gambling activities. The worst is when a person won't recover, is losing their own lives which I believed we don't want to happen on ourselves.

We are just humans and it would really be just that normal that we would really be having those kind of feelings and emotions on which it would really be leading to self control.
Its inevitable considering that we are dealing up with money, the important thing on here is about on having that kind of realization in the end on which it would really be changing you up
and would really be that making yourself getting destroyed because of gambling specially on financial part on which this is the primary thing on which it would be affected.

Speaking about health then if you do have such conditions specially that gambling game could give out that impulsive emotions then if you do have that kind of hypertension then you would really be having that kind of condition on which you would be suffering some palpitations or increasing blood pressure on which continuing on playing would really be just that a suicide thing.
Be responsible and you wont really be that suffering any issues towards gambling. This is the most important thing to be considered on.

You should try and learn how to control your self when ever you are gambling, because if you don't control yourself while you are gambling you will lose more before you will realize that you have lost all your fortune on gamble. However you shouldn't allow excitements to make you gamble more. Sometimes when we win because if the excitements we gamble more because we feel like that time is the best time to gamble because we have won 1 to 2 round.

If you are familiar with trading emotions, you will understand what he is saying. To be able to control about emotions in gambling, it take experience to over come it with time. There is no way you will be new or gamble one or two games without having reactions even though your intention weren't really money, there are days you will be annoyed when you loss game consistently when you have try all the methodology to win but not a single game won.

Been unable to handle the emotions in gambling is the reason why many people becomes addicted to gambling because they don't know how to handle losses and with that in mind, they develop habit of getting back what they have lose to casino and ended up having more losses. They stay in that loop of losses until God knows when they ever recover which is most likely hard to even know as a gambler.

You seem to be growing gradually into addiction mate. You as a responsible gambler shouldn't make use of all your funds on gambling without making set that for your families up keep. Taking a loan makes it even obvious. Though I can't say for sure but you have to reduce your gambling activities abit. Just for now till you might be able to pay back your loans. As for excitement,  myself experience it too when I make wins but then, I let it die down after a while. I just go to my room and lay down for some time after reading up I make other plans for the day and then it's over with the excitement. What you should remember that gambling can make you or break you so the way you react when you have wins will tell how you might also react when you loss. Just keep it low to avoid any complicated health issues.

Feeling those kind of sensations is a clear sign that a person is gambling too much or too often, personally I have never felt something like that but that is because I do not really gamble that much and most of the time it is a sport bet that only takes me a few minutes to do, however if I were to win the lottery or hit a jackpot I cannot really say I would not suffer from the same health issues you have been going through, so maybe it is time that you and your friends think about getting another hobby or take some actions to improve your health.

Well definitely hurts your wallet that's for sure.  Health though, l I personally think it depends on how your mentality is? Or in your example, well,  overexcitement. I've never ran out of money (at least in the past 2 years) due to gambling, nor have I experienced any bad after-effects on my health, both physically and mentally. I just limit my play time and money, that's pretty much it. Now if I get a heart attack after winning enough money for me to play around for my entire life time then I probably can't do much about it, personally I don't think I'm that healthy of a person so it'd be no surprise if it does actually happen.

And well the only reason I ever stop gambling is just like how I stop playing games after some point. It just stales the enjoyment. So I leave and go. It's a cycle, nothing says you have to gamble continuously to have fun anyway.

I can survive without gambling and I'm not desperate to win. I'm an active gambler but I have been able to overcome desperation which is the key factor that leads to the damages that people experience from gambling. Therefore, I will not say that gambling have any effect on me because I cannot remember the last time I get depressed due to gambler as depression was my major challenge with gambling. So, I enjoy gambling with free mind and without fear because win or lose, life continues.

There are 2 bad effects, health and financial.
Most people first think of the financial - where if you don't have money, you can't gamble some lead to debt or loss of savings, very bad action when you are gambling.

Next is the health effects which I believe, are the most important are mental health and emotional, and psychological which will affect your gambling and lead you to lose or bankruptcy, which will lead you to stop gambling.

I don't think that gamblers could have been thinking about their health if they play, specially in this period wherein you can just play at home because gambling is accessible thur online now. So the obvious effect will be losing money, can't control ourselves and we don't know how to prioritized things because we all think of gambling.

Not sure though why you are having a head-ache even if you are winning, perhaps I will say that you need to go to the doctors for a checkup. So for me to stop is that I don't have the daily or monthly or weekly budget to gamble. Or that I have to settle other things that is more important that gambling.

Bad sign. Some people even die after hitting the long-awaited jackpot due to the excitement and all the adrenaline accumulated. Some are luckier and just faint. But in any case, if in addition to negatively affecting your finances, it is also affecting your health, you know what you have to do. You don't need any of us to tell you.

I experienced excessive spending and inappropriate time which disturbed my rest time and thus affected my own health. in the incident that I experienced where the excessive budget made me realize that I should no longer gamble excessively until now I am no longer interested in gambling very much, at that time, when I want to gamble I will do it with great enthusiasm and Don't think about experiencing defeat, loss or anything else. I just thought I could win. However, when this fatal incident happened, I was no longer interested. For now, when I want to gamble, I can avoid those thoughts, it's even easy to avoid or eliminate thoughts like that for now and I think that's because I've experienced something that made me aware and no longer interested in gambling.

Please note that being too obsessed with gambling can cause us to experience losses, and I think all people who gamble tend to have experienced wanting to win so much that they get quite serious problems, but I think all addicts will realize when they have experienced a point where they experience something that happens. make them aware or rather can slap them and make them aware as I experienced.

gambling addicts often let gambling overwhelm them and take over their lives their mood and mental state are all dependent on the results of their gambling acitvities which leads to friends and families being affected as well

once this gambling addiction puts other people in harm then you know it is really time to stop and get help
