I'm not going to deny using AI tools to correct spelling and grammar errors or enhance content but the ideas and a whole lot of the content is mine. Merit cannot be mined. By going through the history of bitcointalk, I learned that until the end of 2017, merit was given in the form of airdrops according to the activity of users. And the activity increases based on the post and according to a period. But later Merit's airdrop was stopped.  Now you will get merit only when an individual gives you merit. So in this case you need to post quality that will appeal to any user of a merit source or forum who has Smerit. Just then he can give you merit.  Thus you have to get merit.This is the only way to get merit

Calm down OP don't rush,it's time to learn, you need to be serious when doing things. Bitcoin forum is not a joking platform, I see all these to you as a joke.
Mining has to do with blockchain where validation of transactions  and securing the network during Bitcoin generation are done and not merit, so do more research and findings on your study,also follow the links for more knowledge,it will help you.

Do not misunderstand the merit system that has been established in the forum. Merit cannot be mined and it is impossible to do so, you will only earn Merit through quality posts. Everything about merit is attached for you to start with some links provided by other users, you can learn about how it works. When you get 2 merits, you will get 1 sMerit which can be sent to other users.
Always try to produce quality posts to get more Merits, that's all you can do after the merit Airdrop period is over. I just saw your profile, there are two merits that you have obtained and that is enough for you to be in the Jr member rank, but there is 1 Merit that you can send to other users, you can send Merit to quality posts not to posts that you like.

Merit mining 🙄🙄 although the name sounds cool but sadly there is no way you can mine merit well if except by mining merit you mean earning them then yes it's possible to earn merits and the only way is to do it the old fashioned way by making good contributions and engaging actively in the forum by providing viable information.

When we start running after something, that thing makes us tired and this is true, so one should never run after things which he can achieve even if he can do it himself. If we are capable, things will come to us by themselves, we will not have to run after them, merit is also the same. The forum is about Bitcoin and it was created as a discussion. board for Bitcoin but it was never meant to mine merits. This comment from @pakhitheboss made my day, because   I was I kind of hesitant to comment or even read through this topic for long now all because of the title of the topic, I don't know what that ops take the forum for because aside from bitcoin discussions which is the major reason and popuse for this forum merit outside the forum is worthless,  so what the value of merits outside this forum that will make it to be asset to mined at any time, and what do you take the merits system for, its not a coin and doesn't have any monetary value with no argrithem to be mind or transfered from one balance to another.

I wasn't aware that someone created a thread in beginners and help about how to mine merits when merits can't be mined in the first place. Maybe you came to the wrong forum since this forum is about discussions and there's nothing about mining merits being mentioned here during the time I joined the forum although there's a discussions about how to get merits, how to earn and many more. Merits are given from merit sources and those who received merits. 2 merits generates 1 smerit which you can send to another forum member.

I have always been against the whole merit system because we see a lot of people selling merits and it also sends out an incorrect message to the beginners as they start focussing more on merits than learning.

Though there are people who abuse the merit system but I would say merits and your quality of information you shared works hand in hand but the merit being requirement for campaign is what makes people desperate for merits.

I would say you need to focus on learning and sharing knowledge and merits will fall in place.

Merits aren't mined as miners does mine Bitcoins and get rewards after revalidating of Bitcoin transaction blockchains instead merits are earned by forum users who actually makes quality posts implied to solve problems either based on a requested/trending threads.
You can make this quality post to earn merits by replies or creating quality threads which can be helpful to anyone here.
Then anyone with sendable merits is entitled to merit your post depending who finds our post interest or quality.
Then you as a merit earner is also entitled to merit others posts and you can only have sendable merits when you also earns merits.
Note: the least you can sendable merit is 1 and you get half percent of received merits.
This is how merits are being speculated within the forum and it's not mined.

Mining is a technical action, it's brute-forcing a string untill the hash of said string is under a certain value... Merit is a record in bitcointalk's database. The two have nothing in common.
It's like asking if you can grow potatoes to hear some nice music.

If you want merit, just forget about merit and engage in the community. Learn, make friends, talk, make good posts... Merits will come sooner or later.
