Quoting them to see previous questions about merit from OP.
Greeting everyone. I was newly introduced into the system by a friend who made me to have so much interest in the system with the zeal and the passion to learn and gain adequate experience on the system but one of the major problem I'm having now is that I'm not well clarify of what merit entails and as such I will be very grateful if any good minded person can kindly throw more light on that to enable me understand in details and also benefit from the system.
I have been into the system for some months now and I have made over twenty posts but no simply merit has been given to me or earn by me and this make me to be surprise on how these merit are generated, given or earned. However, looking at it in another perspective, I don't know if it is because I did not meet the number of my post require to earn a merit or because of the low quality of my post that is the reason why I had not been able to earn a single merit. So please I will like to get more clarifications on the possible requirement for earning merit.
With your "curiosity," I can say that merit will pass you by. Because you don’t try to understand something for yourself but create a bunch of identical topics and don’t learn anything from user advice.
From April to July, no actual initiative for learning and only ask nearly same question again. Probability of receiving merit for such boring curious questions is very small and repeat it many times does not increase chance because
"quality over quantity"If you make ten thousand posts in a week, your activity will be capped and you will still be a Newbie. If you make ten thousand useless posts over any period of time, you will gain zero merit and you will still be a Newbie. You can rank up only by making good posts consistently. It's quality over quantity.
