ALL bitcoiners and collectors are invited for an ITALIAN APERITIVO @ ART MALL https://www.artmallmilano.com  (5-8 PM)
This is an ART GALLERY / PUB located in: via Torino 64 MILANO (10 minutes walk from Piazza Duomo - City Center).
There are free drinks/finger foods offered to participants* - The chance to talk and connect with other collectors and talk about our hobby!
Polymerbit and Frank Alpen Coin will take part as Artists/Speakers.
We will also have some representatives of the BitPolito group as special guests....

OLD MEETING - 27-29 September 2024 - CATANIA - ITALY
Dear fellow collectors,
you are all invited to participate in the "bitcoin collectibles" themed exhibition that which will be held in Catania (Italy) from 27 to 29 September 2024

Closest Airport = CTA Fontanarossa
How to arrive? From CTA Fontanarossa take "Radio Taxi" 00390958833 // Take Alibus and check local line with https://moovitapp.com/ or google maps.

In addition to displaying a whole series of collectibles, I am planning some meetings with creators/artists and some OG/Legendary of bitcoin world.

During those days the artists will be physically present... an excellent opportunity to meet them live... and many many other surprises
This initiative arise from the simple need to give more and more "physicality" to bitcoin and the objects behind this technology.
There are hundreds of collectors in a city like this...probably many of them would be fascinated by these objects, by their simplicity, by their historical importance, by their art.
The idea of ​​the exhibition is a good idea to also get in touch with them and try to broaden curiosity about this sector.

Forgive the lack of further details. I will provide a final agenda in upcoming weeks.

Very nice initiative, Bitbollo!

It will be very difficult for me to be there, even if I would love to attend.
Due to previous commitments, I could be on a very different part of the globe on that period.
But never say never!

Catania has a special place in my heart.

I'll report back on the reactions of the people who visited the gallery.

It's great that people from all socio-economic backgrounds have a chance to interact with this art.

P.S. If you're considering going, Sicily is a beautiful place!

As an exchange student in 1987, I took a Eurail pass and ended up going to Lipari.  3 of us stayed at a Castle/Youth hostel for $3 day.  It was such an amazing experience!

Love this!  I'm third generation Italian & growing up Italian is all I know, ethnic wise (despite being a mut).  I've always hoped to see more Italians in this space, but I think the only consistent collector from ITA has been you Bitbollo, if I'm not mistaken.   Would be great if this event helped bring a few over to this part of bitcointalk.   

(btw Bitbollo been meaning to reach out to you about trying to contact my relatives over your way. If you have any sort of recommendations/websites that you know of that help connect Italians to their US relatives..please let me know.  Not sure if such a thing exists but hope so!  Been a very difficult search so far).

I'll be taking equipment with me to stream it. But this will ultimately depend of the internet quality on site.

My idea Is to have some recorded interviews/ meetings available for streaming during the event and after (lets create some material/reference for long terms)...
Generally in each day of this event there is a "live session" (1-2 hours) with speakers available "physically".

Regarding internet connection, we will have at least a couple of solutions available... i don't See any particular issue here, of course live interaction would be always the best and my target for the meeting.

Unfortunately I have no clue on how to reach both of them since i don't have any kind of social network
Exposing other artists or many items it's pretty hard if not impossible since these should be listed and insured etc etc...
However, I am confident that you can join the same in the venue that's much pretty better place then Rho Fiera (they told me but I will verify by presence )

I do confirm: I have been to Sicily once, and I found it very interesting and diverse as per touristic offerings.
The end of September is a fantastic period of the year to visit as a bonus. It's still warm, and there are fewer tourists around.
